Ordering the Jalapeno Pimento Cheese flavor of the chicken salad was a mistake ... cheese doesn't belong in a chicken salad ... it just tastes weird. My favorite flavor (so far) is the Jalapeno Holly. The Centerville location is nice, spacious, and the staff are friendly. The Coke from the fountain drink machine was flat unfortunately, when I was there last. The free cookie is a nice touch. read more

I put in a scheduled order 1 hour prior. went to pick it up and had to wait 25 minutes. Then when they called my name (Bonner) they kept saying my first name and Boner. several times while laughing. then telling their coworker "I bet they heard that didn't they". "didn't they" Then kept saying it. I get embarrassed really easily and my face turned instantly red. It was so embarrassing. I make my jokes about my last name myself. I can laugh about it. In a public setting in front of a bunch of people I don't know is not the place to make fun of someone's name. As an employee you should know not to do that publicly. read more

Our first visit to Chicken Salad Chick at Cornerstone between Costco & Cooper Hawk which opened late 2024. So many versions of chicken salad to choose from & they will give you free samples so you can make your decision. I really enjoyed the Sassy Scotty with chicken, ranch, cheese & bacon. My Mom settled on Fruity Fran & we both selected the chicken salad melt which comes with your choice of side, a pickle & cookie. I have had chicken salad chick twice now. Once at the restaurant and once as carry-out. I have tried the classic Carol and the Olivia's old south. I liked them both but the classic Carol was better. There were several other kinds of chicken salad- ones with grapes, Buffalo chicken, ones with cranberries, onions, etc. Something for everyone! The sides range from potato salad to chips to mac and cheese, and broccoli salad. I've had the potato salad and mac and cheese, neither really stuck out as being great and I think the Mac and cheese was just kraft from a box. You get a small iced cookie with your meal and it was pretty reasonably priced averaging about $11 for a meal. (Chicken salad of your choice, side, and small cookie. No one waits on you here. You go through a line, order and they bring your food to your table. Everyone was nice. Good lunch spot! read more

We've been here twice now and have really enjoyed our meals. We've tried several of the chicken salads with croissants and they've been very good. The pasta salad, fruit and broccoli salad sides are favorites too. The soups are also very good. They have tasty cookies and cakes too. We also like the quiet atmosphere. Went on Monday about 11:40 am and they were out of things and half the employees called off. Saturday crew doesn't have enough crew to prep for a Monday. After waiting 30 minutes for my food and other customers being served I asked for my money back and left. This has happened on another Monday as well. I love chicken salad and was so excited when the Cornerstone Chicken Salad Chick store opened. The food is consistently good, the store is always very clean, and the workers/managers are polite. The problem is the "giving card" and the app (which I updated regularly). Every single time I tried to get the monthly promotion (from the giving card) and/or used my points, there was a problem at the register. Every. Single. Time. I would click redeem on my app, they would scan the QR code on my app, The app updated to show my points/promotion was used, but the discount never showed up on the register total. The manager always fixed the problem, but still, so frustrating. read more

this is one of my favorite restaurants. I lived in the south for many years and the difference is unbelievable. The service and staff is horrible and the ones that do smile have no idea what's going on. I watched my order for over 33 mins sit on a counter. I asked the same girl working the register twice to check the order and she said "it's not ready that's not your order". WHOLE TIME IT WAS. I've had multiple encounters with her which were HORRIBLE. Management needs to do better. Learn how to read or please hire someone who can! Definitely don't recommend this store if you want to enjoy your time and meal you're better off going down south. What in the world happened? When we went there the first time shortly after they opened it was great. Went about 4:00pm today and it was totally different. Went to order and the guy at the counter started reading off the salads they were out of. We went ahead and ordered another salad on the chicken melt sandwich. Sandwiches were okay except they were supposed to have provolone cheese, but both had cheddar. For our sides my wife got pasta, me fruit. The cups were both less than half full. The first time we went they were full. My fresh fruit was almost all blueberries. Very little else. My wife went to refill here Dr. Pepper and the guy came out and said they didn't have anymore. It was our first time trying this place and we happened to hit them right at the rush; the line moved quickly and workers were very friendly. The wait for our food wasn't bad despite a line continuing to pour in. We had the Fancy Nancy on croissants with Tortilla and Chicken noodle soups, everything was very fresh and honestly the best chicken salad I've ever had. The young woman taking the order at the register had a difficult time understanding the order even though I speak English without difficulty. When I arrived home with the order, it was not what I ordered. The young lady putting the order in did it accurately, but the person preparing it did it wrong. Went to Christ UMC in Kettering for women's event. Chicken Salad Chick catered. I had an excellent cranberry chicken salad on crescent roll. Their pimento cheese spread is the first I ever liked. (I lived in Alabama and northern Florida for 17 years and tried a lot of pimento spreads.) Really good. Can't wait to go to their cafe and try more salads and soups. read more
