I realize I've been on a 5-star streak, but I really can't lie and say that Chick-fil-A doesn't deserve it for what it is, and for the sheer joy it brought me on Saturday. I was driving around a million places. Baby was fussy. She finally fell asleep and I did NOT want to get her out of the car. I understand that game. By the time I pulled into the parking lot on Center Ridge Rd., I admit it. I was desperate. I was so happy they had a drive-thru (I'd been counting on this, but realizing it might not happen). There were a few cars ahead of me so I had time to decide what to get. But I tried to play it cool and not stress it. Am I the only one who gets stressed out at a drive-thru if I've never been to the restaurant before, because there's not enough time to look at the menu? I think it's a valid concern. First of all, I need to see what they have. Then I have to make a good decision, because I can't change it once I've driven past the order window. The service at Westgate is always that at which one would desire. people greet you when you enter and bid you farewell when you leave. I have frequented this place since it opened and would like to comment on a couple things. First, it is always clean and a delight to eat at. Second, the food is always great, whether it is quality or a recommendation. The last thing is the manager they have there. I have met almost all of them but the best is Xhulja or Julia if you ask about it. She is always friendly no matter how stressed she is. My son loves Chick-fil-a and every Wednesday after swimming lessons he requests it for dinner. The staff is very polite and although they are usually busy the drive thru line moves fast. Wow, I was extremely impressed with my first visit to this Chick-fil-A today! The restaurant was probably the cleanest I have ever been inside. The menu was very easy to read, ordering was a breeze and our food was ready so quickly that I didn't even have time to turn around and get a straw before it was on the counter for us. This location is very child-friendly. We had 3 adults and 3 toddlers today. It was no problem getting enough high chairs and seats together. I loved the free little sticky place mat that was provided...so cool. The fruit cup that comes with the kid's meal is fantastic: oranges, strawberries, apples and grapes. My daughter ate that in a minute flat. The chicken is obviously very good. Even the kid's chicken nuggets actually look like real chicken and not something processed. I was very surprised when a cashier came around and asked if we needed any refills. The staff was extremely friendly and called all of us moms each "ma'am" which was different from what we are used to. Lastly, I realized I didn't specify that I needed a prize-toy for 3 and under. I took the comic book I was given up to the front and was told I could either get my daughter the toddler's board book or a free ice cream treat instead. It was really nice to have options and for them to let us know what choices were available. I recommend this to parents for sure, who would like to eat out and be moderately healthy. This location is really great too because the line is never too long, they keep things moving really quickly, and they anticipate your orders really well. It's also very clean and as always, the employees are super friendly. As for the food, I'm a Chicken Deluxe kind of girl. And while it may seem like blasphemy, I actually really enjoy the side salad instead of the waffle fries. It has these yummy roasted red pepper crispy things and more than just lettuce! I love chick-fil-a, but this one definitely stands out above the rest! The staff are always so friendly and definitely go above and beyond. They all seem to love their jobs and really want to give every customer a great experience. They bring your food out to you, take it away when you're done, and check on you throughout the meal. At any given time, there is usually someone cleaning all parts of the restaurant. The kids that I nanny love to come here to eat and play in the play area. The only complaint I've ever had here is that once while we were there they made all of the kids stop playing to clean the playground. It's good that they keep it clean, but we were given 10 minutes notice almost right after the kids started playing and they were very disappointed. The food is always great and the restaurant is always so clean. I also love that they give you free refills on drinks. I semi-frequent here for my lunch as I work nearby. The staff is always quick, courteous, and professional. The managers are kind, always active, and I see nothing but smiles. This makes me want to come back time and time again just to enjoy the unique experience of a welcoming fast-food place! Today in particular, they had lines waiting a full house, and were behind on pickup orders because of a computer error that caused the orders to be erased before they could be created. I like to go here because they have a kids play area. So we try to arrive at 10, play for a while, then get lunch. This is a pretty typical schedule for someone with kids. This location has decided to clean the play area at 10, though, so when we arrived, we were promptly asked to leave. I was in the neighborhood so I went to go get some Chic-Fil-a, I usually like the place. However they messed up our order and we didn't realize it until we had returned home. I called them to try to get my money back/see if I could get the rest of our order from the restaurant closer to me they wouldn't allow it. So I said I would go back to the original location but would like to add two milkshakes to the order via phone, they wouldn't allow that either. Stating that I would either have to wait in line again for the milkshakes or download the app and order it from there. Since I didn't want to drive back for just the fries I tried to see if I could get my money back. I called the service center and they said that I could only redeem the fries at that location, seeing as I don't live around here but am around for Thanksgiving it doesn't seem as though I will ever receive the fries or my money back, they basically robbed me. For the multiple calls and time driving to the restaurant I lost about an hour or more of time just for them to tell me that I could drive back for the lost fries, no additional benefits for the trouble that they put me through. I thought I would at least get like a $5 gift card to recoup my losses. Terrible customer service, both people at the location who I talked to on the phone would not allow me any compensation for my troubles and extra driving time so I counted the whole experience as a loss. Took 30 minutes to get to talk to a representative and he would not offer me anything for my troubles although he was much less abrasive. 0/5 stars for me, I used to be a big fan of chic-fil-a, I always thought they had good customer service until I went to this location. I usually only come in later in the evening but Cox line was ridiculous so I came over to grab a quick bite. My girlfriend got nuggets fries and a coke. I got a spicy deluxe combo with a small chicken noodle soup and cheese sauce for my fries. We chose to dine in after waiting for a little over 10 minutes they bring the food(longest they've ever taken) my sandwich is totally wrong and it should have been called chicken flavored carrot soup I had a piece of chicken and two noodles. My gf takes the sandwich back and BOOM sandwich is wrong again terribly put together cheese ice cold chicken warm enough lettuce for a salad a single pickle! Shall I continue? I dress the crap sandwich the way I like it and bite into it because I'm hungry and tired of waiting at this point. Two bites in third bite in I'm done now highly disappointed my late lunch ruined I clear our table go to toss it and BOOM both cans over flowing with refuse. I look over at not 2 or 3 young employees but 7 of them 2 whom should've at least tried to look busy. I have worked in the food service industry for years so I understand a lot.
