I came to this location because it was listed as "good for kids," and I was hoping it had a playground. Thankfully, it did -- which is great for traveling families who look for places where kids can play. One thing that stood out, though, was that someone had left a drink sitting in the playground area. One of the kids even mentioned it had been there for a long time, which makes me think the play area isn't being checked or cleaned as often as it should be. Inside, the bathrooms were dirty and had a strong odor, which was disappointing. My order was also incorrect even though I specifically asked for no bacon. The positive side is that the manager and staff were kind enough to remake my meal, and I appreciated their willingness to fix the mistake. read more

Unfortunately the women's bathroom was visibly very dirty. It looked as if it does not get thoroughly cleaned, just trash picked up and surfaces wiped. There was built up grime in corners in the stall and sink area. It clearly wasn't just from a busy weekend. From reading a comment 3 months ago this is an ongoing issue. As good as the food is and as nice as the employees are it's so frustrating when all you want to do is look at a menu and you have a worker standing 100 feet before you are there to kindly take your order. Some of us would like to read a menu. Some of us are annoyed by someone asking for our order before I even know what I want. Today I didn't purchase anything because I was rushed to hurry up and pick something when I couldn't even see the menu. Please give people the option to read the menu. The line wasn't long. I decided not to fight the crowds on opening day at Chick-fil-A. Instead, I fought the crowds today and waited in the long line of the newly opened restaurant. For those of you not familiar with restaurants in Greenville, SC, any and all new restaurants will be crowded for at least three to four weeks. I decided to give the drive-thru a try today and though the wait was long, as always, Chick-fil-A delivered on a solid breakfast. The chicken biscuit was cooked perfectly and they have Coke Zero Sugar, so it's a win all around. There are other places I will visit on occasion to get a biscuit, but I'm very pleased to have a Chick-fil-A close by so we can add this to the breakfast rounds. read more

Also I've seen so many people confused on how to go left to park or stay straight for drive through. They still work very hard to get you in an out very quickly. The employees are second to none in the fast food world . Although it's the second day of opening they are so efficient I had no wait. This is the absolute WORST CFA in the state. We live in Travelers Rest and we love CFA but we will NEVER go to this one again. 4 visits in a row have be horrible. Rotten fruit in the fruit cups on two separate visits. The rest of the food is mediocre at best. Luke warm fries. SLOW SLOW service and some extremely rude employees who don't seem to care about the customer and hate their job. We placed a mobile order hoping this might work better but we ended up waiting 15 minutes for our food and it was not fit to eat. Best Chick-fil-A around, or best overall place to eat around. The prices, the wait times, and the calories are pretty low. The staff is always friendly, especially Jacob Whatley. Update: My 2nd visit was better than the 1st, but still room for improvement. Maybe they were just overwhelmed the 1st time. Food was great, service was decent. Still some unsupervised, misbehaved kids in the play place though. Some were over the height limit. I'd like to see some enforcement here, as it's not as safe for smaller kids. Blocking the tunnels, going up the slide, sliding down too quickly and crashing into smaller kids below. The parents aren't parenting, so management at this location needs to step it up. The reason why I took the time to find this specific chick-fil-a out of hundreds (or thousands, I don't know) is because I saw something incredible. It'd be a waste of space to mention how lovely the staff and the atmosphere is because this is chick-fil-a and we love cleanliness and chicken. This cfa and only this cfa offered 10 piece chick-n-minis all day. Let's repeat this: for the month of May, this magical place where travelers go and rest offered 10 piece chick-n-minis!!!!!!!! 2 things: first, you can't get chick-n-minis after 10am. Second, they come in smaller quantity and never 10. If you aren't convinced that this is a big deal, there is this article that explains why chick-n-minis are the absolute best and top of the crown jewel at cfa. I got myself the original chicken sandwich with chick fil a sauce because I read the sign as I was leaving. But I left with knowing that I had the option that I thought was impossible. read more

This is the first time I've ever been disappointed by Chick-Fil-A. DO NOT USE THE DRIVE THRU HERE-- you will be in line for 15+ minutes. I know this is a new location, but they desperately need to get a handle on the drive thru situation. NOTE* If you must use the drive thru, use the outside lane. The inside lane does not move because the outside lane cuts the distance that the inside lane can pull up to the speaker. Clearly not the fault of the staff here, but I hope that they will notice the issue and get some people outside to expedite the drive thru experience . I've been there about 3 or 4 times and usually it's alright. I get they're still going to have the long lines because it's still new. I'm not really worried about the line since I wouldn't go there if I was in a hurry anyway. However, today I went and it was around 7pm. The parking lot was just absolutely disorganized. People cutting me off when I'm not even in the drive thru yet. ANYWAY, I ordered 2 large meals with ranch, Chick-fil-A sauce, and honey mustard. I got to the window, they only made one of my drinks a large. As they were resolving the issue, I asked if the sauces were in the bag as well and the cashier said yes. So I left. I get home and they only gave me one pack of honey mustard, and one pack of chicfila sauce. Obviously one pack of each isn't enough for 2 large meals and plus they left out the ranch. That's not it. The fries were cold and my boyfriends chicken felt like it wasn't done all the way by the texture of it. Like that rubber chewy feeling when chicken isn't cooked enough. My nuggets were also cold too. Overall a poor experience, but that was the only time it was THAT bad. We were both starving so it just really sucked. read more
