Yelp helped us find a place for lunch in Bolton, ON and it no mistake. Cheeks is reminiscent of a…read moresmall local eatery. It knows what it is, with a menu consisting primarily of burgers & wings, limited sandwich options, a few pasta dishes, and some salads. Yes, it's licensed to serve adult beverages. We came for the burgers and this turned out to be the right choice, specifically the Banquet Burger is one of the best I've had in recent memory. The patty itself is hand formed from fresh beef and cooked to perfection i.e., fully cooked yet very juicy. Make sure you use a napkin and take your bit over your plate. (Our server wisely brought us extra napkins.) The back bacon accompanying the beef patty was well prepared and decent sized also, a very nice Banquet Burger indeed. I also loved the crisp pickle and very much enjoyed the fries. An interesting aside. One of the condiments on the table was "Max & Marcus" prepared mustard. It's labelled "Montreal Deli Style". I didn't need it for my meal but was intrigued as a departure from the usual "French's" or even generic. I had to taste it and determined that it is indeed "premium" as claimed and would absolutely choose it over the usual suspects. Cheeks is very close to a busy corner yet there is a free parking lot very close by. It was April when we were there so the Patio was not yet in service however we got a very nice table near the window. Service was cheerful, quick, and attentive. The place didn't seem especially large yet I'd definitely be back particularly as it's not far from the baseball fields at which we occasionally have a game.

Only tried it once, but it was enjoyable. Forget exactly which burger I had but it was good, worth…read morea visit. Friendly staff too!

Burger was pretty good - you can tell it's freshly made to order. To watch the lady make the burger through the window to the grille - wow! I have rarely seen someone take such care in making the burger. Prepared and packed perfectly - everything spot on centre of bun. Just enough sauce. Just enough seasoning. Glad I tried this one.

Like the fact you have 3 options for buns - Brioche, Sesame and Poppyseed. Overall though I found the burger just average. Meat was ok but bit bland tasting imo even with the Acme sauce on it. - Grilled Chicken - added mushrooms to this sandwich. Chicken was a good portion size but just average again imo. Chicken Acme sauce has some kick to it vs the burger version. Service (3.75/5) - Server at front was friendly, however was a bit on slow side getting the orders. Atmosphere (3.75/5) - it has this classic burger joint feel to it with bright colours and clean overall. Parking can be tricky if it's busy with limited spots. Overall (3.75/5) - it's a perfectly fine burger joint however nothing really stood out for me food wise. They seem to be busy enough and have been on this corner for a few years now.

Tips: - This place makes kunafa chocolate bars…read more - This eatery has a fountain drink machine. It was nice to get refills. I'm at 4,100 reviews with this one. It's cool and crazy. Frankly, it doesn't feel like I've written so many. A recent Yelp experience introduced me to Fancy Induced Burger. I loved the food and drink. It has milkshakes and kunafa chocolate bars that make me so happy. I came here after work on a Friday. I took Highway 7 straight across York and Peel regions to get to Fancy Induced Burger. It was helpful to see the eatery's sign at the corner. Traffic sucked just before hitting highway 400, which is typical along Highway 7, especially during rush hour. This eatery is located in a plaza with the most cool businesses. It's anchored by an Esso and a Circle K. There is plenty of parking in this plaza. I backed into a parking spot steps away from the entrance. I walked in. I liked the neon Pickup Here sign and angel wings. It's a cute space. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They were patient as I was contemplating what I wanted. I was impressed that the menu had two mushroom beef burgers. Normally, there's one, which would make me happy. Two of them was amazing! I saw guacamole as a topping on the creamy mushroom beef burger. I went with it and onion rings as my side. My combo came with a fountain drink. I got a cup and hit the fountain drink machine. A third of the drink offerings were unavailable, which included Fruitopia. I was happy to see Fuze and Diet Coke. I went with the latter. To the left of the fountain machine is the washroom. It's a single stall that you press a button when you're inside to lock the door. It was clean. I was pleased. I sat in a comfy booth. The air conditioning was effective. I liked it because it was a hot day and it cooled us off instantly. Staff let you know that your food is ready. You basically go to the pickup counter and fetch it. Simple! The onion rings had a light, crispy coating. I liked them. They were yummy and not overly salty. The beef burgers here are supposed to be smashed. The beef patty looked like a regular patty. It didn't have crispy edges and wasn't thin. Still, as a burger fan, I loved how yummy it was. It was cooked all the way through. This place was generous with the mushrooms. It was messy eating this burger. I originally got a single napkin, which didn't cut it. I asked for more napkins and got some. Much better! I actually used the cute umbrella decoration to spear every mushroom slice that fell out of my burger as I ate it. Besides the creamy sliced mushrooms, this burger also had grilled onions, guacamole, mustard, and mayo. The guacamole was on the thinner, runnier side. Along with the other sauces and grilled onions, it made sense why I had guacamole, including the exterior of both bun halves. I will say that the mustard did overpower everything at first. Once the mustard was gone, I could taste the grilled onions and everything else. This place uses red onions, which was cool. This burger had the perfect amount of salt. I liked my Diet Coke. It was cold with the ice and fizzy. I got a refill before we left. This eatery sells kunafa chocolate bars. I bought one. It's not cheap at $8 a bar. Then again, they are expensive being a hot commodity these days. The bar is roughly 80% kunafa and 20% milk chocolate. I liked the look of the chocolate bar with the pretty colouring. Maybe it was a hot day, but this bar was delicate to break and eat. There wasn't enough milk chocolate to hold the crispy kunafa bits. The chocolate was also malleable. Maybe it needed to be in a cooler location to harden, like under the air conditioning? I still enjoyed this bar. I'm glad that I got one. I had a wonderful experience. I am still dreaming about that messy burger. I'd like a milkshake the next time I'm here. (216)
