Had a great chicken salad lunch here! Was not familiar with this brand, until my daughter told me about it. I'm from the west coast and had never heard of it. Love their concept of a base chicken salad with many options of add ins. They have a drive-thru, too! We ate inside and it's a comfortable southern feel and nicely decorated as such. I visited this establishment this morning. When I went to fill my drink i noticed there were black specks in the ice. I alerted the manager and she said yeah I'm sorry about that. There is construction going on nearby and it's keeps getting into the ice. She said I can get you some different ice if you want. I said no I already filled it without ice but I don't want other customers to ingest that. She said ok and did absolutely nothing. There was a long line and they continued to serve the ice. If that's in the ice, I wonder what is in the food?? read more

The food is always fresh , chicken , Croissants, and fruit . My chicken salad journey started with Chic-Fil-a when they used to serve their chicken salad sandwich, then they discontinued it! Since then I haven't found a place that makes awesome chicken salad. I used to chicken salad chick all the time and say to myself "nah can't be good, I'll pass." I don't know if it's the logo that made me think that or what. Long story short I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! My two favorites are olivia old south and the one with the onions can't remember the name right now. Sandwiches come nicely toasted on that awesome wheat bread! It's the perfect sandwich! Plus you can buy bowls of it and get the brewed by the loaf is awesome!! I have been venturing outside of my "comfort zone" lately...broadening my food horizons, if you will. Well, today I found myself on the virtual doorstep of Chicken Salad Chick. Personally, I am not excited about chicken salad. I would not veer off the road for "alleged" delicious chicken salad. Is this a thing in the south? It must be, otherwise why would this place exist? Am I to assume chicken salad is to Georgia as roast beef is to Massachusetts?I digress. I saw they had a turkey sandwich with pesto and I love all things basil, so it was worth the calculated risk. My husband and I both ordered the turkey pesto sandwich, which came with a pickle and a choice of a side. As I mentioned before, I'm not one for a "scoop" of chicken salad and I opted for Miss Vickie's Smokehouse BBQ chips. The sandwich was tasty but there was much to be desired in the way of pesto. I'd get it again but I'd have to ask for extra. I took a picture of it because it made me laugh and I thought it was a fluke...nope, they done did my hubby the same way. Probably not looking for consistency that way. My daughter had a seasonal strawberry salad which looked fresh and delicious. The greens were vibrant and the strawberries were bright red...clearly I'm second guessing my choice. They did forget the poppyseed dressing, sad face. To end on a positive note, they threw in a mini buttercream frosted cookie. Unexpected and tasty. I'd be willing to try them out again. read more

I had never heard of chicken salad chick, restaurant coming from the West Coast, California. I was introduced by some coworkers to chicken salad chick, and IAM. Glad I was! I have since frequented this restaurant as a result. I love the many chicken salad options and appreciate how fresh my food has been. The broccoli salad is definitely a hit and one of my favorite things to eat here. I like the chicken salad alone or if I choose a bread option it is always on their buttery fresh croissant rolls! I don't recall the actual names of the chicken salad that are my favorites but it's the one with the dill; absolutely flavorful and yummy. And my other fav is the one with the grapes (reminiscent of Waldorf salad). If you've never tried this place before and you enjoy good chicken salad with a twist (imo) go, go, go! Very delicious chicken salad! I ordered pick up via the app and it was very easy to walk in to pick up my order. I did have to wait a few minutes to be recognized by the cashier lady, but another kind lady from the drive thru noticed me waiting and was able to help me out. I've heard a lot about this place. It's not bad but I won't be back. I ordered a scoop of Fancy Nancy... There was one grape and 2 small pieces of apple in my scoop. It should have been called Pecan Stan instead. And don't worry about it lacking salt as there is plenty from the mayo and any additional added. Went today and got the pimento BLTon croissant. It was horrible. I couldn't even it eat. Also, the sprite didn't have carbonation so I switched it out at the drive thru for a coke and that one didn't have carbonation either. I had a couple scoops of from here at work one day so I had to come back! The restaurant has a very clean, tranquil feel and all the staff members were so nice and accommodating! One of the cooks personally come out from the back to let me know that they were out of the Fancy Nancy and BBQ salads he'd gladly make them if I were willing to wait. After my order was accidentally given to another customer the manager Pam came out to apologize and gave me a free scoop on my next visit! This is customer service and hospitality done right! This review is an overall gripe about the franchise because their food is made with Conr syrup and HFCS!! If these simple type of foods are made from scratch, no one in their right mind would put half the crap in their salads that they do here. I ate here with my aunt who has a corn allergy and only she is breaking out in hives does she look over the ingredients. She didn't tell the cashiers she has a corn allergy because she would never think that chicken salad and egg salad would contain corn or corn by product. I looked at my pimento cheese and it too contains HFCS. I am lucky I don't have a corn, gluten, or soy allergy nor am I on a diet!!! But that HFCS supposedly will stay in our system centuries from now, when we are just bones, along with Teflon lol!! read more
