They assured me he'd get used to it as he came to more visits. And he has. We just had our best visit yet. Kiddo let the hygienist do everything! He got a little freaked out by the suctiontool but she let him hold it and ease into it and he was fine. The waiting room has toys and books and I've never struggled to get an appointment at a convenient time. All their rooms are clean and bright. Great views from the 7th floor windows. Parking is easy in the lot that's inside the building, but not free (you pay $2/30 mins so it's not awful). EDIT: 6 months later and we still love Westchester Pediatric!

Thankfully we were not turned away from Dr Deepa who allowed us to help during his procedure to hold my son's arms while she was able to perform some miracles. No other dentist would help us-but she did. Otherwise he would've been in pain waiting for a surgery center spot (which costs over $5k). You'd think our son was done with dentists offices from here on out-but he is now comfortable with Dr Deepa and doesn't even need help getting into his chairs for examinations. On some level he knows she's helped him get out of his pain. I'm thankful for the staff's ability to help handle these 'out of the box' situations and is why there is only one place for us.
