Came yesterday to pick up online order and was instructed to come inside because their system was down for all online. The cashier lady managers and help were very friendly and helpful with getting our orders to us and correctly. Chicken sandwich was nice n spicy. We ordered the minion combo. The banana frosty was good but needs to mix it a lot. Or you'll end up with a lot of syrup on the bottom. The restaurant was decked out with minion stuff and decor, the staff wore a bunch of minion stuff which was fun to see. This is concerning the drive thru service. This visit was a clear example of poor process and even poorer accountability. Our order was taken without any prompt for sauces, and when we reached the window, we were rushed through with no opportunity to clarify only to then be told, "next time just tell us at the speaker." To be clear, I am a paying customer, not an employee. It is not my responsibility to accommodate staff disorganization or guess when I'm allowed to speak. If sauces are part of the order and such a delay to request, ask at the speaker (as many other fast-food chains do successfully) or ask at the window instead of abandoning the customer mid-transaction. When chili sauce and sour cream were requested, only one item was handed over, as if attention to detail were optional. Speed does not excuse inaccuracy, and dismissiveness is never acceptable. This experience felt rushed, careless, and avoidable. Basic communication and accuracy should not be this difficult, especially when customers are paying for a service. It's just a Wendy's, but you should do better. read more

Horrible services very poor costumer services starting from the person Julie whose the one that got my order in the drive thru to the manager Kathy whom it's soooo rude and very unprofessional. Personal laughing on the background and speaking Spanish when you ask then for the name of manager as well as receptionist. This Wendy's location, once a reliable favorite, has fallen into consistent decline. On our most recent visit, the female window staff was incredibly rude and inattentive, leading to an incorrect order and a complete failure to provide condiments, napkins, or our receipt. Service was extremely slow and unprofessional, as if they were inconvenienced. The food items were slopped together. I haven't had Wendy's in a long time, so I stopped by and had lunch. Is in a nice area in Monrovia, in a shopping plaza with plenty of restaurants, banks (Chase and Wells Fargo), Vons supermarket. Is right on the corner, you can't miss it. When I walked in, it was quite and super clean, there was only one customer eating, so I ordered a chicken sandwich combo with a doctor pepper. While I was waiting for my food, the manager was walking with the cashier girl, making sure the eating area was clean, is funny, the manager swiped her finger across the table as they are walking and she said this table is dirty and the cashier said she just cleaned it lol. Then the man said " see the stains ? nothing to do, huh? " funny. Then the manager was pointing out the smudges on the glass window and the cashier said, there's a mocos (Spanish for boogers) on that one lol. The employees are hard workers, I saw the drive through employee emptying the trash cans while there's no customers, he wore plastic gloves, now that is a great example of hard working employees. He should be employee of the month. After a couple of minutes, my food was ready. The chicken sandwich wasn't what I expected, it has shredded lettuce instead of one whole piece like on their menu picture, the chicken was steaming hot and crunchy which was good. It kinda reminds me of the $1.99 chicken sandwich at McDonald's but with a piece of tomato and 2 slices of pickles lol the fries was good, it seems like I either got the crunchy bits and is extra crispy. I dipped those suckers in the ranch dressing, everything is good with ranch lol. Overall it was a good meal, the restaurant is super clean and well kept. If you sit in the back corner, you could see almost the entire plaza, eat, drink, check out the employees lol. Thanks for the great customer service. I went there last night for a Chicken Sandwich. It was the 2nd. time in four days, again to get a chicken sandwich. Both times I noted that they have changed the lettuce they use on their sandwiches. It used to be they would use fresh leaf lettuce on their sandwiches. It looked fantastic and was always fresh, adding great flavor and crispness to The sandwich. Now they are adding shredded head lettuce, not fresh at all, adding nothing but trash to the sandwich. This is a classic case of less for more. I know prices are up, but if one piece of leaf lettuce on your $8.00 sandwich is too much, then you need to just close up. Their lack of quality (and obvious disrespect for their customers) is on full display here. The next sandwich I buy from them with old shredded lettuce on it will be the last one. Almost $9.00 for trash is not a good deal. If I wanted something like this, I would have went to Burger King. Which has a better chicken sandwich right now. I can't believe this is a corporate decision, most likely just local cost cutting. At this point the only reason to go there is for A Frosty, and they have become expensive also. Okay so let me paint a picture. It's late I just got out of work and stop at wendy's for a couple of frosties. While there I decide might as well order a burger too. The employees got the order wrong single to double (a quick fix). But the girl at the window was acting odd, she said something like "ew gross I can't even look at that." to her co-worker (a dude) who appeared to be doing something on the counter but i couldnt see, and I asked what she meant by that and she said it was nothing. I get my burger after a sec, go on my way. Get home and eat it, noting it had waaay too much sauce on it, and was more bland and soggy than a daves double out to be. Start feeling a little queezy when a thought catches me 'what if he spat in my food?' and thats why she said that. So I looked up what spit taste like and it described exactly what I thought about the burger I just ate! So to say the least if there was spit in my food one star, if there wasn't then the combo of that odd interaction and too much sauce really introduced the concern. I ordered baconator fries and found chili cheese fries when I got home. Previously I ordered baconator fries and got it no bacon. I am a morbidly obese individual so they apparently wanted to give their garbage bland tasteless chili fries to what appears to be a human garbage disposal. Man, i used to eat at this Wendy,s location all the time when i lived in Monrovia. It is in a busy shopping center with cars coming in and out here. I went to the drive thru for the first time becuase there is so much parking here as to as i do not have to drive thru. Service is good here since they have young people that like their job. They got my order right of the Big Dave bacon burger in all. Wendy's also have good fries. Nice to visit here again. read more

Wendys food is great I hardly go to them because there is not many around near me. Ordered online today on my lunch break. Grab my food and eat it in my parked car right outside the Wendys. Once I finished I took my trash and drink cup inside and grabbed a refill on the way out. Then the manager lady goes up to me to tell me that there is no refills unless you eat inside. I have been trying to taste and compare the chicken sandwiches from different fast food places. Here I got the Bacon Jalapeno Chicken Burger, the Spicy Chicken Burger, and Spicy Chicken Nuggets. The Spicy Chicken Nuggets were good but nothing special. The Bacon Jalapeño Chicken Burger has a lot of good ingredients: bacon, jalapeños, and chicken and is quite tasty. However it is so heavy that I got sick of it after eating half the sandwich. In addition you can barely taste the chicken. The Spicy Chicken Burger is a good sandwich. Bread and chicken are good, but just a little too much spread. read more

I made an online order, picked it up though drive thru, was told to pull forward but only up to the door so that I wasn't blocking the window but I was still blocking the person in behind me? So when they brought my food out I was obviously in a hurry to leave so the other person could get out too. In my hurry I realize they forgot to give me my frosty so I turn around and get back in the drive thru again. They ask me for my receipt, which I can't find in the bag (Because they gave it to me before they gave me my food so it had fallen separate) so I tell them I don't have it. The manager then comes over and re-prints my receipt, only for her to smugly inform tell that I didn't order a frosty. I was confused, as I was confident I had ordered one since I ordered it as part of my 10 piece nugget combo. I explained this to her, only for her to say "Maybe the app is having an issue? I don't know what to tell you. There wasn't any mistake; I did the order myself. That's what came up on our system so there isn't anything we can do," in a snide tone. At this point I was annoyed, but I really wanted a frosty, so I paid for another one. However, not being able to shake the feeling I was right, I pulled over and looked for my receipt until I found it behind the seat. Sure enough, there it was right on the receipt: MD CHOC FROSTY. So I return AGAIN to the drive thru, show them my receipt, and ask them to give me the frosty I paid for along with refunding me for the other frosty I bought. Same manager comes back out to do my refund and makes me GIVE THE OTHER FROSTY BACK, like are you serious?? Unless you're breaking health codes I know you aren't going to serve that to anyone else, legally you're supposed to throw it away. So she literally took it back just to be petty. Or she served it to another customer, which is gross considering I could have done any number of unspeakable things to that frosty in the 5 minutes between when she gave it to me and when she took it back. Super fast drive through! Came to try the new southwest chicken salad and it was delicious. I don't really have much on an expectation for fast food salads, since the lettuce tends to be wilty and the toppings are underwhelming. This one was superb. I was there on New Years Eve about to get in line for the drive-thru when I was held up by an elderly customer who was struggling to get off the sidewalk and to their car. There was an employee (a young man), assisting the customer and being super sweet and patient with them. I wish I had gotten his name because he deserves recognition for going above and beyond for that individual. Never ever did a review for a Fast Food International Chain, but here it goes. This Wendy's on Foothill has the most polite considerate employees that always greet you with a smile. The manager in the morning is on point and has a great staff supporting her. The Super Friendly Lead cashier is always incredibly delightful and warm to help you start your day. I am very sorry I forgot her name, but her smile is infectious. She is the Black lady that usually works the Drive-thru window -Incredible Human being... I recently saw an extremely rude customer that was playing "make a scene game" to get Free Food. Manager was spot on and handled the issue in textbook fashion. I also had a few incidents with Homeless people trying to loiter in their dining area. It was about 6.5 months ago - Manager fixed that.. This Restaurant is always busy, always clean, and always quick with your order. I would never write a review for a Fast Food franchise that serves burgers unless it was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, but I feel the staff there need a Kudas for their professionalism and incredible effort to give exceptional service. If Wendy's wanted to show a new Franchisee how to run a location, this would be the #1 choice.
