Shame on you franchise owners and double shame on you managers for being so ridiculous and not training your peeps. Honestly, they could give a masterclass to Zen monks on how to remain completely immune to the concepts of customer requests. Clearly, management needs to teach these poor souls that the sun actually continues to set past 4 PM, and it is entirely acceptable to have dip cones ready to serve. Instead, it feels like they are waiting for a secret, magical corporate signal to begin working. If you like your dining experience with a side of zen-like tranquility where time stands still & you can't get what you order, this is the place. However, they should have had enough staff on hand to handle both the regular business in addition to the party. Being that it used to be a lumber business, I did think the building was really neat. My wife got pulled pork which was not fresh. It was obviously re-heated from a prior day. Had a weird aftertaste. The best things were the buffalo spring roll appetizer and the milkshakes. The waitress did discount our order due to our dissatisfaction with the food. This was good customer service. The dirty trays were never removed from our table. The trainee could've easily done this since she was hanging out at the bar talking for most of the time. This isn't necessarily her fault. This is a training and management issue. This place should be packed every day it's open. It was less than half full when we were there for dinner. This is probably due to the bad things we experienced. Management needs to step up. You're robbing yourselves, your employees, your owner and your community of something good.

I was a bartender and server for years. The female staff of this place are lazy and more interested in gossip than in their customers. I wish one of the men here would have been my bartender rather than the two women who didn't know what Tabasco sauce is or the one who told me that they "just don't have a need to have it!" I could recommend many other places to go to in or near this neck of the woods. The Roadhouse is doomed for failure on its current course of mediocrity in both food and service. It thrives now because there is not much else for competition. I'm not to sure how close my usual order is to the gargantuan, but i do know it is NOT the same thing, I don't care if it's cheaper. nobody should try to redirect a customers order and than continue to think that their own opinion on a sandwich is going to be the same as sombody else's. the sandwich I have doesn't have the onions I really like, and there's somthing else that's missing to that I just don't know how to describe. Other Then me ordering a sandwich, rejecting a recommendation and still getting the wrong sandwich, the whole other part of the experience was regular, she was friendly at the window, but at the end of the day she still thought she knew what was best for me. Which is just not acceptable especially when a customer declines it! Even if it was cheaper, isnt the point of a buisness to make more money, not try to save customers money? Even if you only just work at or for the buissness it's good to support the own place you work at, because allowing customers to pay almost $20 for a sandwhich brings in more money, the more money the buisness makes, the more raises are able to be rewarded, like come on‍
