I was disappointed today. I've not been in a Chick-fil-a in years. So I thought I'd give it a try. Although I was amazed at their system of getting the orders at the drive thru. Lines were extremely long. They do how ever need help in the kitchen area. I had got a chick-fil-a sandwich but the only thing on it was 1 slice of pickle. I mean seriously? After I got to my destination I pulled out my sandwich and began to ponder. Do I really want to go through all those lines inside or out to fix this? NOT, so I just ate a really dry sandwich. This wins for the rudest and most incompetent chick fil a. Seems like there are a bunch of 15 year olds running this location. Walk in, 3-4 staff members sitting at a table chatting, ignoring customers. Finally ordered, girl behind the counter seemed like she was having a bad day. Chick-Fil-A located in Central Mall, honestly, was good when it was first opened. It seems that over the years the service has gotten worse, the phrase, "My Pleasure," isn't what is on the lips of the teenagers who work there, and the chicken is over-cooked. I love Chick-Fil-A, I truly do, but the Central Mall location in Texarkana has truly fallen. I prefer my family to eat Chick-Fil-A over other fast food restaurants and am saddened that all of the above has happened. I do believe that these are issues that can be resolved, but it would take the right kind of manager (like the ones that went to the stand-alone Chick-Fil-A found on Richmond Road) to get the restaurant back to the friendly service, good eats it once was. read more

I have been a loyal customer for as long as you have been in East TX, about 40 years. Chick Fil A has always been one of my favorite resturants due to your great food and just as important your friendly, courteous, professional staff. But this week I had an awful experience at your store in Texarakana (the one just north of I 30) When I went to order I was in the right hand line behind another customer, there was one of your wait staff in the left hand line without a customer, when I looked at her she turned her head and just starred straight ahead as if I wasn't there, after a minute or so the customer in front of me turned and said the register to the left was open your waitress continued to stare straight ahead without speaking. I turned and asked if her register was open for a split second she gave me the most hateful look I have ever seen and then gave a half smile and said yes. She took my order and everything else was fine. I want to complain about racism on your waitress part. She was a black girl nicely dressed with neat blond braids in her hair. This is not the first time I have been discriminated against by black people in AR and that part of TX. Ironically a couple of hours before I stopped for gas in central AR where I had stopped at a couple of years ago and noticed that a Kentucky Fried Chicken store in the conveinence store had closed down, that brought back memories of when a black person refused to wait on me. read more

Tasty food and great service! We always stop by here when we are going through town. We have never been disappointed!

Often coming here more than once a week for a quick lunch, this is easily one of the best establishments in Texarkana. The food is always exemplary, but is bested by the service. The people working here are always extremely nice and helpful, and often come around to give refills or see how your food is. Because it's often pretty packed of people, the app is very helpful if you only have a small lunch break, and they will carry your food out to you. Overall, if you want a good, easy lunch, here you cannot go wrong. 5/5 stars. read more
