This Chick-fil-A is so great! My mom loves their chicken biscuit sandwiches! I love their Sweet Tea! Actually I love everything that they serve! We went to this restaurant, and first of all the experience is seemless because they help guide customers through the outside drive through by having friendly team members outside assisting their guests. My mom asked one team member if it was still breakfast time, and the outside team member said that they had just closed breakfast. So I order a chicken sandwich, and some waffle fries, and my mom opted not to get any food. Well, after I got our food, I opened the bag, and inside the bag, I found a free chicken biscuit sandwich! My mom was sooo happy! This really made our day, and I hope that the team here knows just how much they are appreciated. The outside greenery is very well maintained and this beautiful ambience makes driving through a real pleasure. Thank you again team! read more

i ordered 3 items. they got 2/3 wrong. the first upset was during ordering, i stated i wanted the 8 pc chicken nuggets with mac and cheese and an oreo milkshake. the person taking my order in the drive through said "chocolate shake?" and i said no, oreo shake. when he repeated the order back to me, he said "8 pc chicken nugget meal and oreo shake" to which i said yes. i get to the handoff window and the individual handing my meal to me says "autumn?" and hands me the food. as i'm driving away i take a sip of the milkshake (pictured) and realizes it doesn't taste like oreo. i thought maybe it was off or they just had an issue with the machine, until i check and see my milkshake is strawberry and says Lexi. thank god im not allergic to strawberries. i didn't mind this that much, just irritated because i already had to restate what kind of milkshake at the ordering process. then it gets worse. i peer into my bag hoping they didn't also give me lexis order. to my dismay, there were fries in the bag which i did not order. to restate, i ordered nuggets and mac and cheese. i know the priority of the drive thru is speed, but it needs to be quality and accuracy. i wouldn't have minded waiting longer in line if they had gotten my order right. this leaves my meal at a 33.3% accuracy when it's not hard to double check things!! read more

Chick-fil-a in Merritt Island does a good job. The food is typically hot and tasty. My biggest issue is the drive thru. The attendants working the drive through are sometimes so far ahead that you cannot see the menu because you're 3 or 4 cars away; or, your have to wait a long time after ordering to actually get your food and sometimes it's cold or soggy in the bag. Either way, not great. And if you decide you don't want to eat there after getting in line, there is no escape option to get out of line. You're stuck... But if you catch them at the right time, everything is ok! read more

How can I not have discovered Chick-Fil-A before now??? I am in fast-food bliss! I just love the healthier side options of having juicy grilled chicken as opposed to fried. I have had breakfast (grilled chicken & egg white), lunch (grilled chicken sandwich & fruit cup) and dinner (harvest salad) here! Everything is so fresh & tasty! Yesterday evening, there were 20+ cars in the drive thru. They added staff to walk thru the line & take orders. It took less than 10 minutes from getting in line to driving away with my order! Everyone was super friendly and chatted it up while waiting. It seems the employees enjoy working here. I am just sad there is no Chick-Fil-A near where I live! read more

We were a bit skeptical when we drive up & noticed the inside looked fairly empty & the drive through was'nt busy. This was odd considering it was ~7pm on a Wednesday. Turns out our instincts were correct. Most folks who eat st Chick-fil-A expect certain things like cleanliness, friendliness and quality fast food products. After entering the restaurant, I headed for the ladies & was a bit thrown off by the bathroom looking uncleaned. I proceeded to enter a stall. it looked as if someone had bleeding which dried on the toilet & a few drops were on floor. Of course I alerted someone who appeared to be a shift manager or team leader to this gross situation. She went in, returned a short time later & waved her hand on the air & verbalized to another team manager that "it was nothing" while we were still standing at the counter waiting for our drinks. I was shocked & didn't understand how she could've possibly cleaned the stall in the little time she spent in there. This staff leader obviously didn't seem too concerned about cleanliness. While waiting, another customer getting condiments related that if he wanted to be treated like a jerk, he would've gone to McDonald's. It was apparent that this evening crew had team members who don't fit the normal Chick-fil-A character. Hopefully whoever owns this franchise will provide additional training to staff so they don't run the business into the ground. We don't plan to return to this location again. read more

Solid CFA location, in my opinion. The food is always fresh and hot, the staff is always courteous, and the interior is kept pretty clean (well, I'm talking pre-COVID since the interior is closed now). I don't think I've ever had a mixed-up order here, though I have had an order or two of waffle fries that weren't their typical standard of crispy perfection. They usually run some workers out to take menu orders in the drive-thru lanes. It was here and there before, probably during peak hours, but it seems pretty standard now during the pandemic. Not sure why the drive-thru lanes and menu boxes aren't enough and it seems to go against social distancing to put their employees closer to the customers, but whatever. This might just be how all CFAs are doing things so I'll leave that be. Last note here is that they bring you your food on a tray and you remove it yourself. I'm guessing that it's in response to the pandemic. Word to the wise, be careful when removing your items from that tray, especially the drinks! A final recommendation - download the CFA app if you haven't already. Building points for menu item redemption is easy and you'll sometimes get random free rewards from locations you've visited (though this location isn't that good at those). My son helped me to a Red level and we're both anxiously waiting for the pandemic to pass so we can use those benefits to visit the CFA mecca in Atlanta one day! read more

Worst Chick-fil-A ever. Not my first attempt here and I'm just done with it. I was able to order breakfast through the Chick-fil-A app and get to the restaurant and they don't open till 10:30 the same time breakfast ends on the app. Get to the restaurant and there's no one working. Why is the app available for order online pickup at store if the store isn't open?? On top of that, they always get the orders wrong. Something is missing from the order every time. By far the worst chick-fil-a I have been to. The customer service is terrible, I had a girl who made my ONLINE MOBILE order incorrectly yell at me saying that's not her problem. I also avoid this chick-fil-a at all costs because of how stingy they are, for a kids meal with bbq sauce and an adult meal with chick-fil-a sauce I received 1 bbq and 1 chick-fil-a sauce. I also asked for no ice in my drink (which every chick-fil-a will do) and the guy told me that we can't get no ice in a drink but couldn't give a reason. I also said I don't need the drink full I just don't want ice because I have sensitive teeth. but they can give me no ice in store just not drive thru??? My fiancé ordered a spicy deluxe meal today and got a crumpled up sandwich with just the filet. NOT EVEN PICKLES ON THE SANDWICH. Horrible This morning pre-ordered online. Got to the drive-through. Got online on the left. Then didn't move for twenty minutes. I called the store 3x. No answer. The guy in front of me, not at the order column, got out of his car and ran up to the checkout window. A few minutes later a manager comes out with a mobile tablet. She takes his order and then goes over to the moving lane. I yell out my window and tell her to come over to the line that's not moving. She comes over and tells me not to yell at her. I say, "how was I supposed to get your attention?" Then she says, well you could have gone inside, and I said I didn't anticipate your order column would not be working and now my car is trapped in the drive thru lane. While she's bickering with me another car moves up. Finally, to the pickup window. The young woman can't seem to get my name. 3x I say it. The manager that took my order comes up, tells me there's no need to yell and tells me to repeat my name. I say it, and she asks me to repeat myself because she didn't hear it. I repeat it much louder and again, she tells me there's no need to yell. All told 25 minutes wasted. read more

This is the only Chick-fil-A location I seem to have issues with. I did a mobile order that totaled $90, which is a lot of food. For some reason, this store ALWAYS feels the need to PUT EVERYTHING IN ONE BAG. Not even a nice plastic bag; just a paper one. Overflowing. Is there a bag shortage? I said something to the young lady at the window, and she just gave me a blank stare and said 'ok.' Whatever. They didn't give me straws, and shorted me a 12 count nugget. Fries were cold. I've been to this location in Merritt Island too many times to count since they've opened.. We were thrilled to have a Chick-Fil-A so close to us .. The norm is to wait about 30 days and try again.. This location from day one was spot on for the superb customer service with a smile in their voice as well as on their face, each person that you interact with is happy to serve you. The drive thru is seamless to get through .. This week we tried three different fast thru restaurants to compare value, portions and customer service.. Wendy's Cape Canaveral, McDonalds Cape Canaveral and Chick-Fil-A Merritt Island.. Wendy's was the worse in every category!! McDonalds was second place.. While the lines always seem quite long, they have a great system to keep the line moving quickly. Absolutely one of the worst Chick-Fil-A restaurants in terms of customer service! Corporate needs to get this store out of their brand! Management team and operator seem to stand for everything Chuck-Fil-A is not... Then after horrible service and even worse dispute resolution, I called in to speak to the general manager and instead got a shift manager who thought I was stupid enough to believe that she was not sure if her boss was there or not... an obvious lie and then backed up with a flat refusal to let me talk to the gm... I guess customers and there money don't matter at this location... I used to go 2-3 times a week but for see myself making better choices about where to spend my hard earned money. What a joke of a business operating under a respectable name! At this point I wish negative stars were an option. The operator of this store should probably get a 40 hour a week job where someone else is making the management calls! This is the rare Chick-Fil-A that stinks. The windows were dirty. The counters were dirty and there was trash just sitting around on tables not getting collected. I asked for well-done fries, which is a request I have made at hundreds of different CFAs all over America in my travels. It has ALWAYS been accommodated. This particular cashier said "we don't do that here." First time I've ever been told "no" at a Chick-Fil-A. Truett Cathy is spinning in his grave somewhere. There was no cheese on any of my sandwiches. I ordered and paid for cheese. The bag was over filled and they made a handle out of the sticker. The bag was wide open (it couldn't close) so everything was ice cold by the time I got it. It's unbelievable that for a $65 order they couldn't spare a second bag. I was so unimpressed with the service I got today at the Merritt Island Chick fil A. They wouldn't let me order my drink with no ice even though I asked multiple employees. A health issue requires me to have no ice and I've never had trouble at other stores. They also didn't give me a drink carrier and haphazardly juggled my 3 drinks out the drive through window They didn't ask if I needed any sauce so not until I drove away did I notice there was no sauce. All around a bad experience, I don't believe at all that they value their customers. Extremely unhelpful company at this location behind the guise of wanting to give a good experience. read more

Club sandwich contained no bacon. Medium fries about half full and cold and almost unsalted. But they got the unsweet tea right this time (they usually don't). Prices have skyrocketed, two meals with tax, over $26. For those prices you need to get the food right. Beware! The drink lids here are not on tight and their employees are clumsy! This Chicfila location directs you to pull ahead and if that area is full, then they tell you to drive around to the side parking lot. They then send an employee over to your car who doesn't know how to balance the drinks and food on their 9x11 dinky unlined trays. My 2 large drinks ended up getting tipped into my new car--which resulted in a sticky mess. I mopped it up with the tissue paper napkins in the bag, and then waited for over an hour for a manager to come out to document the mess. The liquid had spilled into the drink holders of my center console--saturating the two electronic key fobs placed there by the dealership where I had just been in the first place, before deciding to go to this Chicfila for a tea and lemonade. Not only did they not replace the order, they didn't even apologize. I called their corporate number, and soon their insurance company "Sedgwick Claims Management Services" contacted me. "Kanod" told me that according to the store video the employee was not clumsy--it was my passenger who lunged across the car and grabbed the two beverages! First off, my passenger is a grown adult sized well behaved human being and never lunged across me to grab any drinks. That doesn't even make sense -- why would a passenger reach for the items when the employee with the tray was on my side (the driver side) I asked? After a long silence, "Kanod" just sighed and hung up the phone. The cost to detail the new Challenger and get all the syrupy spill out of the carpet was $179. The key fobs I replaced under warranty. Once again--no apology for their clumsy employee and they never once offered to replace or reimburse me for the order--let alone take responsibility for what happened. I have to warn those of you who go to the Merritt Island location--demand your order be handed to you at the window. The Viera Chicfila manages to do that with their very much busier location and they seem to also have a better car side delivery groove . Why can't Merritt Island be like them ? Avoid Merritt Island Chicfila as they are extremely unprofessional, not to mention unethical, because if something happens to your vehicle in their parking lot waiting for your order to arrive, which is caused by one of THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES, they will not do anything about it, and instead blame you the customer. Btw I asked to see the "lunging" on their video and was denied. I am taking this to small claims where I hope they bring their video. I will post the outcome here--stay tuned. read more

This place is amazingggg. The staff is so nice. The food ALWAYS comes out fresh and 90 percent of the time I get my food before I'm even done paying at the counter. The place is always clean and from what I've noticed multiple times I have been there, the coworkers all get along and always have a smile on their face. This company certainly has a system in place for moving a busy drive-thru along quickly but trying to get to the drive-thru line was a challenge. The entrance was blocked off to only allow vehicles out of the drive-thru, not to enter (at an entrance location) to get in line for the drive-thru. After maneuvering around an obstacle course of the mall parking lot I was able to get in line. Apparently this company only plans to service customers that have memorized their menu and prices. You are expected to place your order while driving (being herded) through a line of moving vehicles... to find that the only posted menu is 30+ feet past where I finished placing my order. Which, btw, is 2 feet before the cashier. Their waffle fries are not worth the hassle! read more

Time after time I keep going back to this place hoping it will be better. The staff is always nice but I have NEVER, not ONE TIME gotten exactly what was ordered. It's become a running joke in our household at this point "you get what you get". But yet we keep going back. Today was the nail in the coffin. We went for breakfast. Ordered two chicken biscuits with a side of chick fil a sauce and a side of honey. They left those out of the bag - round two through the drive through, get the sauces and go home. No harm no foul.
