I strongly urge you to think twice before enrolling your child in this "daycare." My child attended from the time she was 3 months old until she was 18 months. During that time, we saw a high turnover of employees. My child frequently had scratches on her face because the teacher had too many toddlers in the class and was unable to provide proper attention. They also did not change my daughter's diaper properly, and I was informed that they were not allowed to wipe her from front to back. Additionally, they charged my 2-year-old $10.00 for a couple of slices of pizza from Little Caesars. Then, they had the audacity to withhold my tax form and not inform me that I had a balance due when I unenrolled my daughter. I spoke to the director, Amanda, but of course, she never called me back. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! read more

My son started at this facility on April 6, 2021. I felt at ease knowing that there was camera access so that I could monitor his day. If it had not been for the cameras I would not have known the neglect my son would had received. I knew that it would be an adjustment due to him being home with granny for 20 months. I had no issue with him crying at drop off. But it was obvious the staff was not trained to aide a child in the transition from home to daycare. None of the teachers tried to soothe or calm my son down to stop crying. On the second day he came home with a diaper rash. On the third he was yanked, and plopped on the floor like a rag doll. I would not suggest this establishment to care for your toddler. read more

I would not recommend this place for long-term childcare for many reasons. First of all they have quite a few fees that they mysteriously will charge you. There is not a lot of detail as to why they are charging you these fees and they are not posted well. Is there really a need for all of these fees? If you have your child in school and you are not going to put your children at this childcare center for spring break or for the Christmas. Then you need to pay a reservation fee. I'm not too sure why they have reservation fees other then they still need to pay some of the other employees that are there when their most likely is not that many children there. I do not think they will trained to help your kids. I have gone in there and seen many children fighting with the employees not doing a thing. Since pulling my children out from this childcare center they have improved quite a bit. They don't come home all dirty from playing outside or smell bad from the place. Yes it was a cheap option compared to other locations but I don't think it was the best option. read more

My baby started out here at 9 months old. And over the course of the past 9 months it progressively got worse and worse. No one is in a good mood. Only the new Ms Sandra at the front and Mr John, who was promoted and no longer the director. The parents weren't in even good moods. It was a very odd feeling...The teachers seem to be in great moods when they first start the job, but the decrease in level of patience was so evident as time went on. If you don't like children, why work in a daycare. Or maybe find another room more suited for the teacher. The menu used to have somewhat of variety but it got to the point where they ate the same thing for lunch and dinner more than a couple of times a week. I really don't recommend bringing your child here. It may seem like the cheaper option in the area. But my sons happiness is more important than saving a couple of bucks. read more

My daughter has been with this Center since she was 4 months. We are now 3 years. Always paid on time and supported the Center in all ways possible. Since the new owners came on board there have been a few changes...some good, some not so great. But since this was the only school my daughter had known, I stayed with them despite my own opinions about the leadership and how they ran. She loved her teachers and her friends and I wanted it to stay that way. I even paid the school while she was not attending during 6 weeks of lockdown. Most recently, during the craziness of the pandemic, parents were TEXTED that children would be denied entry if we were to drop off after 9am. I first spoke with the Center Director about this change, as I sometimes have a little more time to spend with my daughter in the mornings and drop her off between 9:15 and 9:45am. He directed me to the owner to discuss it. In a short discussion with the owner, I explained that I cherish the little bit of extra time I get with my LO in the mornings and that my schedule allowed for a later drop off. He proceeded to let me know that the doors would be locked at 9am and no child would be allowed in after that and that was it. My daughter nor I mattered to them. No appreciation for the time I had been there or the fact that the world is in TopsyTurvey! No working with me at all! What a sad day. Even on her last day the Assistant Director, Jessica, who I have known for 3 years didn't even have the decency or courtesy to come say Goodbye. Later, my husband and I both called to get the tax # for the school for tax purposes. After 3 calls and an email to the owner they have yet to respond. What a joke. read more

At first everything was great until my daughter moved to the next class. In May, my daughter came home with scratches on her forehead, a deep scratch her nose and upper lip. I asked what happened when I dropped her off the next day, they thought it happened at home. Was told they were going to talk to the teacher but never contacted me. Took two weeks to get an incident report but it was not even from the same day it happened. Went in and watched the cameras with Ms. Amanda and my daughter had fell from the top of the slide when the teacher's back was to her. She wiped her face off and let her keep playing. The teacher also changes the kids sitting down while around other children. I complained about it and was reassured it wouldn't happen again. It happened two more times. Two days ago, I looked on the camera and not only was the teacher changing a little boy while she sat down and he stood up but my daughter was sitting right next to them. I ultimately decided to remove my daughter from the daycare. I only kept her there for so long because she loved her waddler teacher from the previous class so much. read more

My triplets and twins have attended CCLC since they were barely 18 months old, the triplets are getting ready to start Kindergarten now and I must say, I credit this center with getting them ready. I am confident they have the skills they need to begin BIG KIDS School. I am proud to say this is one of the finest places you can take your precious children. The staff and caring, kind, loving and professional. I have been more than happy with the prices and the level of learning the kids receive. They continually strive to upgrade their playgrounds, the classrooms, and its so welcoming and inviting, yet safe and secure! As far as the previous poster, yes they have a $25 fee per week, thats very small, in my opinion, to hold your slot while you vacation, so they can pay the workers continue working. Any other center I have been to charge 50%. Also, yes if you are late with your payment, they charge $20, every other business will as well. read more

My son has learned so much in such a short time of attending. The staff is awesome! Ms Patty is the best! Mr C always knows what's going on in the center and always willing to help. My only regret is we didn't find childrens choice sooner! read more

My son of 10 months has been in the care of this wonderful daycare for a few months now. He has certainly thrived in their care. Everytime we pull in the parking lot, he is doing his happy dance in his carseat. He's also all smiles when he sees his teachers. Makes me know he is in great care. If I could give them a ZERO review I would. First off My daughter enrolled my grandson there for a 2 day a week program so he could make some friends and play, he is 3 yrs old. You can watch your child in their classroom via Watch me grow app.These people are not trained well at all. You can't hear what they are saying but you can see what they are doing. One of the ladies in the class was very aggressive with the children and I don't mean that in a good way. She shoved tables up against the walls with children sitting at the tables and the looks on the 3 year olds faces was frightening . When they leave the room you can't see other parts of school on screen. On the 3rd day that my grandson was to go back to the school he cried to not take him. I must remind you that he asked to start to school, so by crying to not go back makes you wonder about the actions of the staff at Children's Choice in Pearland. He asked to go to the other school. So, if you are looking for a school for your child keep looking PASS THIS ONE UP! read more

Boy has this place made positive changes since the last time I visited!!! CCLC needed lots of cleanup a few years ago when I visited the center to inquire about enrolling my then small toddler. I didn't like what I saw the place was dark and dreary. My toddler is now in PK (4 years old) and I needed somewhere for her to go when school is out for holidays, Spring Break, etc. I heard that there was new ownership so I decided to try it out. This is not the same place I visited years ago! So many updates have been made to the inside of this daycare that make it more bright, cheerful, and appropriate for little ones. There are always things that I can pick apart at any given daycare center (and I do it well)...that's not my purpose here. As a parent the most important thing is that my child feels comfortable when I leave. I know that she did because when I picked her up she didn't want to leave. She could tell me the teacher's name and some of the names of kids in the classroom so I know that she was properly introduced and had time to interact with these kids. At any age it's hard when you have to leave your child in an unfamiliar place. She's excited for the next time she gets to go back and that makes my heart sing. read more

My children have attended this school for a year now. My 3 year old was reading site words at 2.5 years old. His teachers have always been warm and loving to him. My daughter is a grade-schooler, but gets picked up from CCLC and taken to/from school. She is always excited to spend time there, and they even help her with her homework. They are very quick to communicate with me about my children and alert me when even the littlest issue has happened. Both of my children are encouraged to learn and act appropriately in a group setting by CCLC. They have gotten to go on field trips to the zoo and museum, gotten to meet policemen and firefighters to discuss their careers, and there are fun themes throughout the year that they learn exciting new things. The Director and Co-Director have always been warm and accommodating to me and my family. read more

Started taking my 3 year old for part time care, 2 days a week. He literally only went for 2 days. My Mom and I watched the video feed via the Watch Me Grow app, both of those days, and what I saw was a room full of 3 year olds with bottled up energy they were not allowed to expend. I understand that they have a schedule, and a curriculum, but bless their hearts they are surrounded by toys and play centers that they don't get to touch! I watched on days that my son didn't go to see if it was any different, and it was not. Never got to go outside, and didn't get to play. They sit ALL DAY LONG. They literally go from sitting at the carpet, to sitting at the table, to sitting back at the carpet. At one point the kids were so restless from sitting at tables, one of the kids at my sons table kept moving it away from the wall. The teacher kept moving it back, you could tell she got so frustrated that she almost slammed my son between the wall and the table on accident. I was so frustrated and mad just watching. If there's bad weather, mosquitos, or just too hot or cold and they can't go outside to play, then they should be allowed to get up and move, or play! I called the center and talked to the lady at the front desk, Didn't see any change that day. Called the director and talked to him the next day about it, which he agreed. Didn't see any change that day either. During their outside time, they were inside. Of course I had to call to find out, because you are only given access to the classroom. You can't see what they are doing anywhere else in the center. When it came time to play at the "centers" in the room, they were no longer in the room. Teachers are obviously too lazy for their jobs... Yes it's great they have a curriculum, it is called a "learning center", but they are 3 year olds, they should be allowed to use their imaginations, and have just a little fun right?? My 6 year old First Grader even gets to take Brain Breaks while he's in class, plus recess. It doesn't need to be free time all day long, but give them 30 mins at least of just using their imagination, and having a little fun! No, I definitely do not recommend this place. I was refused a refund for the $125 registration also, even though my son only went for 2 days..My son was the one who asked to go to "school", so he could play with friends. Today he was supposed to go for his 3rd day, and cried not to go. He asked to go to his old school (which no longer offers part time care). This is a great facility and we highly recommended this learning center to friends and coworkers. Our oldest have been there for over two years and our youngest just started five months ago in the infant room. The teachers are extremely caring and always greet us with a smile. The place is well run by the director and assistant director. We couldn't be happier with the level of education our two year old is receiving. We did not expect this and are pleasantly surprised. Education is extremely important to us and we are really glad Children's Choice Learning Center offers such a great curriculum. We have an excellent relationship with our sons' teachers and they have become a part of our extended family. My 2 year old enjoys going to school and is very happy there. We feel very comfortable leaving our boys in their care. In addition, they have implemented various activities such as spanish, music, and dance lessons, mother's day/father's day events, as well as teacher appreciation day. Again, we think the school offers a lot and is not just a typical day care center where kids are changed, fed, and naps. Our experience has been positive and any concerns we had were handled appropriately. read more
