Tucked away in a trendy space of West Dearborn, Chicken Kraze is a must try! The recommendations and service we received when selecting what we wanted was top tier and much appreciated. The decor is fun and inviting. The spicy classic chicken sandwich was solid and was not too greasy. It had good flavor and quality ingredients. The star of the show, however were the wings. Perfectly breaded and seasoned and accompanied with great sauces (the best being the honey garlic, garlic parm, and kraze sauce), these were some of the best wings I have had in the Metro Detroit area. Being accommodating in business is everything, my friends. First, let me start by saying their food is pretty good. Their problem is that when it comes to being accommodating and service, they lack heavy. I typically go at night when I get off work and sometimes have to come across town for their stuff. I typically order in advance and tell them when I'm coming so my food can be hot, but my food is always lukewarm at best. Tonight, particularly, I called in my order and got about 8 pieces of tenders and fries for like 40 something bucks. Why 8 chicken tenders and fries cost that much is crazy, but I was willing to go for it. After she confirmed everything, I told her I was 25 minutes away and that if they could make it fresh by the time I was getting closer. The lady says "oh we close at 3. You won't get here in time." I tell her I'd only be five minutes over and couldn't they do it? She says "no sorry, we'll be closed." Instead or going back and forth with her I simply said ok, lol. Don't want 40 dollars before the end of the night? Cool. Called corn on the corner which isn't but a block far from them and got there at 3:05 and they still got me my food, zero problems, while telling me not to even worry as I apologized for not getting there by 3. ‍ Like I get it's the end of the butter, but showing you care a little about your paying customers goes a long way. Especially if they've been coming back despite minor prior annoyances. Plus there's many times I've seen people come in right after 3 and they'd ring them up while not turning them away for being late. Won't be going back anymore though. Chicken Kraze is a new halal fried chicken restaurant in West Dearborn. It seems like it's mostly a dinner destination - I went for lunch and didn't see a single other customer come in. Kind of surprisingly given how good their chicken is. Spicy Kraze Chicken Sandwich ($12.99) - This comes with two massive chicken tenders with slices of red onion, tomato, and lettuce on top. The chicken was entirely white breast meat, came out piping hot, and had a satisfying crunch on the breading. The chicken was smothered in slightly spicy, very acidic sauce - seems like perhaps hot sauce mixed with mayo? A little too vinegary for my tastes. The sandwich came with a pickle spear and a pretty large portion of fries. The fries were typical food service ones, but fried perfectly. Chicken Kraze fries the chicken to order, so don't be surprised if you have to wait 15-20 minutes for your food after you order. If there was one complaint I could give, I would say that the restaurant should probably consider adding napkin dispensers to each table. Eating fried chicken can get pretty messy and I had to ask at the counter to get napkins. Chicken Kraze is a good addition to the area. Next time I'll definitely try their bone in fried chicken. read more

Food is amazing! I got the Kraze wrap and chicken tender wrap and they did not disappoint. They came with seasoned fries which were one of the best fries i've ever had. Their service is 10/10. I came in here 10 minutes before they opened because apple maps said they open at 11am (they open at 12) and so I placed an order early and they still accommodated me! New fried chicken spot in the area. They have boasted chicken (which is just friend chicken), wings, chicken sandwiches, and wraps. We tried a little of everything. The broasted chicken was pretty good. Wish it had more seasoning. They cook the chicken to order so came out hot and crispy. They let us try a bunch of different sauces which added a lot more flavor. The chicken sandwich wasn't my favorite. I prefer darker meat in my fried chicken sandwiches and this had chicken breast which made is more dry and less flavorful. The wrap was tasty. The food was food. Woman taking our order was kind. Restaurant was clean. Prices aren't bad. BUT I'd strongly recommend a few things to make this place better. 1. The buns on the chicken sandwiches are cheap. Very cheap. I'd recommend brioche buns. It would compliment the nicely fried chicken breast very well! 2. The french fries are obviously a cheap frozen brand. Very disappointing. I make better fries at home. 3. The cups for your drinks are also cheap. They're styrofoam with coffee-esq lids. TLDR: Excellent spot. Great sandwich meal. Wonderful service. I had to check if Keith Lee was in town with how amazing the customer service was. Top to bottom, great presentation. The place was clean, the guy at the front (owner?) was welcoming, and the prices are great. I wanted a Parmesan chicken sandwich but they were out so we got 2 crispy chicken sandwiches, no onions and 1 with cheese. The sandwich tasted amazing. Idk if it was cheese sauce or not, but no cheese slices on either. There was onions on one but it was large cut and easy to remove. I'm still so impressed so I won't hold it against them. The sandwich itself had two crispy juicy tenders in it and fresh lettuce and tomato. Hard to hold with two tenders but fun if you're a sloppy eater. My family and I had never heard of this place before but decided to try it on Christmas Day because we were having a hard time finding anywhere else to eat. So glad we stopped in because the food and service were both great! We all ordered a different flavor of wings and we were all happy with what we got. The reason why I gave 4 stars because when I opened the chicken boxes 2 of the pieces were burnt and cold and the other two were perfectly hot and golden. Which was disappointing and the sandwich didn't have that much sauce on it almost dry.
