Sat in drive they 20 minutes. I acceptable for chick fil a. It was not lunch time or dinner. Middle of the afternoon. Staff was relatively friendly. No issues there. Once we got back on highway I realized they had my order wrong. Receipt was correct but the wrong sandwich was given to me. read more

This was a lovely lunchtime dining experience! Chick-fil-a employees are all friendly and go above and beyond. There was a young man standing by the door with an umbrella, offering to walk people to their cars since it was raining! The cashiers were amazingly nice. Our order came promptly. Everything just felt clean. The place was mobbed with families and kids, probably since it was raining, but I didn't even notice because the indoor playground seems to be in a soundproof room! I don't have kids, but if I did this would be a great place to take them on a rainy day! The food is always reliable. I'm amazed by their selection of sauces- my favorites this time we're the chick-fil-a sauce and the sweet and sour sriracha. I also loved the avocado lime ranch on top of my salad. Yum! read more

This is the most efficient and well coordinated drive through I have ever been to in my LIFE! I consistently come during morning rush and they are always instituting new practices to get you in and out of the line faster. They staff is always beyond helpful and polite as well, something to definitely highlight in a fast food establishment. I've also never (knock on wood) had any issue with my food or order. I sometimes use the app to mobile order ahead of time and sometimes just order while I'm there in line. Either way- ZERO disappointment. They are amazing! read more

I don't go here as often as I'd like to (I live way on the other side of town and I hate the traffic on 200) but when I do I am always very satisfied with them. Yes sometimes the line is long...but it's worth it and they are quick. Today I went and got up to the window, got my drinks and they had me pull forward to a parking space because the chicken tenders were still cooking. Which I was completely fine with. I didn't mind pulling up and it ended up being a quick wait. The reason for my post is because when the lady came and brought me my food she saw my license plate (US ARMY) and asked if I had been in the Army, I told her yes and she thanked me for my service. Even though this is not something huge it still made me feel very special. She recognized my license plate and thanked me and it truly did make my night. I wish I remembered what her name tag said...but I believe she is a manger of some type. read more

What can I say, I love Chick-fil-A! So much so, I've actually designed a tattoo of a cow holding the eat more chicken sign. Ha, I kid, I kid. I'm going to share a secret, no matter where you go, they're consistently clean, the food is hot and fresh and the employees are always sweet and kind. You know their humble saying, "My pleasure!". Whilst on a road trip down south, the family decided they wanted to stop at Chick-fil-A. I honestly didn't want another day of feeling guilty, I'd had Chick-fil-A for the past three days prior to. Ugh! I'm not sure why but we decided to go during the lunch rush. Yea, the lunch rush, the rush where they have the orange cones out. Yup, the rush were cars are wrapped around the building. Of course, what were we thinking? Not me, I'll put this on my family, I wasn't driving. Instead of going the drive-thru route, we went in and you've guessed it, crowded! Chick-fil-A in its finest hour, packed with individuals BUT they keep dishing out the food, left and right without missing a beat. I don't believe we were in there more than ten minutes from start to finish. When we received our food, you could see the grease stains on the bag, that's because everything had just been pulled straight out of the grease! They know the way to this mans heart! I'm sure many of us have had great experiences but I wanted to give kudos to the way the staff managed that rush with such tranquility. Thank you Chick-fil-A operation, I love you. read more

I've been here before but this wasn't ordinary. I went yesterday around 1 to 1:40. It was very busy and I understand the rush. But I was given undercooked chicken and now I'm sick. The chicken was chewy and tasted weird. I got the number meal with a large sprite then an 8 count. I've been throwing up and having the worst pain in my stomach/uterus area. One of the worst Chic Fil As I've been too. Service is extremely slow especially for walk in, and they don't even have dine in available still. The place is completely dirty, shocking for a Chick Fila. The cashier will take your order and just let you stand there for 15 minutes before you have to ask where your order is ... when nobody else is even in the store. The drive thru was 20 deep, I was the only one in the store and that 20th person got out before me, wow. read more

Along with hundreds of other folks stuck on the Turnpike today for 5 hours (fatal accident this morning) we were lucky to stop at this restaurant (Howell Mills in Ocala) once we were able to get moving. There were so many people in line but that was no problem because there was a very conscientious employee, with a tablet, taking orders. By the time one paid for their order, your food was ready to go. : ) We only had to wait a few minutes for our delicious chicken strips to be delivered piping hot, to our table. I noticed that EVERYONE behind the counter was working at warp speed. Not one idling individual could be found! Kudos to the Manager of this Chick-fil-a!! We will be sure & stop in again when traveling South. Maybe some other stores could take some Customer Service lessons from them! read more

Last three times I visited Ocala I ate here-breaking my rule of NOT eating in places where I can eat at home. Unfortunately (or fortunately if using my waistline for perspective) there isn't a Chik-fil-A near where I live in Jersey so I use that little justification to order the greatest fast food sandwich in the country...Yeah, I said it! This isn't the best Chik-fil-A I've been to, but they are some of the nicest people I've ever encountered in a fast food restaurant. The last time I was there I convinced my Mom to join me there for lunch (the previous trips were my last stop before jumping onto I-75 to go back to the airport) and I recruited her into the Chik-fil-A fan club. As with any fast food joint or chain restaurant, if you give me consistency and good service I'll happily give you 4 stars. Fail in either category and you get hammered. As you can see from the four stars, this place is another example of consistency, HOWEVER, for some reason the size of the chicken breast on the Chik-fil-A sandwich seems to be smaller here than in other places I've eaten. Maybe it was bad luck (not every chicken has the same sized breast) and I just got the runt of the litter. I'm willing to try again the next time I'm down in Ocala...it will be tough to force myself to eat there and I'm sure you'll all pity me, but I'll take one for the team. read more

Stopped by for breakfast to go on our road trip to Alabama. We had chicken biscuit meal and chicken egg and cheese. The chicken biscuit good as always while the chicken egg and cheese not to my liking so ate each half separate which was much better. Service was quick and friendly. Bathrooms were clean. I love Chik fila. I've been lucky enough to have one around most places I go and this one is no exception. The restaurants are all kept so clean and the workers actively clear tables as they are used. Though the crowds are always high, the turnover rate is great due to the great service. The bathrooms are kept wonderfully clean and are visited regularly by employees. The food is prepared to the standards I've been used to. The food is delicious and always well made. I would recommend this restaurant to any lover of chicken. The service is wonderful like all their restaurants, heir employees are polite, and their food is second to none for the price. read more

Ive been to many Chick fil A's in many different locations as I travel a lot for work. I've never had a bad experience in any Chick Fil A until today. I ordered a Cobb salad and waffle fries. The fries were cold and half the salad was rotten lettuce. I brought the salad up to the counter to show them but the manager was in the back room. The young man taking orders went to the back room to get the manager but she never came out. He told me she was informed about the bad lettuce and this was the second complaint they received that same day. Manager never came out, no refund or complimentary item was offered. And all the tables were dirty and trash cans were overflowing. Inexcusable and there were plenty of employees on the premises but half the time they were on break. Absolutely terrible. I won't be back to this location and I'm Ocala very frequently. read more

Stopped through for lunch on a road trip and this location was popping! So busy nonstop!! It didn't slow down either there was constantly a wrapped line and they had little poles with ropes up like at a theme park to keep the line orderly. I was impressed at how well it was managed. They had two employees in the lines taking the orders on iPads so when you got to the register it was ready to go and you just had to pay! So efficient! I also noticed outside at the drive thru they had an employee standing between the cars and the window handing the orders and they had a condiment cart next to them for convenience. Most Chick-fila's are known for their good customer service but this one excelled! Side note: they also had little vases on the tables with real flowers. What a cute touch! read more

Listen, the food was great. I have no complaints there. HOWEVER, something really bothered me. I drove up to the person at the drive through who takes your order, let them know what I wanted. 12 count chicken nugget meal with ketchup for my sauce. I move on. I arrived at the window to receive my food, and I was ASSAULTED by the sound of a Becky (early-stage Karen) SCREAMING through the drive through windows at the two boys handing out the bags of food. She was upset they had turned to face away from the customers (to grab the bags of food off the window ledge, mind you). I was more upset that this manager - a younger, blond haired woman - was berating the two boys VERY loudly, than I was about them turning away to grab my food for me. All this time, this very up-tight manager is AGGRESSIVELY shoving food into the bags, helping out the girl behind the counter. Funnily enough, I didn't receive the ketchup I asked for. So from my customers perspective - and as someone who has worked fast food -- that manager needs to make sure she's not doing a subpar job before berating others for something a customer doesn't care at all about. read more

My family and I were on our way back from seeing the 'mouse' in Orlando and the kids were requesting dinner. I looked at my trusty Yelp app and found a Chic-Fil-A near by. This would be our second of three stops at a Chic-Fil-A on our 7 day voyage. This is a review of this location and several reasons why we keep coming back to this franchise: As I so often experience with Chic-Fil-A restaurants, this one was packed. Looked like a lot of locals (not just tourists traveling through) so I knew there were repeat customers. I guess this goes to show what good food and great customer service will do. The accommodations and food were just as expected. This is the reason we keep coming back. This location's staff were friendly and the meal came out promptly. Everything was top notch. Why we love Chic-Fil-A: 1. Customer service at Chic-Fil-A is always amazing, and when I say amazing, I mean amazing. There isn't another fast food restaurant out there with better service. 2. The food is great...if you're into chicken. Their Original Chicken Sandwich is their signature piece. They have a saying that states, "We didn't invent the chicken, just the chicken sandwich." I tend to agree with this statement. My children love their waffle fries. Most every occasion, their fries are crispy with just the right amount of salt. If fried food isn't your thing, they have more healthy options on their menu such as a grilled chicken sandwich, grilled chicken nuggets, kale salad, etc. 3. The reason we chose to dine here so much is that I have five children (and they all love it). If I were to ask any of them where they would like to go out to eat, unanimously they would suggest Chic-fil-A. Kid recommended...parent approved. If you are a family, you can't go wrong with Chic-Fil-A. Friendly service, good food, and kid recommended. If you are someone looking for fast food and you want a place that you will most likely enjoy...again, this is the place. It's chicken...and fries, but they do it as good as anyone else. As we were traveling with our dog on a hot summer day, we got the food to-go and ate in the parking lot. Standard quality that is thankfully predictable at a Chik-fil-A. The food is always great here. I never have a bad experience but tonight left a little to be desired. We had a mobile app pick up order and it took a lot longer than expected, however, I know that was in part due to the amount of other people doing the same thing. The part of my experience tonight was at the point we were at the head of the line and several cars behind us were getting their orders and we were still waiting. We didn't have a large order. Then, upon looking inside, we see employees playing ping pong in the lobby while we're waiting. I get everyone needs a break and they all deserve one, but maybe don't play ping pong where your waiting guests can see you. read more

Mixed greens? no way. their description of what they charge $10. for with one packet of dressing which is nowhere near enough and nothing short of a bad joke. this inferior, overpriced nonsense is an insult to a Cobb salad. where are mini eggs grown for this for which there are 4 mini, paper thin slices? i could not find hide nor hair of bacon. i think i saw 2 corn kernels. maybe with a microscope you could find a few micro 'pieces' of what they call cheese. chicken is mostly breading which makes the company a fortune. this were a couple of grape tomatoes and mostly cheap iceberg lettuce with a few miniscule pieces of a slightly darker green lettuce. dehydrated, charred red peppers are overloaded with salt. no other possibility of vegetables. only nasty waffle fries on their 'so called' menu. typical, pitiful, extremely unhealthful American fast (trash) food. this fare is surely what keeps heart surgeons in operating rooms bypassing all the fatty deposits in people's arteries. if only there was fast food that was actually healthful. if only.....jersey gurl read more

I've never had a bad experience at this Chik-Fil-A. You know the food is good when the inside is always full and the drive-thru is wrapped around the building. They have employees outside working the drive-thru to make it faster. I've never had to wait long no matter how long the line was. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and never had anything I didn't like. This is the best fast food you can find! Don't let a long drive-thru line discourage you.
