I also used him to install a new garage door opener for my dad. Again very responsive. But about a month or two afterwards, the garage door got stuck and then collapsed. I tried to call Andy over the weekend, left voice message and texted. No response. Monday and Tuesday pass by, tried calling. Again no response. Finally went with another service I agree with other customers, Andy is very nice. But when it comes time to actually addressing other issues besides actually installing a new garage door or opener, Andy is very hard to get a hold of. That's why I gave only three stars. read more

I spoke to Andy and was happy with the quote and the ability to fit me in the following day. The next day we were hit with a ice/snow event and I hoped Andy would still make it. Recently my torsion cable broke on my garage door, this being the first time anything has broken on my garage door, I looked to yelp to find a good service provider. By and far Andy's Garage Door Service was on the top of the list. I called Andy and made an appointment and he was prompt with his arrival. After quoting me a price over the phone for a broken cable, he arrived to my location and after looking over my door he realized that I in fact did not have a broken cable, it simply unhinged. Right then and there he lowered the cost saying that it would be a simple fix. Who else would do that? After investigating my whole door he found why my cable had become unhinged and adjusted the rails and springs to make sure my door would open/close like new.
