He was very rude saying I have to keep it clean and stay away from mexican food (which I do not eat). i later found a piece of tooth in the hole which I saved and went back. he didn't want to aee the tooth fragment and wouldn't even look in my mouth. He is terrible and narcissistic. Do not go to him!

He used to be one of those people who avoided seeing the dentist unless there's pain. He thinks they're all the same, but they're not! My previous dentist would point out certain problems, like a chipped tooth and receding gum lines but never bothered to suggest any treatments other than an expensive mouth guard to keep me from grinding my teeth at night. It really annoyed me that he made a joke about my chipped tooth. One of my fillings started to wear down and became sharp like a dull saw. Luckily my previous dental office had a long wait for openings and I managed to book an appointment with Dr. Yousef for an earlier appointment! After a cleaning and assessment, he noticed my chipped tooth, receding gum line and immediately had treatment plans in mind. Dr. Yousef fixed my chipped tooth, smoothed down my chain saw molar, and filled in the deep recesses of my receding gum lines, which would avoid Gum Graft Surgery in the future. He did all of this in less than one hour!!! I was amazed!!! Also, I love that he's polite and respectful and doesn't make stupid jokes like my previous dentist, even though he's not a very talkative man. Btw...I opted for no local anesthesia because I hate having a numb mouth for hours. I really appreciated how gentle, quick, and efficient he was. The dental hygienists and front desk people are also very nice. Highly recommend Family & Cosmetic Dentistry!

Verified my information offered to drop off my member services card and was given a rude answer that they could not do anything. I tried to hang up and maybe get another operator to give my information over to perhaps my name was incorrectly spelled instead this person had the same attitude claimed they heard me "badgering" their coworker. Rita, my dental hygienist is amazing, it has NEVER been uncomfortable or feel like it's taking forever when she cleans my teeth. Everyone is always so incredibly nice and you can see they really work as a team. I had an emergency this past weekend and was able to reach out, got a quick call back from Dr. Samantha Ward, got an appointment the next day, met with her and some other team members and figured out the problem and took steps to get a casting done asap for a mouth guard. I would highly recommend the office to everyone! They also seem to take all different types of insurance which was good because I didn't have the best when I first went.

When I returned, they took an X-ray to address their mistake and then charged me $200 for it. The tooth still bothers me to this day. More recently, I was told they accepted my new insurance, had work done, and was later charged $500 because they "never accepted" it--despite admitting they knew that beforehand. They told me I was out of luck and that they don't work with my insurance because situations like this happen. On top of that, my dentist was switched to her sister without my knowledge, and after a routine filling I was in pain for weeks. Overall, this office is dishonest and I would not trust them

The main dentist reprimanded a tech right outside my door and it was very unprofessional. Day of extraction appt, after 3 hours late for my appt, i asked if was going to be soon if not I had no issue rescheduling. Told will be in a few minutes. Another hour goes by and i go back to desk this time to just reschedule when said oh no she is coming to get you right now. Once in room waiting on surgeon and he and his assistant come in laughing but in a more sexual way, thought that was odd. I said i was ok to reschedule seeing as he seemed to be running so far behind. at this comment he was not happy, i said if running that late maybe ask desk to let people know and they could come back later. He got more upset at that and said " things happen" Honestly i think the thing was an adventure with the tech. After he was done and i was waking up, he rudely said i even left you impacted wisdom tooth in. "how is that". I was too out of it to even catch on before he left the room. Next on to 1st set of teeth which not going to say much about as too swollen to have any idea on fit. went back a few more times to adjust never fit good for more than couple hours before hurt again. Everytime they made my next set of dentures they used WAY too much of the goo and it made me gag. once time i started to choke and had to spit out the set and they got mad they had to start again. I asked many times not to put so much in, but never listened. Most times I was there it was like the dentists were more interested in extra curricle activities than my needs. Put me on a cancellation list for appointments though which makes zero sense. Called me I booked the appointment which was great because I had forgot. Got told THROUGH TEXT my appointment was cancelled due to not paying and not having records from 8 YEARS AGO. Shouldn't this have been told me when I made the appointment? Now I'm out an appointment AGAIN. I get it. Ok. Got records from old place. Still won't make me an appointment because the dates were not on the paper work. BUT TOOK MY 50 DOLLARS - and all because they couldn't see the dates on the paperwork?? You have my records and my money. Ok. Called old dentist office back and said they didn't send what they need. (dun dun) TREATMENT DAY!…read moreThey actually called me the afternoon before my scheduled visit, they had a cancellation and wanted to know if I would like to come in sooner! *gulp!* initially I declined, but quickly decided to call them back and accept the earlier appointment. I arrived, shaking, nervous as heck! The receptionists and other staff members could tell I was afraid, and greeted me with warm smiles and tried to reassure me! My original dental assistant was there, Rebecca. She did a very good job of trying to calm my nerves, and it was reassuring that she was going to be there. I was having a root canal and I had never had anything like that done before, of course you ask people about them and you always ask the people that have had, unfortunately horrific experiences! My anxiousness was complete anticipation of the unknown! Dr Imanian and Rebecca worked very well together, they made sure I was ok throughout the whole procedure. I didn't feel a thing except TMJ pain from trying to keep my mouth open, next time I will take some nsaids before hand! Dr Galanis popped in a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. He also made sure I was ok after the procedure. The whole entire team was wonderful! I really can't say enough about them! I'm really glad I chose BVD to be my dental office!
