My friend and I decided to come here for Cow Appreciation Day, and it was so fun to see how festively decorated everything was! I also loved seeing everyone else who dressed up for the occasion. So I visit Chick-fil-A pretty regularly, and after multiple visits to this location, I have to say: this place is not worth your money right now. Go to Raising Cane's or another Chick-fil-A until they get things figured out. The employees have been consistently nice, so this isn't about the staff. The problem is the food and overall execution. The chicken sandwiches have been consistently fatty, the fries are so overcooked they're almost like hash browns, and the salads are often missing key ingredients--like the fruit in the Market Salad. The yogurt is frequently melted, and the wait times are extremely long. This is a newer location, so hopefully Chick-fil-A corporate is paying attention to these reviews. I honestly think they need to send a trainer or someone from corporate to help get this location up to the company's usual standards. I'm not someone who normally puts much weight into Yelp reviews because they can be overly negative, but when a Chick-fil-A is sitting in the 2-star range, I think that says something. This Chick Fil A was not good. My husband and I stopped there today with our 4 and 6 year old grandsons. I had to go back to the counter 4 times. I needed the code for the bathroom, Let them know there were no towels in the restroom when we went in to wash our hands, that there were no toys in the 2 children's meals, and they only gave us 4 napkins. Plus it looked like the fries were from the bottom as they were all small pieces. Won't be coming back here. No one stopped by to ask if everything was ok. Recently came here with my little one for lunch. The high chairs came with cute disposable placemats, which seriously made feeding and cleanup so much easier. The kids' meal was great, and my LO loved the fruit cup and mini book. I also loved that the bathroom had a little cabinet next to the diaper-changing table, so I was able to put my diaper bag next to me instead of on the floor -- such a thoughtful touch! Went to this Chick-fil-A location this past Saturday around 2pm before checking into the Double Tree next door. I walked in and the place was spotless clean! I was greeted by a couple of different employees and I ordered the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich with their Waffle Fries. Everything was delicious, hot, crispy and fresh! But the service was very friendly despite how busy everyone was, and what stood out to me the most were the fresh flowers in the bathroom (which was kept very clean) and on the tables. Even though Chick-fil-A is suppose to be a quick fast food restaurant, this location delivered on its quickness, cleanliness, and friendly service. Shoutout to the worker here who added thoughtful details around the store such as a congratulation sign to the local high school graduates, a cute Monrovia Chick-Fil-A backdrop with polaroid pictures, and an appropriate amount of fresh flowers. Yesterday I went to Chick-fil-A in honor of teacher appreciation day . I went with my teacher badge and asked for the free meal deal . When I asked for the 8 nugget meal , I was told they only offer the sandwich meal . So I said ok at least it's free. I asked for the regular sandwich . Then I was told I owe $11.66 . I then reminded the team member I wanted the teacher deal . He apologized and gave me a number and I waited for my food . Once I was called I then asked if the meal comes with a drink . I was asked for my receipt . I then again said it was for the deal and then got a drink . Once I got home to eat I realized I never got fries with the meal also . We never have any issues with our food. When Nick is there in the am everything runs so smooth. He is great at the window and on top of things. He's a people person, you can tell he loves the interaction with people and is very personable. Chick-fil-A should be grateful to have an employee like him. I have gone other times and everything is okay but nothing like the morning for Breakfast. We've never had any item missing. I was on my way to pick up my eldest daughter from school. I needed to use the ladies room. I was in the Monrovia area at the time. I said where can I stop for a restroom break. While, everyone is having New Year's Eve parties or dinners with the family, I decided to change things up and have Chick-fil-A for dinner. Wish Christmas and New Year's Day falling on Wednesday it felt different this year compared to others. So instead of going to parties to kick off the new year, my wife and I decided to do something easy and calm. Grab a quick bite and go home to just relax. The Chick-fil-A is fairly new and has all the amenities that you would expect. The cashiers were courteous and the tables were clean. We walked into the restaurant at approximately 4:30 and were surprised at how busy it was. I guess everyone had the same idea of grabbing a quick bite and heading home. I ordered a chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries and my wife ordered a chicken sandwich with the side of mac & cheese. After placing our orders, we sat and waited for approximately five minutes before our names were called. The chicken sandwich was freshly prepared. The buns were soft, and the patty had a nice crunch to it. I ordered mines with extra pickles and the tanginess of the pickles definitely enhanced the spices used on the chicken patty. The waffle fries came straight out of the fryer and was piping hot. I need to wait a bit before I started to snack on the since they were so hot. My wife loves the Mac and cheese at chick-fil-A. It's nothing too special. I guess she likes it because it's her comfort food. Overall it was a nice experience. The ambience is nice for a fast food restaurant and the real flowers on the tables is a very nice touch. Parking was easy and plentiful. They do have disabled and clean air vehicles closer to the entrance but the clean air spots were taken. For the Pokémon Go players, sorry to report that there are no spot or gyms in the area. There are spots and gyms a block away by the BJs down the street. Hopefully they add a spot soon. I ordered 2 southwest salads and when I got home, there were no dressings. I ended up just using ranch I had at home instead of driving back. This Chick Fil A opened this past April and took over the space where Claim Jumper was. Also located in the same area as Double Tree. The layout of the drive thru and parking made available is definitely better than some other Chick Fil A locations, as the cars in the drive thru don't block cars that are parked (like the location in Azusa, for example). Anyways, my husband and I decided to try this new location yesterday afternoon, around 1 pm. Although the drive thru was pretty busy, inside wasn't. We didn't have to wait to order our food, which was: Chick Fil A Chicken Sandwich, $5.75 each, prior to tax- We both got a chicken sandwich and decided to order it without butter on the bun. One of our sandwiches had pickles but the other didn't (we didn't request to have the pickles removed). I actually prefer to have the chicken sandwiches without the added butter since the chicken patty itself is pretty oily (I actually drain it on napkins before hand). The batter and seasoning on the chicken has always been pretty tasty and this location is consistent with the other Chick Fil A eateries that I have been to. ---------------------------------------- (Total= $12.68 after tax) Customer service was okay but could have been friendlier (as I have experienced very friendly service at the location in Azusa and San Dimas and other locations as well). Staff workers were constantly keeping it tidy and even stopped by our table to ask if we needed any sauces or drink refills. The food was hot and fresh! The fries were cooked to perfection. I have been to this particular Chick-fil-A on numerous occasions however, at a previous visit, my son had picked up dinner for us when he got it home It was not what I had ordered. I immediately called the store and spoke with the manager who said that they would be more than happy to replace the sandwich to just give them my name on my next visit. I said fine. The drive-through is like a a slalom with various bollards and taped lanes which are quite confusing.
