Dave's! What happened! Came for the new mozzarella sticks, saw the sign above the register only to learn at checkout that they didn't have them in stock. If you're out of stock, maybe put a sticker over the sign that shows it in stock? You had to have changed your fry vendor because they tasted as crappy as the Pea ones from Chickfila. Our chicken wasn't even crispy. Not sure we'll be coming back after this trip, disappointed!

This was our first time trying Dave's Hot Chicken, and we were really excited. Inside was very interesting with a lot of artwork and decor. We placed our orders on the kiosk and was pretty easy. The only issue we encountered was a pretty lengthy wait. It was about 30ish minutes to receive our food from placing our order, and everyone seemed to have that issue. The chicken tenders did live up to the hype. I tried the hot and medium and absolutely liked the hot. It was the perfect amount of spice. The fries were very solid and the pickles and sauce were awesome. I enjoyed the food very much, but the wait time is keeping me from giving it a 5 star. Overall I would recommend trying it for their unique take on spicy fried chicken tenders!

I've been driving by this place since they moved in with the old Tijuana flat used to be. I finally had the opportunity to stop in and it was an experience. It was just after four in the afternoon and I decided to pick up dinner. I had no idea what they would be like because I've never been there before. When I arrived, the parking lot was basically empty. I walked in and there were two people sitting at a table having some food. I walked over to the counter and was checking out the menu when a young lady came out from the kitchen area. She was friendly and personable and was very helpful in my choosing something to try. She recommended the number three, which comes with one slider and one chicken finger as well as fries or your choice side. I decided to try it as is and had to make a choice of how spicy I would like it. I asked about their levels of spice and chose hot. It sounded like it would be safe for me. In the end, it was a bit spicier than I expected, but it was still very good. I didn't order a drink as I was getting it to go. I was given a pager while I waited for my meal. I believe this is because they make things fresh when you order them. The restaurant itself is a very large open space with some very interesting artwork painted on the walls. There was music playing so it felt a little loud inside. When my order was ready, she bagged it up and asked if there was any sauce I would like. I took a couple of hot sauce and got some honey. When I got home, I plated my meal and warmed it up a little bit before enjoying it. Both the chicken finger and the slider were fairly good sized. The french fries were maybe a little smaller serving than I expected, but we're plenty for me. The french fries also had some seasoning on them. Everything tasted good and the heat was a little stronger than expected. I had asked for extra pickles and they did not disappoint with them. I'm not sure that it was worth the $15 that I paid for it, but I did enjoy my meal.

Great service, lots of parking nearby and chicken that is actually served up hot and spicy (if you want it spicy). I have heard the hype of "Dave's Hot Chicken," and now I get it. Juicy tenders that are served with genuine kick and spice - I loved it. The Top-Loaded Milkshakes are simply, in a good way. Creamy ice cream abd good toppings. They are especially good if you get an extra spicy meal. I will be back.

Pricey for little flavor and zero service. The tip at check out always starts a meal the wrong was and this was worse since no tip wasn't an option. I got medium and it wasn't hot. At all Very disappointing

Came here on a Tuesday night after work with our kids! There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly. Ordered and took our alarm/ beeper to sit outside: the only draw back to this place is how loud it can get. Maybe it's the high ceilings. Maybe it's the open space. But the noise was overwhelming. So if you have noise sensitivity, you may want to sit outside. Outside does also play music. The food was 10/10. Everyone got different ranges of spice and they were all amazing. The sauces were delish. They were generous with Dave's sauce on the side. We would definitely come back. The portions were generous.

Friendly welcome by Angi. Place is clean airy and cool. First time here ordered Tender & Slider Combo, Top-Loaded Fries and a large Milkshake. The Milkshake is delicious; thick & tasty. Chicken is tasty but have a bit of heartburn; next time will apply more honey sauce to temper it. Easy in and out. Order online since it takes a while; they cook it fresh.

My mom and I visited Dave's Hot Chicken for dinner while enjoying our Disney trip. Their chicken strips and fries were hot, spicy, and perfectly seasoned! Excellent customer service. Their art decor is spectacular! This is a unique place with a lot of character that everyone will enjoy!

Be prepared for a long wait time to order your food and for your food to come out! The inside if decorated trendy. It has a lot of areas for seating but depending on the time and day it gets full fast. There is outdoor seating. I ordered the tender meal and it was more than enough food. I could not finish my meal. I got two tenders, fries, pickles, and texas toast slice. The tender were ordered hot and they were in fact hot! I like spicy and was surprised by the heat. The meat was juicy and crispy. The fried were crispy and I got more than one pickle which made me very happy. The toast was toast and was a nice bonus I didn't know came with the meal. The drinks are ordered separately and not included in the meal. The special sauce it comes with it good but not enough in my opinion. I would go back, but with some patience or on a slow hour.

I will never be eating chicken tenders from any restaurant after coming here. I tried to get in contact with the health department to report this Dave's Hot Chicken and honestly stopped trying after multiple attempts. I got food poisoning from this location. It was my first time trying Dave's hot and will be my last. It tasted good, and I ate it all. The next morning I threw it all up. I threw up multiple times, and was sick for several days after. I'm not sure if it was because the chicken wasn't fully cooked or if it was a sanitary issue. Please be careful!! This was my first time getting food poisoning and I don't wish it on anyone! I also made a video before eating it and here is a pic of me with the bag to show proof! I also have proof of my professor sending me home because I threw up all over the floor at a clinical. I just want to warn others to be more cautious! This was one of the worst days ever feeling so sick after eating here.

This was my first time going there and I was skeptical at first but I decided to give it a try. It was a Sunday afternoon when got ther it was pretty packed that day I went to order my food at the counter. I ordered a light mild chicken slider and tender with fries and a drink. It was worth the wait it was a lot of people that day it took about 20 minutes for my food it was hot and fresh so it was worth the wait. I took a first bite of the chicken tender and it was so good with the Dave's sauce. The fries and pickles were also great as well dipped it with Dave's sauce and ketchup too. Daphne at the counter who took my order was very polite and pleasant by informing customers that there was a 30-minute wait and no one complained. I will definitely go back there.

    Scam!
    Anastasiya S.

Be very careful when you pay at this location! I am pretty sure the employees tampered with the credit card machine and the tip screen shows the full amount of your order so you automatically will click the green checkmark to confirm but in reality you just add 100% tip, employees know very well what they are doing because when I came back up to the counter the cashier said immediately : "I will fix it for you" without me even opening my mouth to explain the issue! I did report the location to corporate but want you guys to be aware as well. Just a SCAM, and absence of customer service!

I walked into Slim Chickens with dangerous levels of optimism…read more Big mistake. Before going, I watched a video on their website where the founders were talking about how, when they came up with the concept, they noticed other chicken tender places in the South "weren't doing it right." Now, they didn't say Raising Cane's by name, but come on. We all know who they were side eyeing. And as lifelong Cane's lovers, that got my attention. Because if you're going to throw shade at Cane's, the food better come out swinging. It did not! It came out dry, bland, and exhausted, with a texture that somehow managed to be overcooked and underwhelming at the exact same time. I didn't know you could ruin a chicken tender. I thought chicken tenders were one of those foods with a built-in safety net. Apparently not. Slim Chickens found the trap door. Then came the sauces. I asked the cashier what sauces he recommended since it was our first time. His response was basically, "I don't really like the sauces." That should have been my cue to turn around and go find literally anything else to eat. I tried the Slim's Sauce, which he described as ketchup and mayo with some herbs. That description was unfortunately accurate. It tasted like someone tried to reverse-engineer a good chicken sauce from memory while trapped in a break room. It was flat, boring, and nowhere near the level of Cane's sauce or even KFC's sauces. The garlic toast was another crime scene. Thin, wrinkled, cold Texas toast that looked like it had been toasted earlier that morning and then left to think about its choices. Calling it "garlic bread" feels generous. Calling it "bread" was already a stretch. The fries were those fake "hand-cut" freezer-section fries with the skin left on, like they're trying to convince you somebody in the kitchen actually touched an actual potato that morning. They were hard, overcooked, and tasted like they had been holding on for dear life under a heat lamp since opening. Not rustic. Not fresh. Just sad fries wearing a costume. And the atmosphere? Weekday lunch in Celebration, and there were maybe two people eating inside. That should have told me everything. A chicken tender place at lunch should have some life to it. This felt like a franchise location already rehearsing its goodbye speech. The funniest part is Yelp has this place sitting around 4 stars, but when you actually scroll through the reviews, there's a suspicious little cluster of glowing 5-star posts from "Elite" Yelpers around the same time. Maybe they all just happened to have the best chicken experience of their lives in the same week. Maybe.... All I know is what we were served was nowhere close to 5 stars. It was barely close to lunch. If the founders really built this concept because they thought other chicken places were "doing it wrong," I have some bad news: Raising Cane's can sleep peacefully tonight. KFC too. Slim Chickens didn't reinvent chicken tenders. They reminded me how badly simple food can go when nobody in the building seems excited about it. With Cane's expanding all over the place, this location better figure something out fast. Because if this is the product, I don't see Celebration celebrating it for long. I'm giving two stars, and honestly, those stars goes to the cashier for telling me he doesn't really like the sauces. That was the most helpful and accurate thing served to me all day.

We waited quite a long time but everything was packaged correctly and conveniently. You get quite a lot of chicken but it's served in a large tray that can be stored in the fridge if you have leftovers. It definitely feeds 4 adults so if you are a family of 4 with young kids, this could easily feed you twice. Our side choices were green beans, white cheddar Mac n cheese, and seasoned french fries. After my visit I can confirm: that's exactly right. Let's start with the good, because some of it is genuinely great. The space is clean and well maintained, with staff actively clearing and resetting tables at an impressive pace. For a fast casual concept, the fact that food is brought directly to your table is a thoughtful touch that elevates the experience above its category. And then there are the fries. My stomach is practically rumbling typing this. Freshly fried, crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot. They're genuinely hard to compare to anything else -- unique enough to stand on their own. If Chicken Guy sold only fries, I'd be a loyal regular. The chicken, though -- the whole reason for the name -- left me with questions. Hot and fresh, absolutely. But the interior had a wateriness that crossed from "juicy" into something that actually diluted the flavor. Combined with a sweet and sour sauce so thin it refused to cling to the tenders, the whole thing fell a little flat. I found myself wondering whether the chicken had been moisture-injected, because it tasted more hydrated than flavorful. In the Orlando heat that might technically be a feature -- but a good tender should be able to stand on its own before the sauce ever enters the picture. I'd return -- the fries alone make it worth it. But I'd experiment with a different sauce and temper expectations on the chicken itself.

The people taking orders seemed like they were on a different time lol, but the food came out fast. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by again.

For those wanting more local restaurants rather than chains, here's your chance…read more We have been remiss in not supporting Ellie Lou's recently so we visited for Sunday dinner. It's an order at the counter kind of place and they even have a rewards program. We always get (and recommend) the turkey. Tonight's was good but not great like it usually is. Excellent fried okra; real fries. We also like their ribs. AND they have good ice. The machine can be finicky but the customers like the ice, so they keep it running for us. I think that's pretty cool. And, again, they're local. Not some big chain. 4.5* this time since the turkey wasn't as great as usual. We'll be back!

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone on yelp who has said good things about Bubbakoo's…read more It's one of those places that I have driven past various locations and just never stopped in. I have seen quite a few good reviews recently on yelp and decided I would give them a try after therapy the other day. It was around 10:30 in the morning and I had not had breakfast and I figured this was as good as day as any to give this place a try. When I walked in it was still quiet in the place and I was immediately greeted by employees. I walked over to take a look at the menu board as I was not sure what to order. I did realize that the menu was a bit different from what I had seen online, but that was OK. I chatted with the gentleman behind the counter to get some suggestions and I settled on a burrito as this is a fairly good way to judge this type of place. Like so many other burrito places before we went over options for how I would like to have mine assembled. They have two kinds of rice available and I got some of each in mine. I'm not allowed beans so I skipped right over them and went right onto proteins. There are quite a few good choices and the only thing that wasn't quite ready. Was the ground beef when I got there. For me this was fine because that was not what I wanted. I settled on the Barbacoa. I added a little bit of pico, some salsa Verde, hot salsa, pickled jalapeños, cilantro, red onion, cheese and lettuce. This ended up being a very well packed burrito that he struggled to get closed up. In the end, everything was packed inside. I did dining and added a fountain drink. My burrito had some really good weight to it as it was truly packed with goodness. From the first bite to the last, it was really good. I think the only thing I might've changed would've been to add more jalapeños to it. I do like mine kind of spicy. Next time I might even try one of their signature sauces. This is a nice little restaurant. It was very clean with friendly help. There are accessible spaces near the entrance, although the entrance is not accessible. I'm actually looking forward to stopping back one morning and trying one of their breakfast burritos. Honestly, if you were looking for a good burrito, this is a better choice than a lot of the other fast food burrito places that we have probably all gone to. For now, this will be my go to place when I am in the mood. They even have a taco Tuesday special so I might have to stop in and try that one of these weeks.

Not only is this place fun to say, but it's also delicious! I'm from Las Vegas, so I wanted to try…read moresomething new since I'm so used to Chipotle and I was not disappointed. The videos on DoorDash made the place look vibrant and edible, and the food definitely lived up to that. I highly recommend the grilled chicken, guacamole, and queso! I wasn't a huge fan of the steak, but the queso absolutely made up for it. I'm very picky about my cheese, and this one was so good. I wish I had ordered more! I ordered my food to go, and the service was fast, efficient, and the food was still hot and fresh by the time it arrived at my Disney resort. The chips were perfectly salted as well. Thank you for a great experience to both DoorDash and Bubbakoo's!
