Fast service - good food. I had a falafel bow on rice. The spicy sauces were excellent.

Soup Nutsy is a takeout spot in the PATH that specializes in soup (as the name would suggest). As I…read morewas working in the vicinity and interested in a lighter lunch, I decided to give them a shot. Plus, I appreciated their nod to the famous Seinfeld episode. I was surprised that there was no line on a weekday during lunch time ~12:00, especially since other reviewers made mention of long wait times. I guess I was lucky. Anyway, since there was no line, I got my meal quickly. The soups are waiting in pots at the front, so the service is fast as they just need to scoop up your soup of choice. I got a small soup meal, so I was able to choose 2 sides from a collection of breads and fruits/veggies. I decided to go for the Moroccan Madness Vegetable Medley with sides of a multigrain ciabatta bun and apple. The soup was good, definitely fresh, flavourful, and better than your average canned soup, but I wasn't blown away. Plus, the meal was kind of pricey for what I got. For these reasons I only rated them as 3 stars. However, I'm really only basing my review on one out of many different soup options. Maybe some of the other flavours are better. I would go back to try a different soup.

Given the stellar reviews online, I was so excited to try Seoul Gamjatang with my friend. However,…read moreI left quite disappointed by my meal. I got the gamjatang (what they are known for) and it had two potatoes and a few pieces of pork bone. The pork was tender but the soup was pretty tasteless. It did come with a good amount of rice and the side dishes were decent. But for their star dish, I found that it missed its mark. I've been to other Korean restaurants that don't specialize in gamjatang but they are much much better. Service was really nice and there was a bit of a wait even to get a seat. My friend did get their veggie bibimbap and she said she enjoyed it. Also their menu is AI-generated which gives me a sense of false advertising.

The jjigae came out boiling hot and served with a rice of rice. It was perfectly spicy and had a good amount of pork in it. The bibimbap was also delicious with plenty of the add ins to go with the rice. It was served with a side of soup. The meals came with your typical sides and were refillable, which was appreciated. Service was quick and everyone was kind, making sure we were taken care of. They were happy to accommodate us. Overall a very yummy casual spot to get some delicious Korean food!

Food: We ended up with the spicy chicken and stir-fried beef, and both were great. I personally love Sichuan and mala flavours, so this was right up my alley. The spice level was definitely there, but there was still a lot of flavour beyond just being spicy. It actually reminded me of living in Hong Kong, which is where I learned to really appreciate spicy food. I got soy milk with my meal too, which is one of my favourite things to have with Sichuan food. Ambiance: It's a pretty casual spot in Chinatown and was busy when we visited. They give you a bib for some of the messier dishes, which I appreciated! We also randomly spotted a celebrity I'm a big fan of eating here, which was a fun surprise. Service: The staff were helpful, especially since we went in not really knowing what to order. Their recommendations worked out perfectly for us and everything came out pretty quickly. I've been back a couple of times since but yes, i need better pictures cause these are all screenshots from my videos!

The restaurant offers a variety of spicy, savory dishes that are bursting with authentic Sichuan flavors. The highlight for me was the stir-fried pork with green peppers, which was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice and crunch. I also enjoyed the side of pickled vegetables, which added a tangy contrast to the richness of the main dishes. The chili oil dipping sauce was a fiery delight, complementing everything I tried. The ambiance is casual but energetic, and the staff was attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I was so impressed that the owner remembered me (I do have whacky colour hair but still!) I love supporting small businesses but this one deserves all the support. Fuss-less, healthy, delicious food is what you will sign up for time and time again. The food has been consistently great. I know some have complained about the reheating but they clearly have no idea how a small set up like this works. Everything needs to be "pre"pared for 1. Efficiency (lunch hours get busy and customers would complain if it want quick 2. Space. Reheated or not, still tastes like a nice old fashioned home cook meal to me. Today I got the shrimp curry, mutton curry, mutton roll and although they ran out of fish curry, the owner wasted no time in offered to throw one together for me quickly. My BF ate the mutton one which comes with lentil and veggies and he was blown away by the flavors. It's this human touch, the conversation and the love they put into the food that I come back for.
