    Closed Chickenbox

Super upset. I loved the Chickenbox but today they said my order was complete when they were closed. When I tried calling multiple times, they wouldn't answer. Super unprofessional.

I had come and ordered takeout from here a few times... and tonight's experience was unlike any…read moreother. It was my first time doing karaoke and I honestly don't know that I would do it again. We booked a karaoke room for an hour for 6 people on a Thursday evening, and while the singing was fun, the service was below subpar. When we arrived, we did not have a full menu available to us in the room, so it took a few mins to get our order in. Our server kept close tabs of every minute in karaoke, but not the food. It took over 60 minutes to get our wings! Apparently there was some sort of mix up in the kitchen & while we were understanding, what threw us for a loop was that even though our wings were DELAYED, our server was hesitant to offer complimentary time in our karaoke room while we waited. Right at the 60-minute mark, he was quick to offer two options - our wings to go or a table in the dining room. In the end, we had to negotiate an extra hour in the karaoke room since our food took SO long to come out. When paying the check, we were surprised to see a charge for food we never ever received! I'm super disappointed that they tried to take advantage of us, when we were very understanding of their mix up. In my opinion, servers could use a lesson or two in customer service. Never in my time in hospitality, have I ever behaved in the way they did.

I dared to try the cauliflower wings (half & half), which actually wasn't bad. Both flavors was good, although I personally like the spicy better (just make sure you can handle it, although it won't be too bad if you're used to spicy food). Garlic fried rice was okay, but not the best. Also seems like they don't give you a side of pickled radish at this point, but maybe that's because we're in Jersey. Also the kimchi fries weren't what I expected. What the fries were crispy and tasty, they just give you a tiny cup of kimchi cheese sauce. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I expected the fries to be way more loaded. I ordered for pickup and it did take a lot longer than expected. I also felt sorry for the hostess, who was running around trying to help. There also was 5 people just standing around chatting, but the music was just a tad too loud to hear anyone trying to get their attention. I'm sure dining in would be a chill vibe, but can still have that and have it all together yk? Last thing is I definitely asked for bacon mustard sauce and heard them confirm over the phone, a bit annoyed they forgot that!

Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken joined the roster of new eateries in Westfield last year and I've gone…read morea couple times since their opening and I can happily say that they are a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. Like many businesses on this block the restaurant is relatively long but a bit narrow (compared to an eatery like the nearby Vicki's Diner). To the left is the counter and kitchen area. To the right is a row of seating and there's more seating towards the back. The rest rooms are all the way in the back. The walls feature beautiful paintings including celebrities like Dolly Parton. It is a very bright and welcoming. Street parking is almost always packed. I would recommend parking at the nearby Municipal Parking instead (basically behind the restaurant). Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken features a fairly simple menu, focusing on chicken wings, wraps and salads. I have tried examples of all three and they were all fantastic. Their wings are perfectly crispy on the outside but not dried out on the inside. Their various flavors deliver as advertised (and to my taste, none are particularly spicy). Their wraps are gigantic. I can't imagine still being hungry after eating one (if that's your entire meal). If you have it with something else, be prepared for leftovers. Finally, there are their salads which I often get with grilled chicken. The chicken is always cooked perfectly. Most, flavorful and cooked through. The salads also come in containers the size of your head. I've never ordered a salad here and not taken some home. It's awesome. The staff at Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken is always friendly and open to answering questions about their menu. Food also comes out very quickly, so no issues with service. I really enjoy my visits here and will definitely go back soon!

Better to eat it hot - like eat there or on the way home lol . It's just not the same when you wait till you go home or have it delivered in my opinion. I feel the same way about pizza :)

The restaurant is full of customers, my order gets marked off as ready while I'm in the store. No one ever calls the name, and I wait patiently for my turn in line to ask them about it. They prioritized in store orders over the mobile pickup orders which kind of makes sense but it's building my dissatisfaction. It takes an extra 45 minutes before I get to the front of the line and am able to speak to someone. First person heard my order and went back to work without saying anything. Another worker came by, I believe it was the manager, and said "oh I had that order." I made a comment that I've been waiting so long and no one ever called the name, I can hear the frustration in their voice where they're sorry it was buried. I didn't want to ruin their day by making it a big deal. But i only had 2 items, some nuggets and fries, and I waited an hour. I understand the workers are understaffed and overwhelmed but this was on a level that I think this location should not even be open. I will not be returning to this location and I can't recommend anyone else go here
