Terrible service, I ordered my food ahead to go through the express lane because it was dinner time so I knew it would be busy. I get through the express lane and am told to park so I do just to wait 30 minutes in the parking spot with no food. I had to ask someone who was helping someone else where my food was and I guess they didn't have my order because he had to ask me what I ordered. Okay, so we ordered breakfast at 10:26 with no problem and paid. We were almost to the window until an employee came to tell us the tragic news...they ran out of breakfast and weren't supposed to let us order breakfast. This was a lack of communication between the people inside and the people taking orders outside. This is only one of a few chickfila visits I came out unsatisfied. They did give us two sandwich meals but they also gave us false hope. I'm not saying I will never go to chickfila again, but I will never forget how close I was to my chicken minis. The people here were very friendly. Thats the good news. I'm new to NC and this was my first visit to a Chick-fil-A. Ordered a #2 w/fries & a coke. Maybe the worst chicken sandwich I've ever had. Tasted like a frozen Tyson chicken sandwich that I had nuked at home. Wendy's, KFC & Carls Jr/Hardees chicken sandwiches are much better. The waffle fries were luke warm and limp. I love Chick-fil-a! They always provide great customer service. Polite workers who go above and beyond. Food is served hot and fresh and if it is not ... No problem they will fix it and usually give you a coupon. I like that during busy times they have employees taking orders outside in the drive through. It makes the lines go much faster. My experience here on September 29 2018 was the worst. The employee in the drive through line started taking my order. However, when she realized I was a gay man, she started making excuses as to why she couldn't complete my order. She learned of my sexual orientation via conversation. 1. She says they don't have anymore chick fil a sauce. 2. She tells me her iPad died and asked her coworker to come over and complete my order. Afterwards, I watched her go to the car next to me, take and complete their order. So I call the store from my car and asked if they're out of chick fil a sauce and the manager told me no, they have plenty of sauce. I explained to him that not only did his employee not complete my order, but she also lied and said they were out of sauce. I'd heard this franchise behaved in homophobic ways, but I'd never experienced it. Needless to say I'll never ever spend money with this franchise again. Very disappointed. My grandfather went to pick up chick-fil-a for everyone and went through drive through. He asked for chicken sandwich no pickles (there were pickles) then also asked for 4 sauces, even confirmed at window while getting food! (There was absolutely no sauce) to make it all even worse in the chicken sandwich a hair was cooked into it! I didn't feel like cooking and the middle cub wanted Chick-Fil-A so I obliged. The drive thru lines were kind of long, but they moved pretty quickly. The only thing I think that may have been annoying and possibly slowing up the drivers at the pickup window, was the fact that there was an employee standing outside of the window taking the payment and handing out the food. Which to me was pointless because if you're already at the window with the cashier it's easier just to hand it directly to her versus through another person. Normally go to this place and have no problems. Once, I Asked for a plain grilled chicken sandwich and they literally gave me a plain grilled chicken filet. Naturally I had to ask for the missing bun. Odd, considering I get this order all the time. Hopefully won't happen again.... Update 8/7/18: this time they just gave me the regular chicken sandwich. Best experience ever!!!!! I even jumped the line because I made a online order already that was ready to be picked up and they still had my food ready for me. I would give them -5 if I could!! The person taking my order made me repeat myself, so she had twice the opportunity to get my order right! I get my food and I got a kale salad instead of a regular salad and none of the sauces I asked for. This may be one of the best Chick-Fil-A locations I've been to. It's the one we frequent most since it's near our house. We also choose this location because the service is fast/friendly and the food seems to taste better than other CFAs. Although the drive thru lines get pretty long, they move them along fast. They're always friendly when they take your orders and if they've made a mistake (I got the wrong sandwich once), they fix it quickly. The people are polite and the food is pretty good. I find the fried chicken to be a bit salty, but every soccer mom, gen Xer, and millennial in town eats there several times a week it seems, so maybe it's just me. There is more traffic in the drive thru than on Capital Blvd, but they handle it better, so don't let the line of minivans scare you off. read more

Chick-fil-A is my favorite fast food restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff is always so friendly and helpful, and it's a great place to stop on a trip or when you don't have much time. I have never had a bad experience at Chick fil A and they always have impressive service, but the Wake Forest location is especially impressive. The workers are always friendly. However, what especially impresses me about this location is that they do get very busy (at all hours of the day) but you never have to wait in the drive thru line very long. They have it all down to a science and they move customers through very quickly. Rain or shine, cold or hot, workers are outside taking orders and handing out orders to keep things moving. Great job! This place was incredibly busy but the staff kept great attitudes with smiles and eager responses to customers. I also noticed staff taking initiative and offering help and or suggestions to customers to make the experience better. I used the mobile app on my iPhone to order and the system worked very well. When I arrived I touched the "I'm Here" button and before I could sit down someone came out with my order on a tray and asking for me by name.
