Came on a drizzly day right before the crew were going to take their mid-day break (3pm). This was…read morea charming little spot for lunch that definitely exceeded my expectations given its location in middle of nowhere BC. The bulgogi was flavorful, and balanced with vegetable in addition to meat. My husband ordered the dolsot bibimbap which was delicious as well. Only complaint is that the kimchi was a little underfermented (not sour enough for my liking). Also appreciated that the meal comes with barley tea, which is just what I needed on a rainy day. Disclaimer: The walls also show that if you give a 5-star review on Google, you get a free spring roll. I'm sorry, bribing your customers with free food does not seem right to me, so while I'd normally be more on the fence about whether my 4.5 star experience should be rounded up to 5, this bit of dishonesty makes me feel compelled to bring it down to 4.

The squid came out first and it was exactly as advertised. It was very tender and flavourful. The bibimbap came out next and came with all the fixings. It was very good and the left a clean bowl. Definitely will return, I'm very happy to have found a place in Chilliwack that serves Korean food that isn't just fried chicken.

When I was there, it was not very busy, so I got a table right away. The inside of the restaurant had a classy look to while still maintaining the Japanese aesthetic to it. The menu has so many more choices than I have seen any Japanese restaurant carry. From sushi and donburi bowls to Korean chicken and Fried Nori Tacos I actually had trouble deciding what I wanted because of how much there was to choose from. I ordered the Janjangmyun with the Crazy Boy Sushi Roll. The janjangmyun was fantastic overall. The noodles were great on their own, the caramelized onions were succulent, and the black bean sauce helps make everything in the dish taste exuberant. The sushi roll was fresh, crunchy, meaty and full of flavour. The service was nice, and I liked the waitress that served me. I really look forward to coming back to Noodle Road because I want to try their K-Pop Chicken the next time I come there. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Soy garlic = unfortunately, this made me sick afterwards. Chicken was old and chewy. We knew it wasn't fresh because we've had endless amounts of Korean fried chicken at many places in Canada and in Korea. Batter was so thick, as if it was re-battered and refried. The chicken pieces were so tiny that they got lost in the batter. It was also too sweet. If you're not a fan of sweet fried chicken, don't order this. We didn't think soy garlic would be too sweet so we were quite disappointed and didn't want to send food back when many around the world barely have anything to eat. Fried rice = taste was fantastic but the portion was tiny for a plate that cost about $19! I was surprised to have onion and sauce served with it; never had it before but I didn't mind it. It didn't elevate the dish or did anything to it so it could've been left out. Service = good. The hostess was friendly. Ambience = it is small but clean. Nothing much to say about decor but what is most important is that the tables and dishes are clean.

Chill place with nice service. The menu definitely became much smaller as years go by and prices gone up as the market went up. Still a decent place in my option. It seemed like their BBQ meals are quite popular since a couple of tables after us ordered the same. You are given the option of pork belly or pork jowl or a combination of the two. We chose the latter option, and we weren't disappointed! We were fairly new to this style of Korean BBQ dining and were deep in conversation, so we kept getting distracted and forgot to check on the meats. The waitress working was EXTREMELY patient and helpful. She helped us with the cooking and made conversation and joked with us. I personally prefer the pork belly because the pork jowl was a bit lean and dry (perhaps that was due to our poor cooking). The side dishes and soybean soup were standard - no complaints but also nothing to rave about. Instead of getting the rice with the soup, we ended the meal with the fried rice (additional $5). There was quite a lot of food leftover for 2 people so the small is definitely a good amount!
