It's rare to be at such complete ease with your level of trust to someone you just met. But Karl's affable personality and amazing technical knowledge puts you at ease the moment you meet him. The first car we we're charge a ridiculous fee for labor for a problem that he didn't even fix claiming we told him we would have it done somewhere else. We paid him more than $400 to not have it fixed. Took it to another mechanic that charged us $200 to actually fix it! We continue to get the run around on a truck has been at true speed for over 2 months! We've already given John over $2000 for repairs that have not been done! We keep hearing excuses that they can't finish because they keep receiving the "wrong part". The 3rd car we made a huge mistake buy sending one of our customers to John. The original quote increased by more than $200 and was weeks later than promised. Our customers finally got it back today only to find out that one of the O2 sensors than was supposed to have been repaired hasn't been. We're having to take it to another mechanic again who says it will be about $275 and can have it in a few days. In the mean time we are lending them one of our cars for the second time because we feel so bad that they keep getting screwed over by John. We are just starting out and are barely making it ourselves. We lose money everyday that this truck is sitting at his shop not getting anything done. At this point all he has done is make things worse. It isn't drive-able and we can't afford to take it to another mechanic to have it fixed. We have to make huge payment to our bank every month- but John apparently doesn't care about his customers, deadlines or actually running his business. John is as crooked as they come! Once receiving his payment Richard seem to be nicer. But my honest opinion he cut my services short and looked at me as an easy buck. Even after the second encounter he wasn't confident that the issues were fixed in his own work and assumed I would most likely still have to come in and purchase an all new carburetor for him to install being my 3rd time in for the same issue. With carburetors they can be rebuilt, at a cheaper cost. So purchase a brand new one wouldn't be necessary. Just an easier job for him to make money on.

I am Ric Martinez's Manager here in Reno…read more In Marks later unfounded, furry and accusations at Ric, Mark had asked for a call from Ric's boss, that would be me. I immediately called Mark back. All he did was scream over the phone. When I tried to address the issues that he claimed he was having, all he did was hang up. Very unprofessional. I then called his boss Roland, set an appointment to see him the following Monday morning. Roland and I discussed the deal, and Roland really didn't have any of the issues that Mark claimed he had. Just so you who reads this knows, the order was for a truckload of Ice-Melt. That is 18 pallets, 48 bags per pallet, for a total of 864 bags. (I sell these same orders all over 8 western states all throughout the winter) That truckload has a weight value of about 45,000 pounds, and originates out of Salt Lake City Utah. Ric, being a new salesman at the time with Brody, called me immediately after Mark committed to the sale to tell me about the deal. The original deal was at ? dollars a bag, and that we would ?????. Simple deal. And as we all know that unless you can provide a State of Nevada Resale Tax number, there will be tax on every sale. That is a given, we all pay tax on goods purchased. Ric takes extremely good notes on everything he does, and immediately after seeing a client before he goes on to the next. There is no mention of anything in regards to there being no tax on this sale. Neither Ric or I have authority to waive someones taxes on a sale, and is never even a consideration to make a sale. Here, Mark is just showing his inexperience in business. In regards to Marks freight accusations, once again, I think that Mark was just trying to pull a fast one. I see employees try this from time to time. I just chuckle at them, anyone with experience in business knows why. Anyway to help keep the customer happy I agreed to pick up the freight in total for this sale. Roland, Marks boss, seemed to be very pleased with the deal, and thanked us both. Mark, I feel sorry for you. Your inexperience and unprofessionalism will always keep you from excelling in life. I wish you luck in getting a handle on your emotions. It will pay you great dividends in the end. ALSO, anyone considering doing business with Kromer Investments, should just bypass Mark V. and deal directly with Roland his boss to avoid this unnecessary harassment.
