Children's choice has been one of the best choices I've made for both of my kids. My son attended from 18mo.-5yrs. I remember him counting and saying his colors in Spanish at 18 months! He developed a true love for learning and exploring. He was potty trained and taught social skills and school procedures. Everyday he was greeted with hugs and love by ALL the staff! Most days when I would pick him up, he wanted to stay because he was having so much fun. When my son started experiencing some behavioral issues Ms. Freda worked very hard to help and support my son. My daughter started at 4 months and was loved and greeted by the staff before she was even born. LOL Mrs. Candis and all of the staff in the baby room took such great care of her. Putting her in daycare so young didn't scare me because I knew she would receive a great amount of attention, love and care. I was updated with pictures and texts regularly throughout the week. My daughter came home with some of the cutest art projects etc. which let me know she wasn't just sitting around all day. Children's choice is a great place to send your kids. My son started daycare at 5 months old. As got older and moved into a bigger classroom, he started to have biting problem. I didn't everything under the sun to get this problem under control. I did speech therapy and ABa therapy through the San Diego Regional Center. I kept the staff informed over everything that was going on. We even tried to come up with a behavior plan, and it didn't work. So. I got my son assessed for autism, and guess what, he is autistic. And we are talking high functioning. Once we got the diagnosis, I kept them informed of all the goings on, including him getting in daycare help from Easter Seals. And as anyone knows, getting this kind of in school help takes a minute. It doesn't happen overnight. You need to go through intake and assessments. They did not care at all. They kicked him out before help could come. They had no sympathy or empathy or compassion for a kid with autism. He is now thriving in a new daycare with daycare help from Easter Seals. He has an ABA therapist 2 hours a day every day of the week at daycare. He hasn't had a biting or behavioral incident in months. All they had to do was wait. But I was told that they weren't sure they could help a kid like Milo even with the diagnosis and help. I'd also like to mention that I did get in trouble with them after the expulsion because I was very very upset with their decision and couldn't hold back. I wanted to fight for my kid and for fairness. I will always be on my kids side and be their advocate. So there was no appeals process. I should have kept my cool, but I felt like I did everything right and they just saw him as a problem with no solution. I even tried to contact their main office to tell them of the diagnosis and the process for what happens next. I called and emailed several times with no response for almost two weeks. If you have a child that has any type of special needs, do not go here. read more

The "enrollment specialist" Kayla, was very unprofessional. I had already been promised a spot for my baby, toured the facility, and received an enrollment packet. When I texted, Kayla, about the Covid-19 policy, if the teachers were vaccinated, they denied my baby a spot in the school saying it was all of a sudden "full" after I asked the question. When I replied that I thought the spot was being held for me, I never got a response. It was obvious she was lying. The spot didn't magically fill up hours later. She didn't like that I asked about the Covid vaccine and discriminated against me. If there really was someone else interested in the spot she should have had the courtesy to let me know and given me 24 hours, or something like that, to get the paperwork in. Just beware that if you try to enroll your baby here that they are not trustworthy and honest. read more

(Children's Choices) I feel the customer service provided including the teacher's performance is poorly. I have reached out a few times in regards to my child leaving messages asking for the teacher to return my phone calls. I am a single father who would of liked to be informal with updates on how my kid is doing. My experience has not been good. They have not returned any of my phone calls. It concerns me? I feel wronged for that matter disrespected by this business for not taking out the time or consideration to return my calls. I would of liked to speak with them about important issues. I did not receive any verbal assistance about my kid progress or areas that need to be worked on. Parenting is a big concern for me. Paying attention to the teacher and having respectful behavior is a must. I need results so I can properly address the matters that concern the teachers as well as me. Worst daycare ever . Heard lots of complaints from both the teachers at the center and families that Ms Freeda who happens to be the director of their location on Madison and she's the lead for all there locations I don't know how but this lady yells at the kids and teachers and it's a teacher in my kids class that told me about this issue so I told their COO who is their CEO also this lady don't act on issues raised coz Freeda has been at the center for years and they cannot say nothing to her and this puts the kids in danger so I had to let the CPS know about this and they are doing an investigation on all locations where teachers are all anonymous. If your child is very young I mean an infant please don't take her to this location coz they ain't clean at all . They don't put the baby's milk in the fridge and they just give it to the baby yet breast milk is meant to be out for two hours and now my baby was admitted coz of this . Ms Freeda is so mean that I had to also let the police know about her . If your kid also goes to the 18 month class please please be aware of her coz she gives those lil babies time outs for 2 mins and they even don't know better and she yells at them too which is so evil coz they don t know.# let Freeda be fired # Also directors from the san tee location and Prescott know about her but they cannot say anything coz she's their lead but they know she's rude but they keep quiet which is so evil. read more

This is the 2nd daycare we've been to for our 16 month old, after having a horrible experience at our 1st daycare, this place was a Godsend. Miss Jenni gave us a weekend tour in-person, which was such a relief especially during COVID and being able to see the facility put us at ease. The teachers are all very warm and loving, and take great care of the little ones. My child is still adjusting to being separated from me but he comes home happy, well fed, with incredible art projects, and well cared for (which I can tell, after receiving daily updates through their mobile app). I have entrusted Children's Choice with the care of my daughter for almost a year now. They have treated my entire family as their own family. We are greeted every morning with smiles and my daughter is excited every single morning to go with her teachers. I have very high expectations for anyone caring my daughter and I have yet to meet a teacher at Children's Choice who have NOT met those expectations. read more

There are so many things we all worry about as parents, most of all where we send our children during the day. Children's choice has relieved that worry and exceeded my expectations In every sense. The staff are completely friendly and caring, they took the time to really find out about my child and about my wife and I as parents. They greet us with smiles and first name basis every time we are there. I've had several opportunities to watch them care for my daughter and it's as if they're her family. I urge anyone looking for a warm, loving environment for their children to (pardon the pun) make it the children's choice. read more

Be aware they are not following state guidelines for child safety! I noticed with my own eyes young babies being Propped for their milk bottle! They lay the baby on the floor then put a blanket around their neck and prop bottle! Also noticed babies in high chair for long periods of time crying! Staff is all new always changing and some young as 18 years old. I do not suggest this place for your child's safety and well-being. read more

The facility is clean and very inviting. All the teachers and director are great. I have brought my kids to this school/daycare since 2015. It has been so comforting leaving both my children in their hands. Both my boys have absolutely loved every teacher they have had and created such a special bond. My daughter has been attending Children's Choice on Madison since she was 18 months old. As first time parents, we were extremely cautious with where, and with whom, she would be spending her time, growing and learning. Everyone is friendly, caring, helpful and supportive. Her teacher's are an extension to our family, as they spend time to ensure she is well cared for and receives instruction based on her skill level each day. Her teacher's go the extra mile to help provide additional feedback to align parenting and teacher expectations to reinforce behaviors for educational growth and personal interaction, in preparation for kindergarten. Our daughter enjoys going to Children's Choice on Madison every day and we are grateful knowing she is in a safe, clean, caring and education driven environment. Deciding on what daycare or preschool to enroll your children in can be a scary decision...I am so grateful for Children's Choice at Madison coming into my life over 6 years ago! My son went to this place during spring break for 2 weeks and while the staff was friendly, my son came home upset most days because another child bullied him and he said the staff did not take his claims seriously. On his last day he left very upset because another kid spilled some beads and lied to the teacher and told them it was my son and he tried explaining that it wasn't him and they said that he was lying and made him clean the mess up and sit out from activities that afternoon. While my son doesn't lie, I know there are two sides to every story however, if you didn't witness a child do something then I think the better option would be to make both children clean the mess up. Also, every time we went to the facility there was a marijuana smell in the area. Not from the facility but from somewhere close by. Just something to note. We won't be going back to this facility. read more

I truly love how they are amazing with my son. They are so excited to see him everyday and express their love for him. I love how they interact with him and they tend to give him a lot of TLC. Everytime they take pictures of him they are excited to share them as if he was their biological child. He has a lot of stimulation from going outside, trying fun foods, event theme days and finding ways to keep them busy. They always keep parents informed on everything even if it's just a simple daylight savings time notification. You also get well in Advance on holiday closures and or early days to make proper arrangements. This daycare is easy to communicate with especially on days you miss your baby abs you want a cute picture. My son is not school age, however I do see they have a good distance learning set up. read more

This place has my heart. They treated my daughter as if she was their own. My daughter always looked forward to seeing her teachers face. She is now in second grade and still requests to visit everyone. Staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. They also have many activities going on for the kids during the summer. My son also attended children's choice and loved it. He was transported from children's choice to his elementary school. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

I absolutely love this daycare! All the staff has been very wonderful. I started taking my son there when he was 7 months old and he's now 2 1/2! This place is like a second family. The curriculum and structure they have has been so educational for my son! I was terrified of taking my son to a daycare when it was time for me to go back to work, but they made the transition easy and I felt he was happy and safe. I wouldn't take my child anywhere else. They are family oriented and really care about the children and their families. You can't beat the price either!! I couldn't have chosen a better place! read more

From me and my daughters experience we loved this daycare. She's been here now for awhile now(almost 2 yrs). She does great she's learned a lot and the staff is very friendly to her and me. Very bad experience at this facility. My son was not acknowledge by the staff in the morning when he arrived. They lost my diapers and I had to leave work to go bring them more diaper as they said "we don't keep extra diapers on site". They regularly were serving pop tarts for breakfast. I ended up taking my son out of this daycare. read more
