Friendly American guy owned the place. Funky hip atmosphere. They're still working on designing it I gather since there was someone working on the POS and another guy installing a speaker in the corner. They have swings inside which is always fun. A nice place to take a break from the beef palooza that is Argentina. The chicken was ok. I should have ordered the teriyaki sauce as that was the best flavor they had. The wings were pretty small to me but I'm not sure if that's just cause I'm a fat ass American whose used to GMO Hormone injected big birds. Regardless it's enough to hold you over for a main course. Walking into chicken bros we were welcomed by the owner! I'd been wanting bottomless mimosas since I'd arrived in Buenos Aires and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price, 300 pesos per table, roughly 15$usd so split amongst friends it's perfect! The bird bro sandwich was flavorful and filling. The vibe is energetic and fun! I believe a lot of English speakers frequent here but I wouldn't call it touristy. I returned a second time for happy hour and loved the spicy polloclos, boneless wings. We had an odd experience with the bartender making the incorrect drink, realizing it and admitting error, but not making a new drink. The concept is nice, who doesn't like fried chicken and beer? The beer is okay but if you like golden crunchy fried pieces of chicken this is not the place. The food we tried was terrible, everything from the edible nachos to the not edible polloclo, small pieces of tough chicken fried in a terrible batter and then drenched in a sauce(buffalo original) that is so off its incredible. In general, to fry something in batter and then put it in a sauce that makes the batter soft and mushy is a bad idea, something they clearly don't understand here. They don't know the difference between ranch and blue cheese dip, Every single time I order a fucking 10-piece they always show up with the same little milky sauce that you cannot even tell if it's either blue cheese or ranch (which could be deadly for lactose intolerant individuals as me). the honey bbq sauce is a big no-no! I really wanted to leave this place a great review, but after being blatantly lied to by, who I suspect is the owner/manager, my view was drastically changed. I've been twice, each time receiving good food. The breakfast sandwiches and bottomless mimosas are definitely worth it and the boneless wings were even better than expected. However, I ordered the happy hour special of 2 Jim Beam and ginger ales for a promo price. I watched the bartender pour Bacardi, but when I asked her she insisted it was Jim Beam. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and tried it but knew it clearly wasn't Jim Beam. When I took the drink back and asked the owner/manager he took a portion of it to try. After trying it he told me it was clearly rum, and then asked what the problem was. When I told him I ordered Jim Beam he quickly changed his opinion and said it actually tasted just like Jim Beam. I like it slide and finished the drink. For my second drink (of the same thing) they got the whiskey right, but while it was being made I chatted with the owner/manager. When I tasted it I pointed out to him that I had been correct with the first drink because the second drink 1) tasted like Jim Beam and 2) didn't taste like the previous drink. When I made this comment he admitted "the last drink did taste off, like it was diet or something different." Naturally, I wasn't impressed with his response. I countered that the first drink should have been made correctly, to which he responded "well now we know *insert laugh*". Honestly, all of the food there was good and both drinks were good. But despite the quality, the owner/manager blatantly lied to me at least once, but probably twice. If you want good food, go for it. But if you want an honest staff, I'd suggest elsewhere. read more

I love the sports bar/cafe vibes of this place. Went at 4 and they were serving brunch foods!! The dirty bird was amazing (chicken & waffles) and the presentation was a plus. This place often shows US sports games on their projector and it gets packed so make sure to go early. There are bench like seats, bleacher like seats and even swings inside. I have visited Buenos Aires Argentina three times and love the local culture and cuisine but sometimes you just want a little slice of home. We found Chicken Bros on Yelp and decided to give it a shot, I'm soooo glad we did. The wings had a good flavor and was a much needed change from the steak steak steak rut we had gotten ourselves into being in a steak and meat heavy city. The fries with cheese and bacon where also amazing. You have to try the little potato stuffed balls...I don't remember what they are called but they have cheese, bacon, jalapeño and potato all mixed into one little amazing ball of goodness! We spoke to one of the owners who is from the US. Very nice guy and fluent in both Spanish and English, making it very easy for English speakers. If you're looking for a break from non-stop steak, Chicken Bros is a must! Even if you're not needing a break from steak, you should still check them out. read more
