Friendly and professional, he let me know he was working on another site but could be by my house in about 45 minutes. True to his word, he was there just under that. He tried to pick the lock for me, but it was apparently a really solid lock (only time in my life I prayed to hear that something on my house wasn't super secure, go figure). He ended up having to replace it. He was quick, efficient, and was able to use my extra house key to match the lock up so I wouldn't have a different key for the deadbolt. Perfect. Price was reasonable, and totally worth it for how quick he was. I'm pleased enough that he literally just left, and the first thing I did was get on Yelp to leave him a review. You go sue me!" After I post a negative but truthful review on google, another owner Derick Goodman finally responded me ( 2 weeks after I emailed him). In the email, there was no explanation of Steve's misbehaviors. Instead, he asked me to remove my review otherwise he would cease all the communication and work on our house and pursue immediate legal action. My original review was posted on Google 3 days ago which was the very first review ever posted on their Google business page and they found a way to remove it today. At the same time, suddenly a few positive reviews popped up on to their page including at least one from Steve's relatives. I sincerely wish and actually believed there are real customers out there who are happy and satisfied about their experience with this company. I wish we could be treated equally like those people and simply enjoy our new house just like other people did. But unfortunately, we were not that lucky. If you are still considering to use this company, I hope you will be luckier than us. A piece of advice: please pay attention to details and please be aware of their one year warranty. It's nothing like the common one year warranty for a new construction. Make sure you understand all the limitations. You will be shocked how limited the warranty is.

This place is a COMPLETE SCAM. I'm writing this to warn others of their shady business practices so…read moreno one else has to go through what we are dealing with. We paid 'American Roofing Co.' thousands of dollars to fix our roof that was leaking in Dec 2019. We signed a contract that guarantees their work for 10 years. Not even a year later, there are water stains in our ceiling from a leaking roof. We have been trying to contact Perry and his son for months, and they have been ignoring our calls, messages, and emails. At this point, we may have to take legal action. It would be nice if they were willing to rectify the issue themselves instead of going this route, but at this point Perry and his son have left us no other option. You can tell they have been a shady practice for a while by their many, many name changes. You can find them under 'American Roofing Co' or 'ARC', 'American Roofing Team', 'All Purpose Roofing' and 'Apex Roofing Experts'. If you are changing your name that much in under a year, they are clearly doing this for a reason. I wouldn't doubt if they are scamming their customers on a weekly basis. I even received a message from someone on Yelp right after I had left such a lovely review for American Roofing Co. This person hired and paid ARC to fix their roof, and shortly after they starting having issues. This person also could not get a hold of Perry or anyone at the company, as they were ignoring their calls. I thought this was strange but reassured this person that ARC was a trustworthy company. HA! Booyy was I wrong! We had a new roofing company come over and take a look at the damage that American Roofing Co has done, and nothing that we had paid for was actually completed. Be aware, and run far, FAR away from this business. We are still waiting to hear back from this lovely company for either a refund or to come fix what we paid them to do. I will update this review if we hear back.
