This has got to be the nicest group of employees ever. Everyone here greets you with a smile and asks how you're doing. They bump the best music too! It's the only place you can go eat a club while you feel you're at the club! Subway is the OG in my opinion and that's why I represent the yellow, white, and green machine. I'm not sure what is wrong with fast food employees today but none really seem to care. I walked in to a bunch of rude faces. When I ordered my sandwich, they plopped a big spoonful of avocado on one side and barely spread it so I had a ton on one side and little to none on the other. They proceeded to squirt my dressing on the middle only and salt and pepper on the middle only as well. They were out of olives too. Needless to say, my sandwich wasn't very good. Subway is still by far my favorite healthy fast food. I spent enough years experimenting that I've pretty much figured out the one thing I like to get. I get the black forest ham sandwich on 9 grain wheat bread with a variety of things such as pepperjack, lettuce, spinach, bell peppers, red onion, tomatoes, and jalapenos if in the mood. Lately I have been experimenting with sauces. The Chipotle Southwest Sauce is good but it's easily overpowered by jalapenos so if I were to get this sauce again it would have to be a time I wasn't getting jalapenos. Subway is a great alternative to the usual fast foods that consists of the same ol fanfare of burgers and fries. While there isn't a dollar menu at Subway you're still getting more sandwich for less money and a healthier alternative to fries outside of chips like a soup or salad. Subway offer the option for you to have your sandwich (except meatball) prepared as a salad if your counting carbs and wanting to avoid the bread. But if your wanting to stick with good ol bread & have a sandwich. Subway offer a reasonable variety from flat bread down to italian herbs and cheese. Despite marking up their prices on most of their $5 footlongs to $1 you can still get something like a spicy Italian footlongs for $5. I always order a spicy Italian on a Italian herbs and cheese bread toasted. I like the fact that they have plenty of fresh veggie toppings and a small variety of sauces the choose from when you customize your sandwich. I love the fact that you can watch the staff on the prep line prepare your sandwich right in front of you. Compared to the drive-thrus where you hope they prepare it your way right away. Where at Subway you can tell them how you want prepared and can never go wrong as far as your order goes. As far as my experience goes I've never had a problem at this location as the staff was friendly prepared my sandwich quickly rung me up fast & was ready to eat at the dining area. While it might take a extra minute or two you're still getting food fresh and fast. But in closing I have to say they also keep the lobby clean for a enjoyable dining experience. I normally enjoy eating at Subway, but my recent experience at this particular Collierville wasn't very good. The restaurant allowed an employee, who prepares customers sandwiches, to work with long hanging dreads. Her hair was hanging over the food when she leaned forward. I was at disbelief that a Subway would insert unsanitary conditions into the food preparation process. Why doesn't the manager or ownership of this chain work to provide cleaner conditions versus walking it back the other direction? A little common sense goes a long way in the restaurant industry. So I got a hot ham and cheese sub Saturday at 12pm. Ate it and it tasted great. Few hours later was sicker than anything. Doctors told me it was food poisoning!! Ole girl up there with the Apple Watch and the nappy edge and the childish ass ponytail has an attitude everytime .two different days I went up there. she gets upset because I guess she hates her job and hates making sandwiches and don't like to follow personalized orders. Collierville Subway on Byhalia rd has rude employees and a rude manager. They seem to get a thrill from humiliating elderly customers. They were having a problem with their credit card reader due to internet connection issues. They made the elderly gentleman stand off to the side until they had time to figure the issue out instead of just letting the man eat his sandwich. They left the man standing there for so long (almost ten minutes) until he said "forget about it". The Subway manager responded "good" and threw the sandwich in the trash. They would rather waste the food instead of giving to the man that ordered it. It wasn't his fault the card reader malfunctioned. I told the manager she should have just given the man the sandwich and she responded "he's got to pay for it first". He tried to pay for it. They are so short sighted, not only have they lost the elderly gentleman as a customer, they have lost me as a customer. I have visited Subways in other states and many in Tennessee and I can say without a doubt that this Subway is by far the fastest and friendliest and most accurate I have ever been too. For example my 2 young daughters (at the time ages 10 and 4) wanted cookies. So I gave them each a dollar to buy a cookie. They each came out with a cookie but the 3 year old wouldn't give up her dollar to pay so one of the workers took the money out of her pocket for my daughter.
