    Seafood pancake

Tasty Korean food in Hope. We stopped by for lunch on our way home and it wasn't busy at first and then more people started to fill the place. A tour bus actually showed up with a large group, so it was bustling inside. Luckily we got our order in before everyone else arrived. Mandy soup- It was warm and comforting. It has egg, dumplings, and beef. I wish it had rice cakes in it to make it a bit more filling, but it did come with a side of rice. Seafood pancake- pretty good. It was crisp and had some peppers and seafood in it. I wish it had a bit more seafood in it though. Banchan- bean sprouts, kimchi, and pickled radish. All of them were great and made in house. We both enjoyed the kimchi because it was well balanced and wasn't just spicy. Overall, it was a pretty good meal. Prices are in line with other Korean restaurants. Staff were friendly and attentive. If I'm ever in the area, is happily come back.

I went to the Korean Kitchen for dinner with friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and had the opportunity to try some of their appetizers such as the pork Gyoza and tempura. For my entrée, I ordered the Tofu Avocado Korean Rice Bowl. Everything tasted great with the teriyaki sauce bring everything together. The ingredients were very fresh including the sliced avocado, and I really liked the deep-fried tofu. I was disappointed though to find out that they no longer serve sushi, as the sign points out in front of their restaurant. The service was admirable, and the interior look of the restaurant was good to say the least. I do recommend the Korean Kitchen for Asian cuisine alternative and would like to pay my patronage there again.

The beef bulgogi is the best I've ever tasted. We will be stopping for a meal whenever we're driving through Hope.

The bulgogi was flavorful, and balanced with vegetable in addition to meat. My husband ordered the dolsot bibimbap which was delicious as well. Only complaint is that the kimchi was a little underfermented (not sour enough for my liking). Also appreciated that the meal comes with barley tea, which is just what I needed on a rainy day. Disclaimer: The walls also show that if you give a 5-star review on Google, you get a free spring roll. I'm sorry, bribing your customers with free food does not seem right to me, so while I'd normally be more on the fence about whether my 4.5 star experience should be rounded up to 5, this bit of dishonesty makes me feel compelled to bring it down to 4.

The squid came out first and it was exactly as advertised. It was very tender and flavourful. The bibimbap came out next and came with all the fixings. It was very good and the left a clean bowl. Definitely will return, I'm very happy to have found a place in Chilliwack that serves Korean food that isn't just fried chicken.

The noodle dish was superficially like chicken chow mein, except the vegetables were fresh flavorful and perfect textured-- just a bit of crunch, not soggy at all-- a great complement to the house made fresh noodles. The chop suey was a very healthy dose of assorted vegetables-- cabbage, Napa cabbage, carrot, snow peas, broccoli, etc with more thin sliced beef. A very satisfying, well-prepared, and wholesome meal. Fortune cookies and dinner mints to cap it off. Our server paid great attention to us, and we had a great experience start to finish.

This place, tucked away just 5 minutes' driving distance from Coquitlam Centre, is clearly beloved by the local Korean community. The portion sizes are generous. They are perfect for sharing with family or friends. We saw many families and younger groups dining in, which gave it a cozy, homey vibe. We can taste the love and comfort in every bite. Here's what we ordered: * Beef Tartare Bibimbap - Not your typical bibimbap! The raw beef was beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. This was hands down our favourite dish! * Naengmyeon - Cold noodles in a super refreshing broth. Perfectly chewy with a balanced, savoury tang. A must-have on a hot day. * Japchae - Excellent portion, great price. The noodles were springy and not greasy at all--just the right balance of flavour. Great value, quality ingredients, and authentic flavours--Hansol is definitely going on our go-to list whenever we're craving comforting Korean food. We ordered short rib BBQ, Beef tartare Bibimbap, and original-flavor deep-fried chicken wings. Beef tartare Bibimbap was served in a hot stone bowl with a variety of vegetables on top of the rice. The gochujang sauce was served separately, allowing us to adjust the spiciness to our preference. It was a pretty good dish. The short rib BBQ was very tender and nicely seasoned. It was slightly on the sweeter side, very delicious. I will definitely order it again. The original flavor deep-fried chicken wings were served fresh and hot. They were incredibly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside--very good! Next time, I should order them with a flavored seasoning, as I already knew the original version was cooked with less saltiness, meant to be paired with a sauce. Overall, I really like this restaurant. The food tasted good, and the most notable point was the reasonable price! It was a very good deal, and it has now become one of my regular go-to places.
