The drink machine is quite literally always broke every single time I go to this location. I should just travel the extra miles and go to the Bartlett store. They have a lot of young employees who are a little oblivious to their duties when a customer is at the ordering station. Much more casual atmosphere than the Bartlett store. read more

Stopped in for lunch at Taziki's, and ordered the Caesar salad with salmon. As usual, the food was delicious and cooked to order. I contend the grilled salmon is one of the best you will find in the region. A great solid meal and the iced tea equally good. When I arrived, I was greeted by employees and then the amount manager walked through the dining area talking to patrons. This seemed genuine and I appreciated it. Nice people and great good. The Mediterranean salad is so good. I've had it with beef and chicken and they were both excellent. I usually get the balsamic vinaigrette. Its sweet. I also absolutely love the sweet walnuts and feta cheese crumbles that come with this salad. Hands down.. this is one of the best salads ever. The last time I came I also ordered the hummus with pita bread. It wasnt from this location but the one off of Germantown Pkwy. The hummus was flat. It was also very soupy. Not thick at all. Maybe not highly authentic, but very good, quick, and consistent. Dedicated and efficient staff, great place to grab a quick bite. I usually stick to the gyro. The pitas are great: they don't over power the ingredients inside and hold up to any moisture Chicken or lamb and beef, it's great, flavorful with a citrusy fresh twist. The sides are very good as well. The potatoes are good enough to be enjoyed by themselves, but the cucumber and tomato salad is by far the best. Their daily specials are also a pretty good bet if you're gyroed out. I can't recommend their build your own gyro bar option for catering events or office lunches enough. Big, hearty quality pieces of chicken with fresh fixings and great tzaziki sauce. The price point is great for the amount of food. I would, however, recommend picking up your order, even if it is large- the delivery fee is a bit much, and add on a tip and it doesn't feel like quite the deal you were getting. They at first had plastic cups for soup but you had to worry about whether they clip the top down or not.... Or will it spill everywhere......Now they have gone to paper cups for soup and had the great idea to set 2 soups on top of the paper top so guess what...... it ruined the bottom 2 bc they collapsed thru. We just stopped on the way home from an auction. Living in Lakeland we normally go out just a few miles from the lakes. It is fast casual Greek American which is way better than Zaytoon but not my LA favorites. We tried grilled shrimp w potatoes and Greek Salad, lamb with Greek Salad and Pork w potatoes and asparagus. Hummus w pita was the appetizer. Everything was presented very well and prices were reasonable. However the spicy hummus was thinner and not as flavorful as I make and lacked my tiny olive oil splash, rosemary sprig and Parmesan shaving. My favorite after trying everything was the flavorful grilled shrimp and spicy red skins. Wow. We didn't try the Chardonnay every other table ordered. I've got a wine cooler full of better vintages. Hubby got the traditional lamb gyro while a friend and I got chicken varieties. I greatly appreciate that they were very understanding about his nut allergies and made a note for the chefs to change their gloves while making his. It was ok and I can tell it leans toward healthy... but the flavor's just weren't there for me. There didn't seem to be much seasoning on the gyros. I mixed my cucumber salad with bites of my gyro to give it some flavor and because the salad was too strong to eat on its own. The lamb had no flavor whatsoever though and I didn't even get to taste any sauce- hubby says the elusive stuff was so runny it got soaked up into the bread. I'd eat here again if someone else chose it but I won't be seeking this place out to cure my gyro cravings. RAW CHICKEN Can't cook chicken properly. It was pink and chewy. Had to send back. Second time I only asked for pesto since they didn't make the correct gyro and they get upset and throw it away. I only asked for extra pesto ! Like I have time to wait for them to make a second sandwich. Super rude employee... made a whole show about throwing away the sandwich. They gave my money back but the only thing I wanted to do was eat a decent meal since I had not eaten all day. Awesome way to treat struggling moms. I have consistently had issues with service at this location. I have ordered togo in the store and waited 45 minutes before my order was ready. I asked multiple times while waiting only to find my order had been misplaced. I have ordered dine in and 30 min later when my order had not come out found they had packed it for to go and it had been sitting at the counter. Most recently I ordered an online pick up order. I arrived at the store and was told my order was not placed, despite me having an online confirmation. They started making my order at that point and I received my order an hour after it was originally placed. In addition, the order was incorrect and missing $5 worth of food. The food itself is great but this location has some improvements to make on its service and timeliness of orders. read more
