The bread was perfectly toasted, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything had a ton of flavor without trying too hard. What really stood out to me was the balance. Sometimes sandwiches are all bread and no substance -- this was the opposite. Every bite hit right. And then they throw in a side salad too. You can choose between a green salad or Caesar salad, and the guy recommended the Caesar. Glad he did because it was actually really good and made the meal feel complete. And no, I'm not saying all this because they gave me a free drink for my first visit or because they threw in some mild pickled peppers that absolutely elevated the sandwich to another level... The staff overall just seemed like genuinely solid people. Weird thing to mention maybe, but every successful place starts with good people, and this café has that feeling.
