I ordered the double cheeseburger with all the fixings. And it was simply delicious and the fries with cheese awesome. Everything was fulfilling and more than enough.

This is a cute little place, but kind of tucked away. It's on a side street and parking is scarce. My husband and I came for lunch a when they first opened for the day and there was no one there. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The food is okay. Looks really nice but the tastes are just... off. The fries were too salty and this was a kids plate. The chicken and French toast were good together, but the sauce (tasted like a sweet chili) was odd with it. The brunchwrap was very bland. It had a lot going on, but needed some more seasoning or some kind of flavor. The fried green tomatoes were the best part. Those were good and crunchy. The charcuterie board was interesting. It was all good, but together the flavors just didn't work. If you are in the area, try them out.

My husband & I came for lunch a little after noon. Plenty of seating and the ambiance was wonderful. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food. The best thing we ate was the Fried broccoli the sauce was great. He had the Bruno wrap tha was supposed to come with chorizo but they gave him unseasoned ground beef and a mixture of things in a tortilla. I ordered a patty melt that was supposed to have 2 patties but it was just a unseasoned BLAND patty cut in half. The food was portioned for the size of toddler plates for the price. We spent $75. But hey if you're in the area try them out.

Buffalo Broccoli (v) and Deviled Egg

This was my first time having brunch at Magnolia &May. The buffalo broccoli was my favorite appetizer, freshly fried and stuffed with blue cheese. The deviled eggs topped with caviar were delicious just need more seasoning. Next I had the grilled ny steak strip with hash-browns, fried egg and side salad. I did order the steak strip medium just so I can taste the flavor and juice. The waitress was very friendly and checked on me multiple times. It was a little hot in there but I was able to manage the heat. The parking is kind of small, I ended up parking on the street.

Nice venue with both bar and table seating. The brunch menu is very extensive and provides an opportunity to get a range of appetizers to steak. I enjoyed the brunch wrap supreme and the chorizo was not spicy. The service was a bit slow, although my friends and I arrived before the room filled up. However, the server was gracious and friendly.

We needed a quick bite after flight bf coming home. Magnolia and May delivered! Cute patio with lush real live plants! Loved the pimento cheese appetizer, and the Cobb salad. Bloody Mary's were solid!

The eggplant bacon dip was so good we ordered a second. The drinks were all Golden Girl themed and we had like six. They were all amazing! The manager Austin was absolutely wonderful but the entire staff really made it great!

For the price of dinner (well over $100 per person excluding drinks), there were 2 things why that moved me to a 4 star review. 1. I don't know why they ask for such details if they're not going to do anything about it. 2. The front desk at the hotel recommended this spot, and I couldn't be happier with their recommendation. Cocozza sits on the far end of a strip mall, but has adequate parking in the front, and additional in the rear of the property. Visiting on a Friday evening, there was a small wait and all seats were full. However, I was able to find a vacant bar seat. Steven made a great gin martini, and fave me the rundown on the menu. I decided to start with a Caesar salad, followed by Bucatini Alla Enzo for the entree. Until today, I hadn't had the pleasure of trying bucatini, but this unique pasta might just be my new favorite. It was just the right portion of pasta with a wonderful garlic sauce accompanied by fresh mushrooms and peas. I grabbed a piece of lemon cheesecake to-go, and gave my seat to a waiting patron. The downside was that on the first visit, I didn't know you could sub out the "pencil points" that come with each entree. When you don't modify this, you get the points in a red sauce. Meh. The appetizers are also great and my husband raved about his. I don't remember what he ordered, but it had a salad on top that was delightful.

There weren't that many customers in during this time and I saw quite a few waiters that could have cleaned it up. One more comment - when I used to live in Memphis (maybe 5 years ago?) this restaurant had a piano player some nights. This was AWESOME !!! Any chance of bringing that back??? That piano player made the place SO SPECIAL compared to other restaurants. It was the perfect blend of a good meal in a nice environment with a magnificent musician demonstrating their talents. I had reservations for 7:45 but the seating took a little minute due to large celebrations beforehand. Upon booking, I was unaware of live music on Saturdays so that was a surprise and a great treat. The artist is a well known local musician, he was phenomenal! We ordered the blackened shrimp dumplings and the baked crab dip for starters. The dumplings had an unique savory taste but it had the texture of grounded meat instead which was interesting. However the taste was delicious. I loved how the tomato bacon gravy brought it all together. The complimentary bread went better with the crab dip than the French baguette toast that it came with. Now for the entrees...salmon with black rice, mushrooms, topped with beet emulsion and shrimp and grits! Perfectly seasoned and nice portion. The pictures speak for themselves.
