The tender had enough substance to not be dry, the Nashville hot rub was the perfect blend of sweet and heat. The slider comes with a delightful slaw and sauce with just enough to cool down the burn from the spice. The locations is really cool too, decorated for the surrounding this one has graffiti art of the watermarks, the theme parks, and of course some funky chickens. Hahaha The service was amazing! I was able to order online ahead of time for a pickup order. I got a tender + tender sandwich, with fries. Spice level was "hot" and boyyyyyy was it HOT. I might have overestimated the heat level. I ate the tender first and had to leave the sandwich for the next day when it was cold from the fridge lol I dont even like milk and depended on it to get through the tender. Coming here randomly one cool day because I wanted to hot goodness because when your allergies are bugging you hot things will fix you up quick fast and in a hurry so in this case hot chicken being the perfect cure! So out of the goodies they have I went with the tender and slider combo at the extra hot level because I love it hot but not so hot it isn't good and I must say extra hot while it wasn't that hot for me it definitely did make me feel better with that yummy hot flavor on that perfect fried chicken with that yummy slider that had some coleslaw and pickles it really made for a yummy hot combo that I would totally get again! While this isn't my go to spot for hot chicken I definitely must say it's a good alternative if I don't wanna drive that far out as for a chain they definitely do it right! We used to go to a Dave's when we lived in Colorado all the time! We haven't had it in about two years and boy was it delicious! We ordered way more food than we should have, but it definitely didn't disappoint. It is slightly on the expensive side, but they really give you a lot of food for your money. There are five different levels of spice that you can choose for them for your chicken so you have lots of options depending on what you like. Lots of side dishes if you're one to have sides. This was our first time trying Dave's Hot Chicken, and we were really excited. Inside was very interesting with a lot of artwork and decor. We placed our orders on the kiosk and was pretty easy. The only issue we encountered was a pretty lengthy wait. It was about 30ish minutes to receive our food from placing our order, and everyone seemed to have that issue. The chicken tenders did live up to the hype. I tried the hot and medium and absolutely liked the hot. It was the perfect amount of spice. The fries were very solid and the pickles and sauce were awesome. I enjoyed the food very much, but the wait time is keeping me from giving it a 5 star. I've been driving by this place since they moved in with the old Tijuana flat used to be. I finally had the opportunity to stop in and it was an experience. It was just after four in the afternoon and I decided to pick up dinner. I had no idea what they would be like because I've never been there before. She recommended the number three, which comes with one slider and one chicken finger as well as fries or your choice side. I decided to try it as is and had to make a choice of how spicy I would like it. I asked about their levels of spice and chose hot. It sounded like it would be safe for me. In the end, it was a bit spicier than I expected, but it was still very good. I didn't order a drink as I was getting it to go. I was given a pager while I waited for my meal. I believe this is because they make things fresh when you order them. The restaurant itself is a very large open space with some very interesting artwork painted on the walls. There was music playing so it felt a little loud inside. When my order was ready, she bagged it up and asked if there was any sauce I would like. I took a couple of hot sauce and got some honey. When I got home, I plated my meal and warmed it up a little bit before enjoying it. Both the chicken finger and the slider were fairly good sized. The french fries were maybe a little smaller serving than I expected, but we're plenty for me. The french fries also had some seasoning on them. Came here on a Tuesday night after work with our kids! There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly. Ordered and took our alarm/ beeper to sit outside: the only draw back to this place is how loud it can get. Maybe it's the high ceilings. Maybe it's the open space. But the noise was overwhelming. So if you have noise sensitivity, you may want to sit outside. Outside does also play music. The food was 10/10. Everyone got different ranges of spice and they were all amazing. You have to sign a waiver for the reaper, which is about the spice level of a Serrano chile. It would be great if there were more ketchup offered or available for the fries. The wait was really long (23 minutes) on a Wednesday. The mild and medium meals didn't have any spice to describe. The shakes are like you would get from McD's, but are a nice balance to the chicken.
