Frankie's is our new go to spot. Chicken Lisa is in the same building and offers delicious food while you're enjoying this bar. Frankies is a small friendly neighborhood bar that offers big screens for all sports and a wonderful atmosphere! The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome and not like it's just their job to do so. I highly recommend both places. Several beers on tap at Frankie's from light, ipa, dark and specialty as well as some seltzers and classic bottled beers. The place is clean. Not dark like most bars and overall is just a comfortable location and safe feeling place to enjoy your favorite beer and great food, both at wonderful prices. You will not be disappointed to come have some drinks and some delicious food at the same time. Promise! Jamie, Christian & Stephanie

Easy little local spot. Beer n wine joint connected to a Mexican food spot. Friendly service with locals talking loud and gossiping others business. Regular clientele who knew each other's names. Easy prices and clean to the eye. Since I'm from out of town and wanted to try something different. I'm cool with no need to find it again from the golf resort up the street.

Belching Beaver Peanut butter Stout on tap, carnitas burrito amazing, fresh home salsa, happy hour great place, new smell

Great specials on drinks and food for football games. Multiple TVs if there are several sporting events happening at once.

Frankie's has been a GREAT addition to Chicken Lisa's. For those unfamiliar, they share and entrance (and ownership) and whereas Chicken Lisa's is more of the "restaurant" area, all you gotta do is cross over into Frankie's for the "bar" area. It's got a cool setup, a nice long bar with drinks on display and faux exposed brick. There's also added seating along the far wall if you don't want to cozy up to the bar. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, and after a few visits you'll be on a first name basis. Only beer and wine are available, nothing stiff, but it's a great selection for what they do carry. This place is one of the best kept secrets in Escondido, and although I wish them financial success, I kinda hope it stays that way.

Great spot to have a drink and have great food.

I am pleasantly surprised how Frankie's (inside of chicken Lisa's) seemed to pop up out of thin air with such good results.

It's really nice to have a local brew pub in Escondido! I've been multiple times and really like…read moreit. Very open concept that has a modern feel to it. There is a nice indoor/outdoor vibe as there are some really big glass garage type windows that open (or close). The service has always been very prompt and friendly. I keep going back to their pizza's as they are quite good. I also suggest checking the special of the day as they usually have some pretty cool ones. They also have beer! Quite a few to be honest and if you aren't sure they are great at helping you figure out what works for you. For good food served by nice people in a clean and modern environment, this is the place!

Something feels off here. The vibes in this place are weird and looking into the yelp page…read moreconfirmed my suspicion. First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Any business owner worth their weight is able to think for themselves and use their brain to answer unless they're completely illiterate or too incompetent to think of a good response. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this. But It is quiet...too quiet. The beer tender would constantly hangout at the handicap table talking to any co-worker with free time on their hands for a long time. Seems like a cushy job honestly. I'm assuming they would hold conversation with customers, but unfortunately There were no customers... its a ghost town, and i left thinking, "This place is creepy." I'll just pick up and eat the pizza at home next time. I'm waiting to see what generic CHATGPT response the owner gives me.
