We have eaten at many Cracker Barrel's over the years. This one seems to be where we tend to stop on our way driving south on I 95 from our home. We've eaten here a few times in the past. The food is always consistently good. The service is usually very competent. And the registrar person is always very sweet. Really nice Cracker Barrel with RV parking! We were visiting friends and decided that Cracker Barrel was a great place to meet. Not too crowded, great service, and a beautiful gift shop. I had the breakfast planter with scrambled eggs, hash brown casserole, giant chicken sausages and tomatoes. Of course as much coffee as I could consume. Dave had the grandma's platter, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham and bacon. Two pancakes with warmed syrup and fried apples. Wow! Ada was our lovely server and Blaine was her helper. One tender was burnt (presented burnt side down) and they all tasted like they had been reheated leftovers from last night. awful. So tough you could not cut them with a fork or knife. My okra was ok. Mac & Cheese never came and when I brought it to their attention the server brought me some to go. I will say our server was very nice and tried to make it right. We stoped here for lunch while we were traveling. It was very crowded but we were seated quickly and had our waitress who was very friendly come to take our drink orders right away. We had ordered their fried chicken which came with 4 pieces of chicken and two choices of side and your choice of biscuits or cornbread. So much food for a very good price and it was cooked perfect even their sides were prepared well. This is fun seating with so many things on the walls to look at. Tables are spaced well enough not to feel crowded. The noise levels were good so it was easy to have conversations. This was a great stop while traveling. Their store had so many things to look through and if you have to wait to be seated there are places to sit and wait outside. Plenty of parking and this place is located right off the expressway so it is easy to leave and to get back on the road. Their services is fast and you can even scan your receipt and pay from your table which is very convenient. Great place to stop while traveling. read more

Came here on a Saturday around 1pm with my family and boyfriend. We were driving back from Miami. It's kinda been a tradition that we stop at Cracker Barrel. It was also super close to 95. We were seated immediately, and the restaurant was pretty busy. Our waitress seemed really busy with tables but stopped by and said she would come back soon to take our orders. She was friendly. Cracker Barrel has added a bunch of new dishes to their menu. One of which was the garden scramble, which you could get with egg whites and I did. It came with two sides and biscuits and cornbread. My brothers shared the hot honey chicken and waffles which is also new. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and dumplings. Everyone seemed happy, their portions are pretty big especially with sides and the biscuits or cornbread. I prefer the biscuits every time, they are soft and so satisfying. I also got fruit and broccoli as my sides. Everything was fresh. I don't know if will stop at this particular Cracker Barrel as there are lots off 95 and don't have plans to go to Miami anytime soon but the good thing about Cracker Barrel is that is always consistent. I love Cracker Barrel, they are such a fantastic restaurant chain. One thing that I love is that Cracker Barrel is providing delicious food to all our hungry truckers around the U.S. who are on the road and in need of nourishment. Really a great stop when we're traveling. I had the fried chicken, corn bread, collards and green beans. Delicious, I am big fan of good fried chicken. The only problem this trip was how long we had to wait. We ordered and after 15 minutes, the server came back and said they ran out of chicken so they were frying chicken now. Well maybe 20 minutes later they served my chicken. Oh ya it was hot, fresh from the fryer. Our server was wonderful, and apologized for the wait. The chicken was delicious. I want to start by saying that I've had good experiences at other Cracker Barrel locations. Unfortunately, there is clearly something wrong with this specific location and its management. I previously had a bad experience here and even completed a survey afterward. I was told someone would be calling me to follow up -- and no one ever did. That already showed a lack of care from management. I decided to give it another chance only because a family member chose it for their birthday breakfast. If I have a choice in the future, I will not be returning to this location. The biggest issue is the cleanliness. The windows inside the restaurant were filthy, and the bathroom was just as bad. When the visible areas look that dirty, it makes you seriously question what the kitchen looks like. It completely takes away your appetite. I ordered the hash brown casserole, and it was crunchy -- like parts were overcooked or not cooked properly. The food overall was just okay, nothing special. But honestly, the appearance of the restaurant made it hard to even enjoy the meal. Other Cracker Barrel locations have been good in my experience, so this seems to be a management problem at this particular store. Management really needs to step up, address the cleanliness issues, and follow through with customer concerns. Until then, I won't be back. read more

Don't order delivery from this place. I ordered two meals using the Cracker Barrel website at 5:00 pm, which reported an expected delivery time of 5:50 pm from the local restaurant (7225 George T Edward's Drive, Melbourne, FL). The dinners never arrived. After making several phone calls to the restaurant and DoorDash, I was able to piece together what happened. The DoorDash driver showed up half an hour late. Despite the fact that the meals were certainly cold by then, the restaurant handed them over to him anyway. He left the restaurant by 6:02 pm. The restaurant assured me over the phone that he would arrive by 6:18 pm. I called again after that time came and went, and was assured that he would definitely arrive by 6:39 pm. Guess what? Didn't happen. I called the restaurant again. They made no effort to offer preparing the meals over again and attempt a second delivery. They said, "all we can do is give you a refund." It didn't matter that we were starving by that point. They couldn't have cared less. read more

Im going to start by saying that for the most part this cracker barrel Is good. Food is always good and prompt and the servers are always professional and polite. The font staff/ cashiers are also good except for this one experience. The member of staff in question has been pretty mediocre in the past but this takes the biscuit. We had some peg points to use as well as birthday rewards (two people both with close birthdays) the cashier at first succeeded to input the peg point reward but then in the process of trying to add the birthday reward somehow canceled the first reward and simply heavily implied that we just go ahead and pay. Super rude but I'm not even getting started. So now the one time we requested a manager because the cashier is clearly. A) inept, B) not interested in helping and finally C) clearly having a day and wanting to let it be the customers problem. Might I add its like 3:40 in the afternoon and there are maybe 7 tables in and no more than about 20 patrons. Its not busy and there is no one behind us in line. The cashiers co worker several times has suggested they call the manager/ supervisor which the problem cashier has ignored. So the helpful colleague decides to go ahead and do it. Helpful but due to a tech issue it didn't go though. So at this point the problematic cashier makes up some nonsense about how even though the reward for birthday's clearly stated it was active for some reason we couldn't use it yet. Complete lie as we found out because the manager was able to resolve it straight away but only after the original cashier had judged and huffed one of us Into simply paying because there are now 2 groups behind us. All the while the cashier is trying to find every possible way to make it sound like we are at fault as loudly as possible to the customers behind. Might I add that the server at the table was the one who informed us of these offers through the app. So an internet way to make you order "free stuff" and the pay for it. With that said it was clearly not the servers intention. Im sure the people higher up in cracker barrel would be delighted that the location staff cant be bothered honouring the rewards system thats been created. We don't need these "coupons" we just thought we would make use i of them. The issue is the principle of baiting you into ordering complimentary items and then just not following through. For anyone wondering this is not a case of trying to stack discounts that are not permitted. This is completely allowed. We know this because the manager took 12 seconds to find the birthday offer the inept cashier couldn't do. Best of all the cashier did not apologise or even just do their job they broke out in a slew of "oh but, I did, and its not my fault because " rubbish. Lets not forget the old add-age "the customer is always, at fault" I understand having a bad day but its always this one staff member being grumpy. We are semi regular diners at cracker barrel. So its not a one off. I get the idea its because we are younger than the average cracker barrel crowd. I'm tired of the regular tone of disrespect. The staff and food and other cashiers and staff as well as the manager are 10/10 but this was ridiculous. read more

I'm a southern girl, born and raised and my family always loved to visit Cracker Barrel on Sunday after church. A lot has changed since then, but one thing hasn't; my love for this restaurant. It's always a bit loud, the service is hit or miss, but it's welcoming. The food is always exactly what I want and expect and the country store is FILLED with delicious treats and snacks and fun little trinkets. Their fried chicken is my favorite! I haven't ever found a place with a better batter or fry and I try it most places I go. They know how to season the breading and IT.IS.CRISPY! Golden brown and so juicy. They finally have adult drinks too! I just love their seasonal menu with coffees and mimosas. This visit they had a bomb pop mimosa!! GO NOW! It's so sweet and creamy and I have since made them at home. The steaks are always OVERCOOKED so order a temp more rare than you usually want it and it should be perfect. I went to Cracker Barrel yesterday and it was one of the most disgusting experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. The chair was full of crumbs and the table was dripping wet and you could still see the outlines of where glasses had been. Worst meals we've had in a very long time. Pot roast beef was hard as a rock, could not be cut even with a knife, obviously very old, dried out and burned. Even the fake, super salty gravy could not soften it. And it was fairly cold. Probably in the freezer for a year. The 4 pieces of carrot were like dried up rubber. The green beans were not horrible, but very bland and swimming in water. The fried okra was the star, it was really good. The chicken dumpling soup was watered down broth with 2 small pieces of dumpling and little shreds of chicken. Tasted ok but sure could have used more ingredients. The pancakes were large and looked great but were super rubbery, must have been frozen and over-microwaved. Had to use a knife to keep slicing to get through the rubber. The sausage was weird, definitely not the pork sage patties we're all used to. Had to spit out the bite I had, tasted like something fake, lots of chemicals, maybe not real meat. Really bad, had a reddish color, hard and very over-cooked. Even the coke had to be sent back, it was so watery and flat. Our server was great, except she never asked why our plates were still full of food, ie was everything good (probably because she knew not to). There were only 3 other tables at the time, which was about 6 pm., and now I know why. Cracker Barrel used to be great diner food, but boy it has gone way down, all the way to the bottom. read more

Cracker Barrel is my favorite restaurant and this location did not disappoint! We had lunch here on a Thursday - turkey & dressing day! My mom and I both got the lunch turkey special and loved it. My dad got a large breakfast meal, which looked great as well. The portions were perfect and at a reasonable price. I don't usually like CB's dressing, but actually really enjoyed it at this location. Although they were pretty busy, we were seated immediately and our server was attentive and kind!
