We found this place on Google map as we were not familiar with korean food in the area. My friend wanted hot food, preferably soupy stuff. We got the army stew (Budae jjigae) to share plus an order of Korean fried chicken. The staff recommended that when we asked what RO order for an appetizer or side. She said the fried chicken is the popular item. The soy garlic chicken was delicious. I like the army stew which is a guilty pleasure as it contains mostly processed meat like spam and sausage and a slice of American cheese and instant noodle. My friend never tried it before and while she liked the soup, she didn't like the processed stuff. She mostly had the tofu and rice cakes in there. The place was quite busy when we we were there on a Tuesday night. I guess it is a popular spot in the area. Parking is available out front. read more

This Korean Restaurant came with a high recommendation from our Host's friend while visiting BC. Our Host was not familiar with Korean food and left the ordering up to me for everyone to enjoy! They had a great variety, I ordered the Spicy Tofu Soup, LA Kalbi, Japchae, and Bossom to share. Others ordered individual Bibimbaps that came with several garnishes. Loved that they served complementary tea. It wasn't too long that our order was brought one by one, served hot and delicious! Our Host was very impressed and now knows what to order for next time. Place was clean, fast service. Special shout out to Audrey and Olivia for a wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend if ever in the Langley area! read more

We were in Langley around dinner time, we decided to look for a place for dinner, found this Korean restaurant on Yelp with good reviews & it was near where we was and decided to give it a try. This is located in a street mall with ample parking spaces. Nice & clean space inside run by a Mum & Pop, she was very friendly, menu was varied and interesting. There is some items that is not found in our usual Korean fares. For example the Bulgogi Dupbap, it is beef bulgogi in soup, we had that dish in Seoul but couldn't find it here. I decided to have that & hubby had cold spicy noodles with pork belly, both entrees under $20 each. We loved the food, friendly service, you can ask for refills of your ban chan (Korean side dishes), you are served hot corn tea & cold water. A very yummy meal! We will be back! read more

Came here to try a new Korean restaurant, there are so many in Langley. Started with the Fried Chicken and Fries, this is a good size order. Had a Spicy Tofu with seafood that was very tasty. LA Galbi was a large portion compared to other places. Also, meat was very tender and tasty. Good choice, will be back. read more

Well this restaurant would be great but it's quite upsetting when a server insist that you to pay the bill when you're still eating and food is only half finished. Okay I admit my partner was finished his meal but still, read the table please! My go to orders are the pork cutlet dinner with the kimchi tofu stew omg sooo delicious or the bibimbap, then there is the Korean fried chicken (live the garlic soy) and lastly the Jambi on rice with brussel sports and kale. We stopped by for lunch. The restaurant was busy during the lunch rush. We managed to get a table after a short wait. I ordered the fried bulgogi mandu and pork belly and kimchi ssam. Food arrived fairly quickly. The fried beef dumplings were amazing. They were super crispy. Meat filling was nicely seasoned. The soy citrus chilli sauce complimented the dumplings well. The pork belly and kimchi ssam was alright. It was comparable to pressed sushi with the pork belly and kimchi toppings. There was a small salad to balance out the heaviness of the pork belly. This is a great Korean restaurant option in the area. There are high chairs available for younger children. Hand sanitizer was available. Staff wore face masks. read more

Our first time did not disappoint! When we come back to visit next year I'm already expecting that this place stays open specially with the rising rentals at the lower mainland! My family is a big fan of Korean food and a party of 8 ordered 12 dishes! The surprising part was when the waitress came by as we're finishing and brought chicken and vegetable stir fry on the house! We couldn't eat our full anymore! The dishes were surprisingly a lot as well. One dish can fill two people, by two if you just eat little amounts. Im just a petite person but can eat like a freight train specially with alcohol! This is a family owned restaurant and can fit about 45 or maybe less people inside. My usual review disclaimer applies. I don't leave negative reviews (I resolve negative issues with restaurants directly instead of leaving them on public pages) and I only write reviews when I feel truly compelled. My wife and I have popped in to Banchan now twice for take-out. We ordered the same thing twice. We shared Kimchi and Cheese fries, and also each had an Angry Chicken Bao Bun. First off - it's a nice place inside. Secondly -- the staff are tremendously friendly, lovely people, and it's a pleasure to buy anything from someone giving you a nice smile, some kindness and amazing food. Third -- these two dishes by themselves are truly and utterly incredible. The scent of the Kimchi and Cheese fries alone are enough to make one feel as though you've died and gone to heaven, but you add to that the truly amazing taste, on top of the little pieces of delicious pork belly in there and you've got something incredible that makes your brain want to explode. The little, beautiful, messy, amazing Angry Chicken Bao Buns are no slouch either, and a joy to eat. Can not recommend strongly enough. read more

Got delivery with Uber Eats, on my boss's tab. A seafood noodle soup + bulgogi bao bun = $32.58 before tip. I was pleasantly surprised by how much actual seafood was in the soup, and I liked everything in there (large & small shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, my favourite being the octopi) except the crab, which was way overcooked and practically dissolved. The noodles (packed separately dry) were similar to udon noodles but unfortunately not as chewy. I would also say the soup got to be a little too much seafood taste toward the end. The bulgogi bao was delicious but can literally be consumed in 4 bites (and is therefore on the pricey side at $5.20). Overall nothing spectacular, but I'd be down to try some other menu items. read more

I've tried this place 2-3 times now and really enjoy the fried boneless chicken! They do not provide any side sauces though if you don't order one with sauce on it and the whole chicken portion will feed a family. I wish they had half sizes as most Korean places offer because then it's possible to actually finish. The beef mandu is very tasty especially dipped in sweet chili sauce (I provided my own). I did not like the beef bulgogi bao bun as it had way too much favour on it so very overpowering. Usually I love bao buns and might try the pork belly next time. read more

Love this place. What a great addition to the Langley Area. An awesome alternative to the saturated corporate restaurant environment. Fried chicken is very good. Bao Buns are tasty. Mandu are nicely filled and taste great. Tuna Bap is good. Been here a few times now. Try it out. read more

I'd give the good a solid 3.5 stars but the service is a solid 1.5. They are only focused on their Korean customers, everyone else are like air. They aren't rude, but they aren't attentive and they forget about unkorean customers. When we were still talking to the staff, a Korean customer who was also waiting just cut in front of us and asked where they are to be seated. The staff didn't ask them to wait as we were talking, but they went and attend to that group. When we were finally seated down and got our menus, we waited for a long time to order or even get water. I was looking and slightly gave a wave as I didn't want to rush them but was starving. Two waitresses just kept walking around and looking everywhere else but at us or the other table of Filipinos. They are only attentive to the needs of the Korean tables. Two Korean girls walked in after we've been trying to wave them down and actually putting our hands high up in the air. They ignored us and just as the two girls sat down, they rushed and went to grab water for them. When one of the waitresses finally came she was like "oh! No water?" We ordered after having 3 out of 4 people out of our table waving down the waitresses. The Filipino table have it harder even though they were the biggest table in the middle and in front of the kitchen but they just somehow miss them every time the dad tried to call them. Other than the almost inexistent service, the food was tasty. Not the best I've had but decent. The fried chicken was good. The fried Brussel sprouts salad was delicious at the beginning but close to the bottom was just too salty and quite greasy we couldn't finish. The rice is a tad on the harder side like it's almost perfectly cooked but it wasn't actually done. The soup was good and the grilled pork belly was delicious. It's not a bad place to do takeouts or if you are around the area. However, it's not the best Korean food I've had and definitely a pretty bad experience with service. Ordered Father's Day dinner for takeout for the first time, and we were so impressed! The restaurant is very clean, the staff was wearing protection and the woman in the front was very friendly. We ordered the ahi tuna salad, Brussels sprouts with pork and sweet rice cake, miso fried chicken, and regular fried chicken. Everything was perfectly cooked, and we even had food left over. A good addition to our neighbourhood. I had a hankering for Bipimbap is I got the spelling ok. Theirs was tasty although in a stainless bowl but it didn't take away from the flavour. Great kimchi and I really hate bad kimchi. Partner had the special pad Thai. He said it was a bit sweet but he would have it again. We had the seared tuna bap as the opener. It is sort of sushi like and extremely tasty. Someone said previously this was expensive for a Korean restaurant. We found it was cheaper than we had paid before for a similar meal so I guess that depends what you are used to. The service was really good, not Leverkusen solicitous but still checked up on us enough that we felt looked after. All in all we will come back and look forward to trying other items on the menu. read more

Nicely decorated restaurant. It's a bit on the pricy side, but the portions are big and the quality is good. I haven't been back to Korea for twenty years, but the Kimchi chige (hot pot) took me back. It was so good, I had to order a Korean beer, Kass, to enjoy the full experience. My daughter had the Bibimbap bowl, with the customary,(but criticality important), fried egg on top. If they had Korean draft beer on tap, I would have given them 5 stars. read more

A fairly newly opened restaurant in Willoughby Town Centre, this is a great spot for korean food. It's not a korean bbq place, but rather, I would say it's more like a korean-fusion. Delicious korean food packed with flavour, great presentation and good service. If I were to give a food recommendation, I would say anything on their menu that centers around pork belly! So good! I currently have strep throat and have been having trouble swallowing food because of my tonsils so I wanted to opt for a nice spicy soup. Decided to order via skip the dishes since this place had such good reviews and honestly it was worth it. The servings were great, packaging was really nice and my food was still quite hot when it came here! I got the spicy seafood noodle soup and asked to make it extra spicy and they did! First time here! It was very yummy! We had the fried chicken (soy and garlic). The chicken was really juicy and it was really crispy. I would get the chicken again. Another item we had was the spicy stew with a mixture of sausages and other meat. I was hoping they would put ramen noodles but they put pasta which wasn't my favorite. Plus it wasn't spicy. It was really red, I thought it would taste spicy but didn't. I wouldn't get the stew again. But the staff was very nice. read more

It's not like your typical Korean resturant where you get the side dishes, tofu soup and black bean noodles, but they do offer a large selection of items in the menu and the food is very tasty. The fact that there isn't much competition in this area for Korean food doesn't attribute to my recommendation of this place as the place is clean, atmosphere is nice and quiet and the staff are very courteous and well mannered. Favorite dish so far is their japchae, but looking forward to trying more. read more

Tried this restaurant earlier this week and really enjoyed it. Liked it so much went back again! Had the bulgogi bibimbap with cilantro pepper sauce, it was very nicely presented and delicious! Well worth trying. Also had the bulgogi dumplings, very good. Service was prompt and friendly. We are very particular about our food and would highly recommend this restaurant! Went again last week and once again food was wonderful. Keep having the bibimbap as it is so good, also had the Korean fried chicken appy, chicken was excellent.
