Dr. Lasser proceeded to put the blame on my daughter that the filling fell out and made her cry in the office. While crying, he had no compassion for her and continued the oral examination as if she was completely fine!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! ...give her a minute to get composed! . And to make matters worse, they can't accommodate her to have the filling redone for months. My husband asked if they could fit her in soon to have it redone with her regular dentist and Dr Lasser started yammering about how busy they were because they were one of the only practices that still took dental dental.... totally off topic !!!! ( while my daughter is still crying btw!) We have had an issue before with Dr. Lasser and his rudeness years ago, it's time for him to retire if he can't have compassion and respect for his patients .... It gives the rest of the employees in his office a very bad look !!! if booking an appointment with this office, I would be avoid him as a dentist at all cost!

Iam not cutting any slack for any human being that would harm a child. I was told if my daughter…read morewas going to opt for a composite filling on her two cavities she would most definitely need anesthesia. I have the anesthesia paperwork and it's about $2400 because downtime and whatever excuse to charge more money., so no it will never be 1600. A composite filling takes time so therefore nitrous oxide is a no go since she can wake up and freak out. They could not confirm any more than the two cavities since they were not able to get the pictures, however, they didn't mention some invisible cavity being a problem. I am very neurotic taking care of my daughter's teeth and have close-up pictures. It's pretty impressive how clean they are. Now the father gives me the quote from the Dental company and the Whole dental visit will end up costing about 4500 since it's 2000 for the dental work/not general anesthesia. so my daughter would've undergone anesthesia and walked out with five stainless steel crowns in her mouth. Oh, I was very clear. I absolutely don't give consent to crowns. They also wanted to add ceiling on top of the tooth that they were going to crown. I can't see how that's necessary but, OK let's make the quote higher and add in. stainless steel crowns are very fast for procedure so there was absolutely no reason to suggest that over composite filling. Something is truly corrupt and more people need to speak up about this child abuse. Thank God, my gut told me to look further into it. One woman was not as lucky and had the same exact quote, expected child's teeth to be filled to daughter being gone for three hours and walking out with a metal mouth. These people need to be stopped. I am so sorry for her. I need to warn everyone.

Cranston Pediatric Dentistry - The tooth that is circled is beginning to become loose. Next truth to the right, not loose, then this molar is the one needing filling.

He ended up with tons of cavities and one of the teeth is decaying so this year (2021) we made appointments for the regular cleaning with his dentist, after the visit we were recommended to this place Greater Boston Smile Pediatric for his his tooth decay. We did come for consultation and after a few months we can get his teeth straighten out (one is taken out and the other 8 is crowned for his own good). We're so worried to see to see him going through the whole process because he had to take the med for the procedure and he wasn't himself til it wears out (a good 3-4 hours later). He had early appointment and left around noon. He's back to normal around 5pm and we're pleased with the results. The doctor even called around 8pm to check on him and thanks for trusting him to have my boy in his hands. Then staffs are very helpful. You can't find any place like this. Highly recommended! And Thank you Dr. Shaughnessy and all staff members!

I brought my son here for his first dentist visit. They couldn't have been sweeter to him. I already made his next dentist appointment with them in six months. My only constructive criticism is that the main lobby looks like an adult dentist office. I actually wasn't sure I was in the right place when I first got there. Painting the waiting room with bright colors and adding some toys might make it more kid welcoming. If they have the extra cash it might be worth it to hire an interior designer to make the waiting room more fun. But regardless, I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids!

After answering the phone with a kurt "hi" I was promptly asked "do you have insurance". I replied yes but had a question...before I could even complete my questions the receptionist told me they don't make appointments until they can verify my insurance. I said that was fine however i had a question (i have bcbs and delta dental and wanted to know if I could specify which would be the primary, etc.), she told me to hold but forgot to actually hit hold where I could hear her and another receptionist badmouthing me about "asking so many questions", "probably doesn't even have insurance", "ugh another new patient paperwork"....she then realizes that she didn't actually put me on hold and says she's going to transfer me to someone else.. The next receptionist picks up and says "can I help you", I tell her I was transferred to her and that i was trying to set up a new appointment. Before I could even start asking a question I'm asked again about having insurance which I reply that I do. She starts taking my information and is increasingly more and more rude as I answer her questions and reply with my own (like why do you need 2 phone numbers and an email address to "remind me of an appointment? - simple question, right?!). This place was highly recommended by several people I know however based off this first impression by their reception staff, I can't believe they are able to stay in business with customer service like this. Its a shame, I wonder if the dentist know this is how their patients are being treated.

(I had taken her to a DIFFERENT pediatric dentist and had one bad experience after another. Limited appointment openings, appointments cancelled by provider last minute, appointments for two small children that were supposed to be back to back being done at the same time (I can't be beside both children simultaneously!), and practitioners who seemed to be completely untrained in working with children. My daughter is outgoing, well spoken, and friendly. However, of course a practitioner forcing their way into her mouth with no warning would be alarming!) ***The folks here in Millis worked with my child, made sure she was comfortable, repeatedly told her she was doing a great job, and let her do things like feel their gloves and masks with her fingers before going into her mouth. They earned my daughters trust, and treated her with kindness and respect. She was treated like a human, not just a number and a paycheck.***
