The Temecula location always messed up the orders. My family no longer goes there anymore. We didn't have a problem with this place until now. probably the worst service i have ever received from any chick fil a and the one in chino is pretty bad. Tina the cashier was terrible through the whole process. At first she didn't ask whether it was dine in or take out. After we ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a regular. I told her i had a spicy chicken sandwich on my chick fil a that id like to redeem and she told me to scan my phone but it never went through on her end. after sitting for about 10 mins i hear the employees calling my name for take out when we said dine so our food was partially cold. Its been a while so I thought I'd give Chick-fil-A a try. Big mistake on several fronts. First I ordered a Spicy Chicken sandwich combo and had a free coupon for a brownie. I was FORCED to order at the drive through with a not so bright worker in a mask (appropriate) holding an ipad of sorts. I asked for the combo and paid with a card right there. I was not allowed to even see the menu board prior to ordering. The total was $9.67 including tax. Seemed kinda high for a chicken sandwich meal but, ok. Then as I drive past the menu board I see the price is about $8 for the combo. HUH? I get to the pick up window and ask the girl what gives with the price increase. It literally takes me 5x asking her 5 different ways why I was charged so much. She says "I guess you're just lucky". Wow. Horrible customer service. The fries were cold and the chicken burnt around the edges. Oh and the free brownie! Terrible! It wasn't even thawed from being frozen. I took one bite, spit it out and tossed it. The diet coke however was cold and refreshing and the only good thing about my experience there. I had a problem once before at this location. The last two visits my boyfriend and I has gotten terrible stomach aches from eating their sandwiches. The first time I woke up with terrible stomach pains. A couple weeks later the second visit during the pandemic, my boyfriend had to call off from his essential job. I did notice two things from both visits. We order the spicy chicken sandwich and it was not even spicy. Secondly, when we open the sandwich package it did have a unusual smell. Went to chick fil a today.. and they were out of sauce. Not just any sauce. Chick fil a sauce. The best sauce they have!! It was a bit of a bummer but when I pulled up to the window they gave me a free salad and Mac n cheese. Which was pretty nice. Was I bummed they didn't have their signature sauce? ABSOLUTELY. My family decided to get dinner here tonight, and we placed a mobile order for drive-thru pick up. I work at another Chick-fil-a down the freeway, so I am very familiar with how these orders are supposed to be handled for drive - thru pick up. Not only did the young man working the line brush us off and tell us to wait until we got to the window to put it through (maybe he didn't know how?)- for a simple mobile order might I add, nothing more- but it was a 20-30 minute line. At the window they had to scroll through and place our order through, and then sent us to go wait. After another 20 minutes waiting out front, we got our food with a brownie thrown in the bag, and that was all. Not once did they come check up, or seem to uphold the same customer value perspective that I know we are taught while working under the CFA name. BUGS! BUGS! BUGS! I have been coming to this location for quite some time, but this morning will be my last. I am absolutely disgusted. Found this little thing in my spicy chicken deluxe sandwich today which I immediately brought up to the suppose "manager" who was a younger blonde girl. She asked me if I wanted another sandwich. Really? I told her I wanted my money back, I was not comfortable eating here after finding a bug in my sandwich, making me question how sanitary their kitchen is. I was then directed to another manager (a Filipino lady) who just glanced at my sandwich and immediately threw it away, quickly gave me change and a receipt. Not even a formal apology. Just a here you go and have a nice day. I was livid. I was not going to start a scene being a Saturday morning with multiple families in the restaurant. What made me even more angry was once I looked at the receipt she only gave me a refund for the sandwich not even the whole meal! I paid $8.31 for deluxe meal and got only 4.74 just for the sandwich? K, there a few ways to break this place down. First the food, I really like it. Yes its fast food but it tricks me into thinking it is healthy fast food so that's a bonus. I really like their grilled chicken club sandwich. The waffle fries are good too, not too heavy and not all greased up to goo me up if you know what I mean...they aren't cheap but I am cool with that and here is why... Customer Service; they are definitely the nicest people I have ordered food from and been helped by...even in the drive thru! Positivity: They are a Christian business and have as part of their core values that everyone who comes in contact with their business have a positive experience. That is a statement and its one they have lived up to for my family. So whether you are personally Christian or not...you will benefit from their core values. TIPS: 1. You need to ask for a sauce, the sandwiches don't come with one. But they have a variety and they are good! So you get to customize your sandwiches. 2. You can substitute fruit cups for fries. Great for the kiddos and the fruit is not donkey at all. Fresh apples, grapes, oranges and strawberries. Pretty nice. 3.Tuesday is Arts and Crafts night! Bring in your kids and they get to do arts and crafts, plus you get a free kids nugget meal with purchase of a regular meal. Free food is always a plus. 4. After a failed attempt to eat at a super busy burrito place in San Diego I was left wondering what would be my last meal in California for this past trip. Wasn't in the mood for Hodads or more carnitas. Then I remembered there were Chick Fil A's in California. I chose this location because it was on the way back to Las Vegas. The drive thru was super long and the way traffic was I just wanted to grab the food and get back on the road. I came in to order and despite it also being super busy inside ordering and recovering my order was quick. A young gentlemen took my order and was super nice. I had mentioned it was my first time ordering Chick Fil A and he hooked it up in the sauce department. Gave me a few extra of chick Fil a sauce and bbq and ranch just to have options. I like options. I went with the Spicy chicken sandwich and added bacon and cheese. At the moment I'm not consuming caffeine and after going to the car and coming back to replace my dr pepper with sprite my cashier remembered my name. To say the least I was impressed with the service i received here. I was even offered free coffee or iced coffee as they were offering it for the month of February but I'm not consuming caffeine at this time. For fast food this is about as good as it gets. The chicken was juicy moist and seasoned wonderfully. I was a bit disappointed it wasn't as spicy as I would like but I enjoy super spicy foods. The waffle fries could have a bit more salt but no big deal. The only thing I regret is not ordering more and eating it later. Chick Fil a will be on my route every time I come to California. I love this place. Everyone there is friendly and takes pride in what they do. The place is always packed which makes me not want to go there but they do try and get you through the line as quick as possible. They added staff out there to walk to the lines and take your order. The only issue I really have is sometimes they give me sweet tea instead of unsweetened. That being said, I will and do get over it. Also, they are closed on Sundays. Good for them BUT why do I always crave their food on Sundays? Haha. read more
