    Honey garlic

After just coming back from Korea and having Korean fried chicken there, I give this place a 5 star! I came on a weekday mid afternoon so it was quiet here. I ordered the honey garlic chicken wings. Boy, this did not disappoint. The outside was super crispy (double fried perhaps). The inside was juicy. Sauce was on point- garlicky and sweet. It had everything I would look for in a good chicken wing! Lots of choices in this plaza, I would definitely come back here again.

honestly a staple to my restaurant rotation in SLC! This place is conveniently located in the Chinatown plaza and never disappoints! The owners are so sooo sweet! The service sometimes can take a while but that is to be expected in a Korean fried chicken restaurant (promise, it's worth the wait)! The serving sizes are big so don't expect no small wingstop wings, these are chunky the restaurant has ample seating and parking as well! Always a vibe coming here and would highly recommend!!

If you love Korean fried chicken, this is the place to be! Service is quick and the food is always piping hot! They have a variety of side dishes to go along with chicken as well including but not limited to: porridge, tteokbokki, fries, etc. Next time you're in Chinatown, stop by for some delicious KFC!

We found this place while looking around at all the options for lunch at the Asian marketplace. It's no surprise ChickQueen is so highly rated. We were in the mood for the spicy chicken pieces, tempura potato fries with delicious dipping sauce and the fried chicken potstickers. Hot and made to order. Loved everything about this place. Everything was clean and neat. We will be back!

10 Piece Jumbo Chicken Wings with 2 Flavors: Honey Garlic and Spicy Hot
    Bethany W.

First and foremost, the fried chicken flavors here are really tasty. Both the honey garlic and spicy hot sauces were really good and flavorful. I wish the spicy hot had some acidic kick to it too though. My main reason for the 4 stars is the "jumbo chicken" they fried. There was so much jelly-like fat inside (near the bones) it was too much for us tbh. We all preferred the smaller wings over the huge drumsticks. The crunchy exterior to meat ratio was more balanced with the wings haha. I liked the breading on the fried chicken, but I could've done with a thicker and even crunchier outside. Also one of my drumsticks was definitely raw, but they took it and gave me two wings back (had to wait a bit though). We all thought they should let the chicken sit for a bit after frying, to cool down a little and let it crisp up before adding the sauces. Overall, great flavor and unique breading. If I come back, I'll ask specifically for wings (not drumsticks) and I want to try the tempura fries!

The owner is super nice and has a very bubbly character. The service was 10/10. The interior of the place was also super nice. I loved the art on the wall. I also liked the fact that there's an opening to the back kitchen area so you can see how they operate. We ordered: 5 piece chicken x2 Combo with plain fries and a drink Since we dined in, the owner gave us a free extra drink cup since he apparently "loves his dine in customers" which I thought was sweet of him. The food came out pretty quick and piping hot ready to eat. They were nicely battered and very flavorful. I loved the flavor garlic one more than I liked the spicy one but they both tasted good. The drumsticks were more battered than the wings but I'm not complaining. Some people might not like that though. The fries were also nicely battered and he gave us complimentary testers of their sauces to try it out with the fries to see if we liked it or not. This place definitely satisfied my craving for Korean fried chicken wings and would definitely come back again if I'm ever in Utah.

Back again, and the consistency of the food is just great! Service as well! Spicy tempura fries are still to die for, while the honey garlic and spicy boneless wings are still my go tos. Flavors are great, portions are great, just wish the consistency of the cooking of the chicken was better (a few pieces come out overcooked and tough every time). Do ask for the complementary side of the radish, it's fantastic!

Swung by Chinatown Supermarket to get a quick bite to eat at ChickQueen. We were the only customers in the place which made us nervous, but opted to try it anyway. We ordered two small orders of boneless chicken bites, one in their spicy sauce and one in their honey sauce. They unfortunately only had chicken that day so we didn't order any sides. We chose to eat there and the food came out super quick and super fresh. The sauces were flavorful but thankfully not too spicy, and the chicken was so crispy. It would have been nice to eat the chicken with a side of rice or fries just so we were eating only chicken, but maybe next time. I would definitely eat here again!

I got the 10 pieces honey garlic for takeout. I called in 7 mins in advance and it was ready when I got there. They do make their food fast. This restaurant located in the market, closer to the front entrance. This is so far one of the best Korean fried chicken I have tried. Their batter is well seasoned and very crispy. And the sauce is just right, did not make the chicken soggy. Definitely would come back again if I'm in Utah.

This place never disappoints, my kids and I both love it and will keep going back for more! The chicken is so tender and the flavors are so good!! We tend to enjoy the sweeter flavors more and always add a side of rice. There's not a lot of searing but ambiance is nice and fast casual, but we often do to go and just eat it right away!

Which was made up of perfectly fried pork topped with Dukes mayo (my fav), ranch-kraut (my new fav), and dill. You can really taste the ingredients which is such a plus for me as too many ingredients in a sandwhich can get muddy. - They had a special butternut squash soup with calabrian chili which was phenomenal. At only $3 it was a perfect side for winter. CONS: - Pricey. I think at this price point if it added a bag of chips or some time of fruit or a small little side or maybe a can of soda included it would be a perfect meal and a very reasonable price point. My only suggestion.

The owner was kind and helped me pick between the two sandwiches I was being indecisive about - the Oh Schnitzel and the Hot Chopped Cheese. He asked if I could handle spicy and I said yes. I let him choose a sandwich for me between the two and he chose the Hot Chopped Cheese and said he thinks I'd enjoy it. He described it as a sandwich with chopped-up cheeseburger fillings inside, and they use a lamb and beef patty instead of just beef. Right, he was. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich and the meat was spiced and slightly spicy, but nothing I couldn't handle. The sandwich was flavorful, and I'm impressed that the bread wasn't too thick because sometimes places serve sandwiches with way too much bread-to-filling ratio. The bread was also a nice texture, I'm glad it wasn't too toasty or crunchy like some sandwiches can get that rub the roof of my mouth raw. I felt like I had a well-balanced meal out of the Chopped Cheese. Flavor-packed meat, cheese, veggies, bread - that's all you need. The food was delicious, and I don't doubt that the rest of the items on the menu taste great, but the prices feel high, yes, even in this economy. I say this because I was able to finish this sandwich and still felt I had room to eat some more, perhaps a little snack. I almost always cannot comfortably finish my food in one sitting when dining out, so that was a sign to me that this wasn't all that much food, and I could tell from the get-go because the sandwich did look small.
