Unfortunately, when we booked his camp this year, we were notified 3 days later that I was being transferred for work to another state. When we asked for a refund, they told us there was a $60 processing fee that was non-refundable. In spite of being repeat customers, and funneling our son's friends to their camp as well, they would not budge on this, despite the short gap between the purchase and the request for a refund. You would think with how many camps there are in the Atlanta area, they'd work with us to maintain a good reputation in the community. This is a dishonest practice and we will discourage our friends in the area from using their services in the future.

There is a short walk from the main "west chapel" and cabins which pass this view, which definitely makes the walk enjoyable. There are many activities to choose from, which I unfortunately did not get a chance to partake in due to my fatigue (I passed out on the uncomfortable bunk bed during our free time). I heard there was paddle-boating on the lake, an archery range, a playground for younger children, a small basketball court with basketballs provided, and much more. While there are cabins available for living, you can also choose to stay in the "trains," which are located much closer to the dining area. The food is subpar, what you would expect from a camp like this much slightly better. This camp, as was pointed out to me by some friends, was in much better shape than many of these types of campsites I'd been to in the past. It's slightly smaller but perfect for a group of between 50-100 people. Mattresses are terrible, so bring a mattress pad for the picky sleepers. You will also need all of your own toiletries, bed sheets, blankets (sleeping bag) and pillow. I was only here for a weekend and I'm usually uncomfortable staying outside of my comfort zone, but this was quite nice and hopefully more events I am a part of could be held here instead.

Her lack of specifics is highly suspect and perhaps the work of a competitor. Amber E is probably trying to reduce the ratings of a good small business that provides a great computer coding program for the kids. I stand by everything I have said in my review of stremhq. I am in no way even related to the owner of stremhq. I just know we had a great experience with the programs at stremhq vs the other computer coding programs we have attended this summer. These two young caregivers were so busy talking to each other and not caring for any of the children they didn't even notice I had entered the room. When I complained to the owner she made excuses. But if your kids love being challenged and love the outdoors, this is where you want them. My son is going to camp here for the seventh summer in a row and there is no place he would rather be. Our daughter loved being a camper here so much the five summers that she came here that she is spending this summer as a counselor. The kids stay busy doing things like tubing on Carter Lake, rafting, swimming, horseback riding in addition to playing amazing tribal games. But there is also a focus on spending time with God and how important that is for us. The counselors and staff are simply amazing. They are fun and full of energy and love and compassion. I could not recommend this camp more highly. It is truly magnificent.
