We asked for another to go plate for another in our party, whose food was served in an open cardboard tray. The girl at the counter gave him a small paper bag. When we pointed out that onion rings and chicken wouldn't fare well in a paper bag, she said, "We have to charge for the cardboard boxes." Fine. Do it. Better yet, serve the meals in a box or tray that can be closed in order to carry out the leftovers, rather than an open tray. Just don't act like we're trying to steal from you. That's insulting, and won't soon be forgotten.

The sweet tea is good southern sweet tea. My other friend got "Bacon Hamburger Fries. Steak fries topped with chopped up hamburger patty, bacon bits, melted cheese, and ranch dressing. This is their regular order, and they never can eat it all. They have also had a hamburger here which they said was really really good. They also have chicken wings, salads, and fish. And they had dessert but we were all too full to have any. The restrooms were labeled "Roosters" & "Hens". The Hens room was clean. I think I shall return to the Big Chick and hopefully I will be able to try dessert on my next visit.
