Absolutely love this place! My son attended CLA for approximately 3.5 years, and now my daughter attends and is part of the Pre-K program, which is run by Ms. Ally. I've been extremely impressed with the program! It's exactly what my daughter needed, and the timing couldn't have been better. I'm also so glad I decided to keep her at CLA rather than moving her to a school-based Pre-K program. Since she was already comfortable at CLA, the transition into Pre-K was smooth and easy for her. The Pre-K program definitely feels like a true classroom and learning environment rather than a traditional daycare setting. I honestly think CLA should promote this program more because it adds so much value to what they already offer. I would definitely recommend it to other parents! read more

I loved the security, the cleanliness (the place never had a bad smell, the rooms were always clean, and unlike other places, my daughter was not bringing home germs everyday) and how nice the staff is! Our family cannot say enough good things about Children's Learning Adventure. From the start, we knew our boys were in excellent hands. They are so kind, patient and our boys LOVE going to school everyday and even ask to go to school on the weekends, which really shows how much they both love being there. We receive fun photos during activities and are kept very well informed about their growth. Our boys have opened up more, become more independent and are so excited to show us all the activities and crafts they do each day. The monthly family activities are so fun as well! You can really tell how much they care for each child as they great them by name at the door every morning. My kids adore their teachers and miss them when we leave at the end of each day. I have two kiddos that are enrolled at this school. I was hesitant signing them up to a daycare because im very much a helicopter parent but after speaking to Dawn and going through the walkthrough I decided to try it out. The first week I noticed a difference in my 4 & 1 year old, they were singing songs my eldest had made friends and was excited to go every morning. My 1 year old had a harder time adjusting but his teacher was so kind and eventually dropping him off became a breeze. I really like both teachers and the facility is clean... I have walked through other schools and immediately there was a smell or looked dirty. I also really enjoy the activities they have for the kids seems like they have something to look forward to every week. There were a couple times there was an incident that happened and each time I received a call and when I had a concern a conversation was had and noticed change. There is not a way to fully say how amazing CLA was to my family and I. Being a first time mom and having to leave my baby with a "stranger" was absolutely the scariest thing I've had to do but Ms. Dawn and Ms. Frances were so helpful during this time. All the ladies at the front desk were amazing! They always greeted and communicated accordingly. The girls in the infant room were a literal god send! Allie, Brooke, Michelle and Katherine were absolutely the best with my little one, he loved every single one of those girls and was happy to see them every morning! I was lucky to be able to stay at home which is the only reason we took our little one out otherwise we would have stayed as long as possible. CLA has been an amazing place for my daughter. We moved to Maricopa when she was 3 years old, taking her away from everything and everyone she knew to be her world. We knew the transition was going to be tough on our daughter and that her daycare was going to be the biggest factor in her happiness and success our new city. We spoke to and toured every daycare in Maricopa and the choice was clear, CLA is the best place in town! While CLA does not have the latest childcare technologies (Brightwheel/Classroom Ninja), they have an amazing community. Over the past year we have observed the staff greeting children and parents by name as they come and go each day. We are continuously impressed with the communication, cleanliness, organization structure and management of this facility. When Mimi and Papa came to visit, they were blow away by how happy and friendly all the children were at CLA. Miss Dawn is the family lesion and ensures that teachers are conducting productive activities with the children at all age levels. She always responds in an understanding and helpful manor when we have concerns. She is dedicated to making sure the children are happy, healthy, and fulfilled. Dawn takes the time to get to know the children on a personal level which has aided in our daughters tremendous grown throughout her year at CLA. The Director, Miss. Marcela, works hard to be part of the team with staff members, I've even seen her cover as the bus driver to make sure everything runs smoothly. She too knows the names of all the students at CLA and interacts caringly with everyone she encounters. Our daughter and our family have become friends with many of the wonderful CLA families. As we move on to Pre-K, we are sad to leave the CLA community, but we know that they have prepared our daughter for success in her continued growth, physically and mentally. My daughter has been going here since she was 3 months old. She just turned 6 years old in April of this year. I have had very few issues with this daycare only while my daughter was 1-2yrs old. I immediately addressed the issues and they were taken care of immediately. The ladies that work in the office upfront are very welcoming and greet everyone as they enter the building. My daughter absolutely loves this daycare. Her favorite teacher as of now is Mr. Henry. Always with a smile and positive attitude. They do fun things for holidays like fall festival for the children. I began bringing my children here during the pandemic, I struggled with finding the right teachers for my children. Shortly thereafter, an amazing staff member by the name of Henry began working with school age. My son absolutely flourished under his supervision! I was extremely impressed at his ability to center my child and other children as well when they were upset, experiencing a large emotion, or just having a bad day. His presence has brought a wonderful energy to the establishment! He has encouraged the academic ability of my children and guided them to reading more, and being academically successful. I am a current employee of childrens learning adventure and my hiring experience has been great. They gave a sufficient amount of training beforehand, which helped keep stable income while background checks went through. The management is helpful, and the kids are great too. I am truly happy working here but the only issue is that we are currently understaffed, and even though this is a challenge, the directors have been nothing but supportive . I've been going to CLA for 1.5 years for my two toddlers, and both of them LOVE it! My eldest doesn't want to leave at the end of the day and calls one of the workers her best friend. My youngest lights up when she gets into the classroom. They serve great food - I saw them giving my toddler Simply Orange juice - have lots of outdoor playtime, and frequently tie my girls hair in the cutest hairstyles just because they like it. The only negative is, they are constantly changing rooms throughout the day. The room I drop my child off in the morning is not the same room I pick her up from, and sometimes it's not the same room as the previous day. I frequently am running around the entire building trying to find my kid. Prices are also a little on the higher side for needing to provide diapers and wipes, but it's acceptable with how great the workers are and how clean everything is. read more

My journey with CLA started in 2016 ,I have 3 daughters that attend CLA it's been such a great help. I love that they implement learning activities and steps to help them get ready for school. I am truly grateful for Mr. Henry Since he started my kids have looked forward to going to day care. My child went here for more than a year including the preschool program. She hasn't learned very many things, and it frustrates me that this is nothing more than JUST a babysitting business. I paid around $800 per month in order for my child to LEARN, and that wasn't being done. She still isn't fully prepared for kindergarten so now I have to hire a tutor this summer to make sure she is fully prepared. I have been a parent here for about 4 years and older son and an infant son people have changed through the years but everyone is always wonderful. Ms.faith is my favorite teacher she really knew how to handle my high-strung child when he was young. IHis navigators teacher now that take care of him after school are absolutely godsends ! they help my eldest son with his homework work after school and that is SO helpful!! The women in the infant room are all mothers themselves and it makes me feel so at ease leaving my 3month old with them. It's also so nice to be able to drop off and pick up both my children at the same place everyday because the bus my eldest child to and from school. I do not have any children here. I just observed 3 little boys open the playground gate to go watch the landscapers put tree limbs into the wood chipper. No adult in sight. I was picking up an order at the McDonald's next to it. Now how is a gate/door able to be unlocked and opened by a preschool age child? Also why (when I finally visually found an adult) was there only 1 adult on a playground with that many little kids? If I were a parent I would want guarantees that there would always be 2 adults and proof that that gate was locked from both sides and that a little child could in no way unlock it. Those kids could have been hit by a car or kidnapped. read more

My girls have been going to CLA for over 3 years now. Their service was a little shaky in early years with high turnover rate of teachers. Now in the past couple of years it has really turned around. My girls are building relationships with the teachers because they are now staying around longer. The front desk staff is pleasantly professional and work with you if you have any issues. They are also good at supervising the safety of our girls. They also offer a homework club where the teachers will help the older kids do their work. My kids are always talking about their favorite teachers and all the cool stuff they learn. I love the busses that take my school age girls to and from the elementary school. My preschooler loves her classmates. The teachers also helped potty train my toddler. read more

This place has been our 2nd home for 2 years now. Our child was 12 months when we started attending and as nervous as I could be they welcomed us in with open arms. Hands down to Ms Elsa and Ms Wendy who are always there for any questions, concerns, problems, and praises. I love how I can confront any of them on any given day and feel nothing but comfortable when I do, let alone walking away knowing things are going to be handled and taken care of. My child has grown so much with the help of CLA. FULLY Potty trained at 2 years and 3 months, alphabets , counting almost to 20 perfectly, up to ten in Spanish, knows her full name, date of birth, starting to trace her name, knows the letter her name starts with, sign language, full sentences, conversations, right from wrong, art, science, cooking in culinary class, knows all the words to all nursery songs. I just cant believe the knowledge my child has at the age of 3. We couldn't have done it as full time working parents without the help of Children's learning adventure. The staff and teachers are all so sweet and I know they take care of my child like I would. Nothing is better than knowing you are leaving your baby in the hands of someone else and trusting them 100% hands down children's learning adventure is the best place for my baby to be.. I have 3 children in now and they are in 3 different areas which lets me experience every section and all the teachers I am working with are all great! They seem like they really actually care about your kids and they are always reassuring me that they will take great care of them. My husband and I moved back to CA because this location was way too expensive and the care that was provided was way below average. 9 times out of 10, my son would come home with a soiled diaper, dirty clothes, hungry, thirsty, and with some sort of new sickness. We gave this place one too many chances to improve, and it was never done. If I dropped my son off in the morning and told the morning teacher something, like to keep a long sleeve shirt on him or something, the morning teacher would NEVER relay the message to the afternoon teachers. I even tried telling the front office receptionists, or whoever was there the message, and they would still not tell the teachers. Communication failed at this daycare. I dropped off my son in one room and my husband would pick him up in another room. It was NEVER communicated to us that he would be moving rooms. There needs to be another option in Maricopa. I would pick my son up some afternoons, and the whole building, especially the classrooms smelled like bleach. BLEACH!!! Around little kids! Come on!! This place needs to change. I know for sure my son will not be going there ever again. And when friends who live in Maricopa ask if I know of a daycare center in Maricopa, I say I do, and urge them not to choose this place! Please, if you love and care for your children, do NOT use this location!! read more

This center is absolutely terrible! My daughter began attending CLA October 2017 and I've recently taken her out of this learning center after having problems one after another with no one addressing them. They have a high turn over rate and most of the people they have hired are just warm bodies. The communication between the staff in regards to the children is pretty much non existent. There were SEVERAL times i was told "i don't know", "no one told me", "i just got here 20 mins ago" when i posed a question regarding my daughters state in which i picked her up. The most recent incident resulted in my daughter having welts in different areas of her body due to the teacher not paying attention to the children. When I asked what happened i received two different stories that did not make sense along with an "its unfortunate this happened, but oh well" attitude from the staff. We are our children's main advocate and if we continue to be silent about these issues nothing will change. read more

Looks great from the outside but they have younger teachers with large class room sizes. Come visit after 5:30 and you will find 20 small kids with one teacher. My daughter has been going to CLA in Maricopa since she was an infant. One of the hardest things to do as a mother is to have to work and put your kids in daycare. There's not a day that goes by that I wish I could have the luxury of being a stay at home mom. The one thing that makes this somewhat comforting for me is the staff at CLA in Maricopa. My daughter has had some amazing teachers, who genuinely care about my child. She is in the two year old room now and her teachers Ms. Veronica and Ms. Perla are beyond words amazing! My daughter literally runs up to hug them when she sees them! I love that every time I walk in and leave, the front desk greets me and my child. EVERYONE knows my child by name! This is a very large daycare and for them to all take the time to know every kids name and say hello shows me that they truly care. My daughter started there at 3 months old and the infant room is great. My daughter had her own personal crib that doesn't get shared. This is big for a new mom with germ phobia! I love that they do craft projects often and I have my daughters hand prints and footprints on various pieces of art that I wouldn't have time to do as a working mom. There is an email newsletter that gets sent out every month that I enjoy seeing pictures of what my daughters activities will be that month. Anytime my daughter gets hurt or comes down with a fever they call me right away. The director is very present and addressed any concerns right away. This place looks good but they are not as good as they seem. My 2 year old would always scream when I leave him there. At first I thought it was because he wad not used to being with other people until I came in early one day and caught a teacher snatching him around and yelling at him not to touch her. I immediately went to Elsa the director and she assured me she would take care of it and her would not be in her care in more. The next day when I came to drop him off there sat the same lady (teacher???) who abused my son the day before. I withdrew him immediately. Then they had the nerve to say I had to pay for 2 more weeks since he was withdrawing. I told them to talk to my attorney about it. Never heard from them again. I filed a complaint with the State of Arizona as well. read more
