I have been dying to go to Chicken Salad Chick! I finally got the chance to stop by and try some of their famous chicken salad. I knew I wanted to get at least one sweet chicken salad and one savory. I two small quick chicks to eat later at home. I got Lauryn's Lemon Basil and Cranberry Kelli. Once I got home I tried each with some of the free crackers they provided. I really enjoyed both flavors for different reasons. Lauryn's Lemon Basil is savory and very fresh, earthy and clean tasting. It feels like you're eating healthier and clean. I can imagine eating it poolside. Cranberry Kelli's has a lot of different sweet flavors going on. It has a nice crunch due to the almond slivers. It's not overly sweet for those who don't like things too sweet. You do get some savory flavor with a hint of sweetness. I believe it overall gives a good balance. Although I did not eat in the store I already knew I wanted to come back and dine in for the future. I love this bright little resturaunt. The resturaunt is clean and the employees are friendly, polite and helpful. The food is fresh made and the serving sizes are realistic. I can only comment on the pimento cheese since that's all I've had. I've had both the pain and the spicey and both are creamy and bright. Highly recommend! All servings come with a pickle wedge - PERFECT! & a little frosted cookie. I joined their rewards program... they have really great rewards. I really like the salads I've tried. I was so excited when I found chicken salad chick in orlando! I wish there was one closer to me in Kissimmee---- push for another location! Wooohooo!!! It was my first time visiting. I love the diner themed decor. I was so grateful the cashier was able to let me try different flavors. I asked for 4 different samples and there was never any push back or bad eyes. On the contrary, they even help give suggestions on what to try. I ended up getting the to go containers vs staying to dine in. So I have only been to drive - thru chicken salad chicks before and loved the selection of chicken salads. I saw this location had the cutest sit down area where it looks like a darling southern diner. My friend and I had a great time and chat and we both agreed the grape salad the best side we had. I love a chicken salad with apples in it. I always have an always will so that's what I got and it was great. The staff was very friendly and patient with us ordering. I haven't been to this location yet or to the restaurant in some years. It was still really good and quick service. The Maui mama melt was 10/10 for me, it's a perfect mix of a little sweet with the heat from the jalapeños (only available for a limited time). The grape salad was a little too sweet with the brown sugar but it's optional to add along with the pecans which I didn't add. Absolutely horrible experience at this Chicken Salad Chick location. We have been eating at Chicken Salad Chick for years and have always loved it, but the service and experience at this location left a very bad taste in our mouths. When we placed our order, the girl at the counter, Nelly, was extremely short and rude. My son ordered a turkey club, which we have always known to come with honey mustard. Apparently, they have changed it and now use mayonnaise instead. The problem is that no one told us about the change, and no one asked if we wanted specific toppings. The menu also does not clearly state what comes on the sandwich, so we had no way of knowing it now comes with mayo. When we received our food, several of the sides were also on the wrong plates. Then my son noticed mayonnaise on his sandwich. He is allergic to mayo, so he immediately took it back to the counter. Nelly, the same employee who took our order, told him they would NOT remake the sandwich and simply handed him a packet of mustard. My husband had to go back to the counter and insist that they make a new sandwich. Her response was, "Did you take a bite of it?" We had not. No one had touched the sandwich. Given that this was an allergy issue, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of concern and professionalism. They eventually made a new sandwich, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the situation. Mistakes happen, menus change, and we understand that. What is unacceptable is failing to communicate a change involving an allergen and then showing so little concern when a customer brings it to your attention. To top it all off, they charge 50 cents for a cup for water. We have supported Chicken Salad Chick for years and have always had positive experiences, but after this visit, we will think twice about returning to this location. We came twice in vacation because it was so good but come early, both times they were out of certain types of chicken salad. Loved the grape salad and the croissant with bacon and cheese just wish they wouldn't have been out of the sweeter chicken salad. Because they were out of the chicken salad I wanted I got the bacon and cheese, which my daughter wanted and I took the last one. Sometimes they don't know what they have and have to ask the kitchen, wish we had known I would have changed mine (I wasn't there she was ordering for me on the phone) casual, quick, good choices. Wow! The Greek chicken salad was absolutely incredible. I usually am not a fan of someone else making my salad, and my curry chicken salad is often asked for and I enjoy more flavor and spice so some are too bland. You can select from a variety of chicken salad flavors and decide if you want it as a sandwich or just a scoop. Each entree comes with a great side selection -- different salad options, soup, fruit, chips, or mac & cheese. I ordered the Kickin' Kay Lynne sandwich on a croissant. As the name would imply, it's a bit spicy and contains Buffalo sauce, jalapenos, and even Sriracha! For my side, I tried the Chicken Tortilla Soup. Both the sandwich and soup were delicious and filling. For a drink, I drank iced tea with my meal, but when I refilled my cup, I got strawberry lemonade to go. Each meal comes with a little cookie for dessert, too. It all really hit the spot. The dining room was really cute, too. It felt like springtime and was like dining at grandma's house, with plastic table cloths adorning each table and booth. I wish there was a location on the west side of town. When we called to speak to the owner, he said that he has been a franchise owner for 7 years and has seen this happen often. I find this to be absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I had lunch here last week as it was near where I was staying and therefore convenient. I understand it is a chain but one I wasn't familiar with. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center it's located in. At the counter and after receiving a taste sample of 2 of its chicken salads, I chose a sandwich of Olivia's old south chicken salad. It's chicken salad with egg and pickle added into the mixture. I got the combo and chose the loaded potato soup and an iced tea from the self serve drink fountain. With tax it was $14.37. The meal was ready in about 5 minutes and included a pickle spear and a small packaged cookie for an unexpected treat. The croissant and chicken salad included lettuce and tomato (which I asked for) and was very good tasting. The Olivia version with the added egg and pickle reminded me of the kind of chicken salad I loved as a kid. The soup was equally good and I was glad I ordered it. The cookie was delicious and that little extra that makes restaurants like this special. During the meal they had nice Christmas music playing in the background. I ordered the Chick Melt with Sassy Scotty (a zesty blend of ranch, bacon, & shredded cheddar cheese) along with Loaded Potato Soup. The meal also included crackers and a sugar cookie. The croissant of the Chick Melt was crispy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. I was impressed that it was not oily.
