On travels down to Miami, I stopped off to grab breakfast. This location is fairly close to I-95 and makes it convenient. We went inside and were the only ones there around 8am on a Friday. The ordering process was easy, and we grabbed a seat at the hightop bar looking out the window. The lobby was fairly large and very clean. I ordered a chicken biscuit, parfait with granola, and an orange juice. The chicken was a generous size and filled up the biscuit and tasted really fresh. The taste of the yogurt was amazing. I wish there was more fruit on the yogurt because it was sparce. I appreciate the bottled OJ. I was told the chicken minis and hashbrowns were delicious and crispy. This is the worst Chick-fil-A we have been to and unfortunately, is the closest location to our home. Every single order is wrong or missing something. It has become a joke with our family to guess what will be missing from our bag. Even the chicken isn't the same as the Wickham location. We call the Wickham location the "good Chick-fil-A" because it's that much better and they get the orders right. Just seems like there is also high turnover at the Viera Blvd location. One of the nicest Chick-fil-A's I've been too, really big too... My oldest son and I stopped in to get a quick bite to eat on our way to some other festivities for the evening. As always, the drive-thru line was long, the parking lot was sorta full, but the indoor dining area was simply not that busy. I was impressed by the relative friendliness of the folks working and more impressed by how quickly our order was delivered to the table. They are certainly super efficient at this locale. So why the 4-stars only? Well, I hate, actually, despise the fact that I have to go back up to the counter to get a refill of my drink. Other franchises in the area have the drink machine out where the patrons can serve themselves. Why not here? Makes no sense. They certainly have the room for it. So me and my family came here today hopped in the drive thru (a very long drive thru) around noon time. So because the drive thru doesn't utilize cones or a one way entrance into the line people coming from the opposite side of the restaurant are able to cut in front of cars that are already five or more minutes in line. I said something today to one of the team members taking orders about how many cars had jumped ahead of us already and was told "oh" and waved away to pull forward. I'm an app user so I typically order ahead but at this particular location the app says not taking orders due to inclement weather like every time I have tried to order here. Great place to get a meal in Viera. This restaurant is located on the south side of Viera Blvd just to the west of I-95. There is plenty of parking around the restaurant. We pre-ordered and picked up at the drive through lines. There are 2 of them with people taking orders before the window. The staff was very pleasant, the food was ready quickly, the prices were reasonable and it was delicious. Another Chick fil a restaurant holding the bar to the corporate quality. I had breakfast last week at this location and the first chicken mini I took a bite out of had a blood clot. The employee grabbed it with a glove took it to the back and came back to say it's a blood clot and I shouldn't get sick, she then proceeded to ask what I wanted. Never had an issue with this location and we've been coming since it opened. The workers have always been friendly, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes and I feel like if I ever had a problem this staff would work hard to rectify it. This shop just opened this week i think? I've been watching it because I go to the VA clinic nearby and I just saw that it was open yesterday. I had lunch there yesterday and again today. Yesterday's lunch I asked for an Ice Dream cone and when I pulled around to the pick-up window, they handed me a huge cup of ice cream. They said that they didn't have their cones in stock yet so gave me the huge cup (which was far more than I was able to eat) but only charged me for the cone. Today I went in and they were fast and courteous (as they were yesterday and everyday) but I noticed that they were having a hard time running my credit card. The lady asked me if I had cash and I said no and the manager said that's okay, lunch is on us! They gave me my lunch for free just because their credit card machine was giving them fits. I assume they were able to get it working because they soon had a long line. This Chick Fil A location was very clearly designed with traffic flow in mind, as there are 2 feeder streets that empty into the drive through, one street for the left and the other street for the right side of the drive through. The feeder streets are long enough to allow traffic to back up onto them but still allow neighborhood traffic to flow smoothly around them. The drive through pick-up window isn't a window, it's actually a half-door which allows for the free movement of the employees to walk in and out. Out front they have a large parking lot which the drive-through empties into so people can park and eat without having to stress about finding a parking space. They have many employees working the drive through which keeps it working quickly and smoothly; I have never had a problem with getting the wrong order or someone else's food like you would at other fast food establishments. McDonald's and Burger King would be well-advised to look to Chick Fil A for guidance in doing the drive through the right way. The only recommendation from this long time customer & fan is to maybe install some trash barrels in the parking lot? Or maybe they are on the way and just haven't been installed yet?
