Great food experience every time I come here. I love there spicy chicken. The cook here does a amazing job.

Rock Creek Lake Family of Origin would meet with 60 - 80 relatives for family reunion; lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, and lot of home-fried chicken. A relative owned a home on Rock Creek Lake, which provided access to large state park-like picnic areas. The many ladies vied for showcasing the many elements of a picnic. These memories occur as I purchased Lee's chicken for the July 4 holiday. Brother Gary and I dominated the lake and raft area from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm. I recently ordered takeout from here. I got the three piece chicken meal, which includes one breast, one thigh, and one leg. The meal also comes with two sides and a biscuit. I got the green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy for sides. I also ordered an additional side of cole slaw. Everything except the extra Cole slaw that I ordered came in a black styrofoam container. A plastic fork was included but no napkins. The chicken was fried very well. It was nice and crispy and juicy inside. You can get a spicy version but I opted for the regular version. The biscuit was very fluffy and buttery. The green beans were cooked well and were buttery. No additional salt or butter was needed. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good. The gravy was savory and the right consistency (not too thick nor not too thin). The cole slaw was good and creamy. Overall, I give this meal 4-stars. Everything was delicious and the value is good. Items were packed well and were warm upon arrival. I recommend. A nice alternative to other fried chicken places. read more

Their service is subpar! They were so rude and never acknowledged my presence for over 5 minutes. I had to say something ton get their attention. I didn't appreciate how the staff or the manager treated me. So I promptly left. I will never return. read more

Visit on 5/23. Drive thru. I havent been in awhile and wont. be back anytime soon. Order thru drive thru-the person did not speak clearly. Said you would get your total at the window. Never got it nor is it posted anywhere or said that they change 4% for a credit card. got home-chicken was dry, no dipping sauce that was requested, chicken was cold as well as the mashed potatoes. read more

I just ordered my food at the drive through and set in line for 15, when I got to the window they told me they were closing in 10 minutes and they were out of what I ordered. I think this is very poor service and I will not be going back. read more

I will not be back to a Lee's as long as they have an automated order, taker at drive up. Apparently the cook had not shown up until 12:20 in the afternoon. And they were out of chicken. The order taker didn't know how to handle the issue of changing my order. It was beyond ridiculous. Popeyes is across the street. I will continue to go there instead. read more

Save your money they forget to give you all your order and when you call in they think your trying to scam free food. I will go to another lees before I ever go here again very rude people. This store is not worth the stress and you have to go inside to talk to a real person. They say no cash and when you pay by card they charge you a fee that's a scam ! read more

I'm going to give them 1 star and that's being generous! The employees are friendly, attentive and exceptional! Now the food is another story! I used to love Lee's.. Yes even better than KFC.. But within the last 3 years.. Every time I order chicken... The chicken has suffered an unfortunate disorder. ANOREXIA! The pieces of chicken I received are so tiny and meatless that I had to lick my fingers to feel as if I completed a meal. The chicken littles got smaller but the price went up! WTH! Is there a disease going around that's causing this? I mean I would have to order a family size bucket just for myself! Even the tenders are an unfortunate unfunny joke and I'm an unfriendly heckler! We came all the way from Minnesota to order Lee's chicken - just kidding. Actually, I grew up in Dayton and have fond memories of order chicken and mash potatoies for my Grandma. We were in town visiting my Mom and we decided to try Lee's 12-piece fried chicken dommer during our visit. I was so disappinted after getting the food open at home. The chicken was dry and some pieces overcooked. Fortunately, my Mom had a good chicken let she enjoyed but the rest of the chidken was dry. Hence the reason for my two stars instead of one. Usually one of my go to places but today was really disappointed. Not sure if the automated ordering machine was down but someone took my order through the drive thru--my order was repeated entirely incorrectly (wrong style, wrong sides, wrong drink) but she was super nice and fixed it. Something must have been still rung incorrectly because I was handed the wrong drink. When I said this, I assume the manager came over and gruffly told me that wasn't what was rang up and begrudgingly fixed it, shoved my card back at me, and then walked away. This place has deteriorated the last couple years. Food is not consistent and is either undercooked or burnt. Drive thru service is slow. My two most recent attempts to eat here have failed. First time tried to order a spicy 3 piece meal with breast, and they had no spicy chicken except for thighs. Today I was brave and thought I'd try it again, but I ordered today and wanted dippers and potato wedges, and they have no wedges ready. Both of these attempted visits were at lunch and dinner, not at 8 pm when maybe they would be out of food. Won't be trying anymore. Not worth the risk. read more

Ok I have sat in the drive through for over 20min. Ordered 3 legs get to the window to be told they only have one leg & offered me me breast or thigh.. I'm sorry but that's not what I asked for & if your a restaurant you should have enough food to go around. What pisses me off is there's a guy that comes in the store while I am in the drive-through he gets my legs he comes out before I even get my order because they gave my legs to him I'm in the drive-through last time I worked drive through someplace they get served first get it together Lee's famous recipe yank going to be so famous now... your service sucks.. read more

Worst service ever go through drive-through order three piece meal and a sandwich get home only have three piece meal they didn't have the food my wife wanted we ordered legs and got thighs after they told us they had crispy I went back and got my money back and told them to get it together. read more

I've been a Lee's fan since I was young and am happy not much has changed with their recipes. The staff at this location are always friendly and service time on point. There have been occasions where food wasn't ready for the 5pm rush, but that is rather infrequent. The only reason this place isn't 5 stars is the cashiers, whom many have been working there for years, ring up Combo 1 wrong 75% of the time. I always double check my receipt now. I refuse to go there on Wednesday nights now because the daily deal (which is an excellent deal) creates an enormous wait time. If you want the deal, it's best to get there before 4:45. read more
