Excellent customer service for drive thru. They really have this processed streamlined, efficient and super friendly. First time trying this place. Got waffle fries which are good but not as crisp and a bit saltier than our preference. Vanilla milk shake with generous whip cream was quite thick so it will take time to drink. Good flavor. Overall a fun outing for a quick treat read more

I love this Chic Fil A!!! There are definite differences between the various locations around the city. Scott and his team at this store are the most consistent at getting things right every time. All things right! As a concept they do a great job of keeping a customer centric environment at pretty much any location that you visit. You'll hear "My Pleasure" as opposed to any other phrase when you tell them "Thank You". It's the kind of thing that is slight but really takes a ton of work from upper management to make sure it remains part of the culture. Claps for that! Like I said the get it right here. The culture is spot on and you can tell by any visit any time. The chicken is always fresh, hot, never soggy, trimmed right, crunchy when fried, and hot and tasty when grilled! Listen, I love chick-fil-a, but I do think the food and stuff needs to be thoroughly checked. Had mold on my bread today. Not much, but still. I can't leave work to get it or get a new one and I don't have the money to just throw this away to buy another bread AND have it delivered. read more

I ordered chicken egg and cheese biscuit and rec'd bacon egg and cheese biscuit. when I called back they wanted me to waste my gas to drive back to get the correct order. I guess they did not believe me to say we will replace your order next time and to try to enjoy the wrong order because your time is valuable. Chic fil a you have to many loyal customers to start this irrational best practice. Back to McDonald's I go. read more

Dont get me wrong, i love chickfila, but the customer service at this specific chickfila is absolutley tragic. This is the only chickfila I have ever had problems with. I sit sitting in drive through waiting on the young lady to come up to me after I had been waiting a minute, then a couple cars pull up and they serve them first evem thl I have been sitting there for a minute. The young lady running drive through outside does not know how to do her job. I will try my absolute hardest to avoid this specific location for as long as I possibly can, because there is just constant problems with this restaurant. STEP YOUR GAME UP! read more

Really poor organization, unfriendly staff, they do not greet or try to help customers. I have multiple Chick-fil-A's by my house in the future I will probably chose to pass on this location. Compared to other Chick-fil-A the customer experience is poor and the food quality is not as good as other locations. Everything is normally severed cold. With 3 locations on poplar in about a 5 mile radius I would recommend picking one of the other locations. read more

I use to come to this Chick-fil-A every single morning. I haven't come in a few months (pre Covid). I came this morning and waited 25 minutes in curbside for my order. It was too late to change it to drive thru. They have THE SLOWEST staff bringing out orders not to mention they were not friendly at all. Any other Chick-fil-A I've ever been to is so kind and FAST!! My mom and I recently visited Chick-fil-A at 4916 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38117. Previous to this visit, we used Popeye's just west of here. Popeye's has slaw. Chick-fil-A does not. Each visit to Popeye's took much time in line and the servers were not particularly amiable. Popeye's actually left my slaw order out of the bag last visit. ‍ We like slaw BUT we can no longer stand Popeye's treatment. Chick-fil-A, we are BACK! Our first visit back was beautiful! The line looked huge BUT it moved expeditiously. At the window, I asked the server if everything was in the bag. She said yes! I said that is not true at Popeye's. She said, "This is not Popeye's!" We are so happy to be back!.....AND I can make my own slaw! read more

The food is great and I go for the costumer service. But recently their slacking. I hardly ever get the sauce I ask for and this time I didn't get any straws. Amazing grace, I see this place where customers are kings and employees are queens. I love their invention that makes tons of customer retention. All it is is old fashioned charm and lots of respect and all without smarm. I promise you this while cows eat hay, I'll eat their chicken almost any day. Except Sunday and that's so cool they give employees Sunday off. read more

So sad to say I had a horrible experience at my neighborhood's Chik Fil A. I ordered two meals and a milkshake from a so called manager by the name of Sara. After I paid and she filled by drinks she said next and before the next customer could approach, I said hold on I forgot a cookie (its important to mention it would have taken her 30 secs or less to ring me up a chocolate chip cookie and the person behind me hadnt even approached the counter yet. Instead she made me go to the back of the line which was 7 deep. So there I am standing in line again behind 7 people holding 2 bags and a drink holder with three drinks from my first order. Anyways after 8 minutes of waiting in line again, I tell the back house manager who walks by what happemed and he said he's on it. By that point I was next and said the backhouse guy got me and I told him what happened because it's terrible customer service. She said in a sarcastic tone, im his boss. I say I come in here every other day for breakfast and will tell the GM of my terrible experience. She said there'svnobody higher the her so basically nonverbal was trying to say there's nothing u can do. When I informed her how terrible of a customer experience she had given me she acted like she could care less and just walked away. She could have at least alologized or given me a discount on my cookies or something to show she cared even the least bit. Im a nonconfrontational guy but when someone treats me badly at my daily establishment and then claims there's no one to complain to bc she's the boss. I asked to speak to her gm and she said she's the highest which I know she isnt the operator/gm. She then argued with me that she is the GM.In my 20 devoted years as a Chik Fil A fanatic, ive never experienced a manager treat me with so little concern or care. Sara, please take some classes on customer satisfaction. Have a great one -Forrest Dunavant PS my $25 worth of food was cold and the shake melted bc I had to wait in line twice. On top of all that the cookies were hard and room temperature. Not sure if that's normal for their cookies as McDs are fresh, warm, and soft and a 1/3 the price. In all my years CFA has exceeded my expectations when it comes to customer satisfaction and service and making the customers feel important. This lady, Sara, really changed my views. She was very confrontational and i still cant believe she made me get in the back of the line while holding m my 25bdollars worth of food which is hetting cold! This Chick-fil-A is horrible! Every time I go there through the drive thru, they ALWAYS get something in my order WRONG and I don't realize until AFTER I'm already home. Then, when you try to call them to tell them about the issues, the phone NEVER gets answered!!! It's seriously so annoying. I hate this Chick-fil-A location. Tonight, they forgot to give me a receipt, forgot the dressing for my salad I ordered, and of course, WON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. This is the 6th time in the last 2 months that this has happened to me. Best service in the city!! Always friendly, always helpful. The food is fantastic and kid friendly. I waited probably an extra 2 minutes on my meal and they gave 2 free sandwich cards! They really do go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied! Another time, I was in the drive through and Got to the window and forgot my wallet! Instead of sending me away, the manager paid for it! Yes I did go back and pay for it, but that is excellent service. read more

I though they were just making mistake first time ... the sandwich was cold... then no sauce ... then I'm allergic to pickle and they added pickle in my sandwich and when I told them one of the manager, they just laugh and said "sorry". This Was Really A Bad Experience I Have Never Been So Upset. I Placed An Order At 4:20pm & At 4:22pm I Had A Notification Saying That My A Team Member Was On Their Way With My Order. I Took Almost 30 Minutes For My Food To Actually Come Out & When It Finally Did The Young Lady That Brought It Out Walked Past My Car All The Way To The Other End Of The Parking Lot. Every time I order after 8 pm from Whitten location thru DoorDash they "lose" the order and it turns into a big mess. If it didn't continue to happen I'd assume random error but frequency of "lost" orders is too often to just be happenstance. I had a good opinion of this location and have ordered from this location often. No nighttime orders from here on. read more

Wow! Chik-Fil-A used to have the best service of any fast food. I am currently in the line and just had the rudest interaction that I have ever had with the girl taking my order. She was cold rude and mean. Extremely unfriendly service is not what I was looking for from a supposed Christian establishment. Terrible just terrible. read more

Every. Single. Time. I place a curbside pick up it takes AT LEAST 30 minutes. No where else is like this. Then when I finally get my food I am missing things. If you can't handle curbside then do away with it. It has taken SEVERAL horrible pick ups for me to finally write a review. Today I saw others asking for things that were missing and asking when their food would be out. This is ridiculous. I think I'm done with this Chick-fil-a read more

I always wonder why people write reviews on fast food...and yet here I am, writing a review on fast food. I guess I can justify it with the fact that this is the only fast food I'll eat. Period. Ok ok, yes, when I'm really really drunk you **might** find me at a Taco Bell at 2 in the morning, but that is just peer pressure. Oh...and there was that one time in Gulfport for a horse show when I went on a Backyard Burger kick...but I digress, Chick-fil-A is the only fast food I eat regularly. Wow, that was just an epiphany...I guess I do eat it quite often. Maybe that is why I haven't lost weight. Anyways, it is clean clean clean and the staff is always nice nice nice. I never worry about what they are doing to my food and even though the (2!!) lines are always wrapped around the block, it moves relatively quickly as the staff is very competent. And the food actually looks like food. This is important at a fast food place. I feel like I'm actually eating real food that isn't *that* bad for me. I mean, fattening, yes, but still real chicken. read more

This Chick-Fil-A had an order placed for 90 chicken biscuits the night before for a bunch of Hard working students. These worked came out to me and said that I had 60 biscuits ready at 7:13 when I had a request for them to be ready at 7. At 7:30 a worker came back to me and said they only had 40 now? I was perfectly fine until she just said sorry and walked away, horrible service nothing at all as an apology just a have hearted sorry. VERY DISSAPOINTED! read more

Great CFA! So clean and friendly on the inside. It does get pretty crazy here around lunch time though due to both traffic on Poplar and the fact that it IS indeed a CFA and everyone wants to come eat here. Just try to avoid the 12 o'clock lush (lunch+rush) hour, if you can! Legit food. Try the Double Chunk Chocolate Chip Cookie. YUMS. read more

They are lightening fast at lunch. Very highly recommend. The lady took my order, pulled up, the guy gave me the receipt and I was around to receive my food by the nicest girl who said my name then thank you. Only chick fila and another place says thank you. And thank you child fila. read more

The drinks were mostly ice (see pic) and the fries were old and hardly filled in the container too. I have family who works at CFA in Arkansas and this is not a standard practice. The line is always long at this CFA and I'm not sure why. read more

This is the WORSE chick-fil-a in the city. The on Riverdale and Winchester is a little ratchet but at least your food is right! This is my THIRD time going and my last. I can't have cheese so I asked for a burrito with no cheese and extra salsa... I asked for ketchup for the hash browns... I asked the little girls at the window if the sauces were in the bag and they said YES.. NOPE. So I got back in line because I have a sleeping baby with me... got my sauces from a nice young man just get home and there's cheese on my food plus the oj isn't cold. I called but they never answer!! read more

I will be driving 20 minutes to another location now because this one has constantly messed up orders, had beyond ridiculous wait times (average 20 min wait for past 3 orders, all were small and not complicated) and has not demonstrated an effort to correct either. I am a former CFA employee so I understand how busy it can get.....the issues at this location go deeper than that. read more

My boyfriend and I split the Honey Gem salad, which was perfectly balanced and had delicious, sweet profiles. We then ordered the Chicken of the Sea Pizza, which was very questionable. Essentially, the pizza was just round garlic bread with a 3oz mound of sushi-grade tuna in the middle. The cold, raw tuna atop hot, oily cheese was not the combination I was expecting nor enjoyed (I was expecting cooked tuna, and for the pizza to lean more on an Asian flavor focus). This pizza was supposed to have a green goddess sauce/drizzle, but was unfortunately missing. I was hoping the sauce would help to round out the odd flavor pairings.

There's nothing like eating a grilled chicken salad dry. Funny thing is, all the people who ordered a salad were in the restroom within the hour with diarrhea. I had the fish and chips. They left out the malt vinegar I requested. Soggy fries were in the same container and we received a roll and a piece of cornbread nobody ordered. Just a total lack of incompetence once more. If this is considered a "neighborhood" restaurant, there's no wonder for sale signs are all in the area. They really need to pay more attention to to-go orders especially when they are getting gratuity. I had to explain to the millennial who picked up our food what Joe Pesci said in "Lethal Weapon 2" in regard about the drive-thru. Needless to say, he never heard of Joe Pesci or "Lethal Weapon." Anyway, Patrick's justs needs to do a better job all around. Everyone else thought their food wasn't fresh. Nothing spectacular. It's a shame they closed Piccadilly down the street because I would have much rather had that instead.

Though this did happen. After I posted it. I contacted the restaurant manager who was very apologetic that this happen and immediately wanted to make it right. We had a very good conversation about it and I'm convinced that this is not the behavior they allow from their staff. Shortly after that the district manager also called to apologize, we also had a very good conversation about this. I'm impressed with their response to this and will absolutely go back because it is one of our favorite places to eat, the food is excellent. To all my friends and family who contacted me about this please continue to support this business, in hindsight I should have waited for the manager's response prior to posting my post, but I was so taken back by the person's attitude. The food is always fresh and if by chance there is an issue, they readily resolve to satisfaction. While my issues have been few and very far, I've witnessed a few "challenging" guests. They were handled them with dignity and professionalism. I appreciate being able to watch sports (especially basketball) while dining. The Southwest Cobb is my favorite, mainly because of the variety of vegetables and the level of freshness. If you like spice, the blackened shrimp has an excellent kick. If playing it safe (heartburn is real), simply ask them to go lighter on the blackened. Both the Poplar Ave and Cooper Young locations have an active security guard/lot attendant on the parking lots. There is such a relief in knowing that you don't have to anticipate a broken window or worse when returning to your vehicle. I give Soul Fish Cafe ! While they are known for the fried and blackened fish, the shrimp is always perfect. Quote me on that!
