I tried their Thanksgiving "Sides-Giving" in 2024 to ease my stress level of preparing a perfect turkey & side dishes. Alpine Events provided me such an impressive spread for my guests! Their chicken apple sausage stuffing was a show stopper, their roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes with gravy had everyone swooning. And their relish tray was so thoughtfully put together, fresh and HUGE! I stashed that cranberry / raspberry spread just for myself, late at night, atop those delightful rolls. So good. Bonus: When I picked up my order, I was astounded at how lovely their dining area is. Gorgeous high ceilings with rustic exposed beams, lots of windows allowing the natural light to dance in and they've got their liquor license! Where have I been to miss this? Can't wait to sign myself up for their next pop up dinner. I'm hooked!!

It was intimate, lovely and yummy!! Thank you Jan & Dani, you made the evening so special and memorable. And now we can even take our little dog. This time I came myself for 4 nights, and stayed on the 3rd floor for the first time; just right for 1 small grandma. My room was near the bathroom and kitchen, which was great, because I brought my own food (health problems & prefer to spend $ on my family). The A/C in the window was noisy when on but worked great and I turned it off at night anyway (It's only May 3). My nebulizer is prob just as noisy. When my husband and I came in Oct. we loved walking down the street to Natalia's café on the corner for the free breakfast at the was included then with our second floor rooms...just fun for us. If you stay on the third floor you have to pay but it's still only $7.95 or so. The kitchen has microwave, reg. fridge, and Kirkland dark coffee we like. (I bring my own decaffe too:-) The staff is great; personable, helped me bring my luggage up without my asking. But know it's European. Hot water took awhile to get to 3rd floor shower...but it's fun to feel like I'm "back to the future" in 1911.... in a novel for a few minutes. I can walk all over town at night in safety and quiet. And this quiet retreat is just what I needed after my spouse's sad and serious diagnosis. I walked nearby beautiful Round Lake Fri. morning and met a new friend, an unexoected dimension, and learned more about resilience facing cancers worse than mine. Count your blessings.

The room was only about $90 a night. A great price. The hotel was built in 1911 and has a lot of character. I'll go there again if I visit that area again.

I want to start off by saying this is not the first time I have been to this venue. I have been…read morehere several times... for example - our friends had their daughter's graduation there, other friends got married there and this summer we attended their Wine Down Your week event that we saw on Facebook. Since the events were all a few years apart, I noticed on the recent visits that there have been so many great changes and additions that they have made to make the Venue even better. You can tell much work and love goes into making everything beautiful and magical. I first reviewed this place in 2022 and liked it then.. However until now I have never had MY even there. With that being said, I am writing this review due to my last experience with them on October 4th. I was there because my family threw me a surprise birthday party. Yippee.... I was so excited my family had picked Jacquot Vineyard for the location. The pavilion/reception area is so pretty. There are rows of grapes, the mural on the building across the grass, the bar area and of course the lights in the evening work perfectly together. From what my husband and daughters planned the event for several months and the owners were very helpful and accommodating to what my family was trying to pull off. They were very accomodating based on the venue's ability. The communication was excellent and we were provided attentive service. The owners even participated in the ruse to get me there to not spoil the surprise... that is above and beyond. I wish that I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars. I so appreciate that I was able to have my birthday at this beautiful venue. The care and attention that they put into a simple birthday party is refreshing. At one point in the evening one of the owners took time to show my sister in law the grapes and talk to her about the wine production and picking of the grapes that was happening the next week. Yes, this is a working vineyard where the pretty purple and white grapes are not for show, they are made into the amazing wine they sell. They have a very good Pinot. They even grow blackberries there and make a yummy blackberry wine (not too sweet either). We had a few different wines that night and all were good. A few guests even purchased bottles to take home Oh and I can't forget the sunset from the pavilion is spectacular. What a view they have. I am blessed that I was able to have a special celebration there. I want to express my sincere gratitude to them for helping my family make this a birthday to remember.

The manager of the venue, Trace, worked with us every step of the way to make sure that my Dad's Celebration Of Life was smooth and beautiful. The folks Jacquot folk were super friendly and so easy to work with. 11/10 would recommend booking this venue. Thanks Jacquot!
