The food was hard as a brick, everything was cold, I didn't get the drink that came with the kids meal.

The past 3 times I've been here. It's been awful. The workers are disrespectful and will throw you whatever they've had laying their all day. This time I'm annoyed and I'm gonna make sure I go out of my way to avoid this one in TR. They gave me bo rounds half cooked. They forgot the sausage on my sausage egg and cheese biscuit just gave me cheese and egg... I payed for 2 large meals on the receipt but only received regular sized meals... and they charged me extra for a milk that I didn't ask for and didn't receive. It's not the restaurant, it's the workers they hire that act like they don't care. They would rather make it sloppy and sit on their phones then do what they're getting paid for. The food was absolutely delicious, the best it has been at the Bojangles in TR for a while. The only thing that went wrong was, it was not what I tried to order. Beside the miscommunication everything was spot on. The food was hot and the side items were correct. After a few visits I have some updates. This is a fine bojangles so long as you come at an off hour. Otherwise service is slow, ordered objects (such as dirty rice) are unavailable. Fast food is just awful to begin with. It has degraded over the years to absolute garbage. That being said, I enjoy the occasional chicken biscuit at a Bojangles. NOT THIS ONE. I was traveling yesterday, and I stopped here for a quick bite on my way home. I got chicken tenders with honey mustard. What they served me was like the sole of a shoe. I'm not even sure there was any chicken in the tenders. It was like breading that was made of rubber. Had I not been driving, I would have demanded fresh ones. I came through the drive thru this morning around 9:20 am and the lady taking our order would barely let us get a word out to complete our order. she was missing a whole item on our order and when we told her she huffed and puffed and rolled her eyes at us even though her whole crew told her we did say we wanted that specific item. Even at the window she would barely let us get a word in. A honest attitude check would be her best bet for morning time service or switch to the evening shifts , because after that I did not even want the food and drove off . When the kids are in the mood for biscuits, its really hard to beat Bojangles. Today my daughter and I are home together while my wife takes the boys to a Kuk Sool Won tournament. My daughter asked for Bojangles, so Bojangles it is. First let me say, Bo Rounds I could eat a ton of these things. Round hash browns of heavenly goodness with onion bits inside, mmmmm. The Bo Rounds are always crisp with a moist interior and a fantastic onion flavor, love 'em. Next up we have the Cajun Filet Biscuit, this can be hit or miss. When both the chicken and the biscuit are cooked correctly, this is by far the best breakfast biscuit money can buy. The Cajun Filet has Cajun spices in the batter so its not a standard bland morning affair. Bojangles biscuits have a crispier exterior with a tender interior, usually a very repeatable experience. If you want a quick biscuit for breakfast I would certainly give Bojangles a try, just remember to get the Bo Rounds. read more

If there was a minus 5, I'd use it here. I placed an order online today at 3:45 for a 5:00 pickup at the Travelers Rest location, received a confirmation e-mail and receipt for my payment, the proceeded to go to the location at 5:00 to pick up my order. At the window I was told "the store is closed". I told the obviously aggravated young lady that I had an online order, to which she said "we're STILL closed". I said that my payment had already been processed, to which she replied "well, I guess you'll just have to go online and cancel it". No apology, no reason why the store was closed mid-afternoon on a Sunday, very rude and condescending. My business will go to ANY competitor at this point. read more

This is absolutely the WORST Bojangles' in South Carolina. It's always understaffed and the few people they do have working don't know what they're doing, don't seem to care and would rather be anywhere other than Bojangles'. Don't even consider going after 3 pm. They will be out of chicken or it will be old and crusty left over from lunch. The sides will be old and cold and you'll wait for 20-30 minutes to get nasty food. Horrible and disgraceful. And they just spent a lot of money remodeling the whole restaurant. What a waste. SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED A LITTLE SOMETHING TO FINISH IT OFF! Did you ever eat a meal that just didn't do the trick and you need just a little something more to finish it off? Well, I felt that way today and was in search of a little snack. As I am passing through this small town, I see this restaurant and decide I should stop and get some wings. It's late afternoon and I don't just enter and actually have to stand and see how this works. Are they using gloves? Does that chicken look fresh? When she cleans away the serving area will she toss it on the floor or throw it in the trash? It's all good so I move to phase II. The employee was too busy to be unnerved by my creepy behavior she just said hi and asked me how I'm doing. After she offered to assist me, I simply told her that I was still deciding. I see a couple of ladies lunching and I go over to ask them if the chicken is good and if it is fresh. They nod eagerly as they continue to tear into their food. Okay, I'll bite. I just wanted a snack pack with three chicken wings and nothing more. However, you cannot purchase just chicken here because everything is packaged with sides or a biscuit. I was able to get two chicken wings and a biscuit so I settled for that. The biscuit is very heavy so you may want to skip it. The wings on the other hand were fresh, crisp and not greasy which isn't always the case when it is past the lunch hour. Since this restaurant is adjacent to a major expressway, it probably gets a lot of visits, which means fast turn over of chicken so that you always have a fresh batch available. The drive-thru window was indeed very busy during our afternoon visit so just keep this in mind when visiting. If you enjoy fresh fried chicken and great service, you should stop by! read more

Normally I love Bojangles and they do a very good job at getting orders out quick. Today was different. First they messed up my friends order multiple times while we waited almost 20 min. He finally decided to stick with the wrong order so we could get out of there. Second, when I finally got my order of which I ordered the bo rounds. The older gentleman serving the food up front struggled to get my bo rounds into the bag and they fell onto his bare hands. He then proceeded to use his still bare hands to pick them up and put them in the bag. How is this okay??? The back of the restaurant also looked hectic the entire time and had no idea what they were doing. Keep in mind we were the only ones in line. We will not be coming back to this location. read more

As is the case with ALL Bojangles these days, the order was wrong and got no receipt.

I've been here at least a half dozen times in the last year and have always been missing items I ordered. They're on the receipt but not in the bag. This morning I went through and noticed they forgot a gravy biscuit I ordered. I went back through and got it. I got home and realized we were short a chicken biscuit. We got lunch from here today and we order a 12 piece family meal they only gave us a 6 piece with most being wings we called back and manager told us to come an she will give us our other 6 when we got up there she gave us a whole 12 piece fresh an all thughs an legs any other time we never have issues. First time at Bojangles. 2 piece meal Chicken was pretty spicy and very good although not piping hot. The biscuit was Fantastic and the coleslaw was the best I have ever had. The mashed potato's were only so so. It's definitely a dated location but the workers very friendly and helpful. I would recommend. And make sure you get the coleslaw!!! read more

I arrived at the drive thru at approximately 6:00 PM Friday, 9/20/19. There were several cars in front of me and the employee said "I'll be with you in a moment." That was no problem. 12 minutes later I said "Hello?" The employee said "I'll BE with you in a minute!" I waited several more minutes, then drove off and went to KFC. Not the first time this has happened. Next time I'll drive to the Taylors location. Not the friendliest, but at least I don't have to wait forever. read more

I would like to preface this unfortunate review by saying that the young woman at the drive thru was very friendly and our order was correct for the most part. We ordered three of the breakfast combos; two with which we ordered coffee. The young woman asked if we wanted a beverage holder which was very helpful indeed. However, whoever was in charge of pouring the coffee today was not taking into consideration how piss poor South Carolina roads are because they filled them to the brim with scalding hot coffee, and didn't even put in the cream or sugar I asked for. Once we got home, my poor grandmother covered in coffee, we enjoyed our biscuits and Bo-Rounds. When we got to the Bo-Berry biscuits, however, we realized we didn't have any forks in the bag. It was a pretty irresponsible visit today, honestly. I think management might need to go over basic drive thru procedures with the team. read more

Very good Bojangles experience! I brought a group of 9 and we were all served in about 15 minutes - and all of our orders were completely correct! 7 of the 9 were brand new to Bojangles and all left completely satisfied. I always recommend the chicken supremes and seasoned fries and you can't leave without eating at least one biscuit. They also had Boberry biscuits two for a dollar, so we walked out with plenty to get us through the rest of the week! read more
