The food was horrible, I'm a person that doesn't like complaining and making people feel bad. The Chifa was old, we noticed it was reheated in the microwave and the Ceviche was terrible. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. Unexpectedly good food from an unassuming restaurant in the middle of nowhere - in a good way. The food was very good (with one exception listed below) and the service was very friendly and outstanding. Must get the Lomo Saltado with the mixed Chaufa (fried rice). We had just gotten back from Miami where we had lots of Peruvian food and this Lomo Saltado was better than the ones we had in Miami! Some of the most tender steak ever - kissed by the "wok hei" giving it that extra umami. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. The french fries were also very crispy and delicious and tasted extra special when dipped in that Saltado sauce. All in all an excellent value and a true hidden gem. read more

We stopped here for lunch on a drive from Massachusetts to Ohio. There is both street parking and a parking lot. The restaurant is huge with a large bar and seating upstairs and downstairs. We ordered the half roasted chicken with French fries and a salad, combination fried rice, and Garlic Chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly and came with delicious dipping sauces. The salad dressing was also very tasty! The fried rice was fantastic!! It was moist and had a delicious combination of spices. The sauce on the Garlic Chicken was also really good, and the dish was made with big pieces of moist chicken. It was amazingly good portions were large and the service was reasonably quick. it was $15.50 before tip and I had enough leftover for dinner. Portion sizes are large and prices are very reasonable. We had 4 entrees, 4 appetizers, and an extra side for around $100 and we brought home 4 containers of food. The green sauce is so creamy with just a hint of heat at the end. The orange sauce is a delicious spicy peri peri meets habenero. The tamarind sauce is rich and tangy. Whenever I see a fusion of two food ethnicities I get curious. Spotting this place in Scranton while out here visiting family certainly grabbed my attention and I'm so glad we went. The Peruvian Chinese mix is insane. So delicious. The servings are huge and the $10 lunch special is incredible value. You get more food than you can eat plus a can of soda. Ten bucks. Like just ten bucks. Which is less than a Happy Meal made of McFake food. I had the pineapple chicken with a mountain of delicious chicken fried rice. The chicken is crispy and tender. The veggies are crunchy and fresh. Since I didn't expect the entree to be so huge we also ordered the fried calamari and it was a showstopper. The calamari is in the lightest batter and topped with chopped jalapeños and the dipping sauce is also a spicy delight. I'm glad we have a few more days in Scranton so we can hit this place a few more times and explore the menu more fully. read more

We came here thinking it was authentic Peruvian when we ordered our plantains they came out with garlic which we then realized it was infused with Chinese. I ordered the staple dish Lomo Saltado it was 0 for me the fries were soggy the meat was slimey and chewy. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was ok but definitely not a Peruvian spot.
