Our son is 23 months old and has been attending this learning center since he was 4 months old. As a first-time mom, leaving my baby in someone else's care when I returned to work was extremely hard. Kids Inc. made the transition for both me and my son extremely seamless and easy. Every staff member knows my son by name, not just his classroom teachers. I feel welcome every time I enter the building. I know my son is safe and cared for. Since the center has started going for national accreditation, they have started using an app, Procare, as their main mode of communication. It's so easy!! I have peace of mind knowing my son's teachers are just a text message away and I thoroughly enjoy getting notifications and pictures throughout the day. I love the curriculum the center follows, and my son's language and motor skills have flourished! I am an educator myself and am a huge advocate for early childhood education and intervention. The more exposure to learning children have at a young age, the better! Plus, I love how this center supports teachers. When I am on a break from school, my son stays home with me and the center does not charge us during those weeks. This truly shows me how family-centered this company is and we are grateful. It's honestly sad to have to write this review, especially since my boys have been attending this daycare for quite some time. We've always appreciated the care and the relationships built over the years. However, our most recent experience left me deeply disappointed and hurt. My youngest son has special needs and, because of that, he occasionally misses days. Every time we return, we're typically greeted warmly with a "Hi! How are you?" -- but yesterday, that wasn't the case at all. When we walked into his classroom, both teachers looked visibly annoyed. They made eye contact but didn't say a single word. One teacher was sitting at a table (with no children) and the other was by the cubbies, so they weren't preoccupied. I let them know my son was ready for his bottle and mentioned the time of his last diaper change -- no acknowledgment. I repeated myself, and the only response I got was a flat "okay." I also tried to explain the situation with his hand, but again, not a single word or even a nod in response. Feeling completely dismissed, I walked out and went straight to the front desk to express my concerns. I told them that if my son wasn't wanted there, I would gladly take him somewhere he is. The staff member apologized and said she would speak to the teachers, but that doesn't undo how uncomfortable and unwanted we were made to feel. I ultimately decided to remove my son that day and take him to a sitter -- I couldn't leave him in a place where he was clearly not welcomed. What's even more disappointing is that since this happened, I haven't received a single call, text, or apology from anyone at the daycare. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of support and understanding at Kids Incorporated Chandler. Our son started there as a 1 year old and as he started to develop we got him tested for Autism. As a parent of a child with special needs, I expected a facility that would adapt and provide the necessary care and attention. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Despite informing the staff about my child's needs, there was little to no effort made to accommodate him. The caregivers seem untrained and unprepared to handle children with special needs, leading to numerous issues that could have been avoided with proper support and understanding. He did not act out but did not advance at the same rate as the other kids and they preferred to hold him back then work with us as a family to do what was best for our son. My child deserved an inclusive and supportive environment, but Kids Incorporated Chandler failed to provide that environment. I hope take this review seriously, for the sake of other special needs children, and take immediate steps to improve their services and provide proper training to their staff to ensure that all children, regardless of their needs, receive the care and attention they deserve. read more

I wanted this school to be a safe supportive place for my toddler but unfortunately our experience was painful and disappointing. The school claims to have fully qualified staff and training that supports each child's growth but my son went through three teachers in 6 months and the instability clearly affected him. When we started acting out (which is normal for toddlers learning emotional regulation) instead of offering guidance and working with us they gave us one meeting to fix the issues then when they weren't resolved In two weeks the school gave up on him. Worse they blamed me for complaints from other parents and even staff quitting rather than taking responsibility for their own inability to manage or support his needs as the school claims in their philosophy. My child was a problem to get rid of and not a young child needing help. If your child is strong willed, sensitive or still developing self control (as most toddlers are) this school will not be what they need despite the schools promises. They don't follow through on their values and will give up on your child. read more

Kids incorporated is the BEST!!! Teachers are so friendly and compassionate with the kids. Every time you walk in you're remembered by name by everyone who works there. They are so personable and caring to everyone!! My daughter comes home telling me all the fun things they did that day!! I love that they send updates and pictures of when they eat, what they're leaning, bathroom breaks, and nap times. It really gives me peace of mind. We absolutely love this daycare and highly recommend it to everyone -- we've even recruited friends to switch to this school because we enjoy it so much. We have been to other care centers and this one by far tops the rest. Its a large (and beautiful) facility that still has a close-knit vibe. Our kids love going to school and have created strong bonds with their teachers. And it is wild, but even the staff know my children by name. I am so appreciative that my kiddos are in a safe and engaging environment. The reasonable price is a huge bonus, too! They go above and beyond to make sure my children are developing and having fun. It is evident that the teachers and staff care about their overall experience and involvement. I was so surprised -- and totally love -- that they do events to stay connected with the parents as well, from student-teacher conferences to inviting families to an at-school thanksgiving meal. My fav part about this facility and team is the teamwork and their commitment to the extra mile. I truly feel like I have hired the perfect team to help take care of my babies. They've made adjustments to their routines based on my requests, and welcome and implement feedback immediately anytime I've brought something up. Instead of worrying about how they're doing, I am consistently reminded that my children are living their best life without me. I am extremely happy with how much more my son is learning at kids inc. we were previously with tutor time. At the previous day care his class always seemed like absolute chaos and my son often clung to my leg not wanting to be left there for the day. At kids inc they are always either working on a project or sitting in a school circle listening to a story. The deciding factor in our switching daycare's was that tutor time does not allow for any sick or vacation days where kids inc does after the first 6 months and they accumulate if you don't use them. Tutor time made me pay ($200) for a week of daycare even during a out of town family vacation regardless of giving them a months notice before hand. read more

Everyone is wonderful and helpful. I have three kids there and all of the teachers know them and speak when we walk in. My kids love them and that tells me all I need to know - as long as my babies are happy and treated well, I am satisfied. My son gets homework in the pre-k class and he is learning so much. I know he will be well prepared for school. The teachers are attentive and give me verbal updates everyday in addition to the papers they send home. Our son went to Kids Inc. in Scottsdale and then transferred to this one when we moved. We've been extremely pleased with the curriculum and how interactive the teachers are. Ms Cynthia and Baby Anna are both vital parts of my sons success and he has progressed in his learning consistently. Ms Cynthia always tells him "thank you for giving me your best today" before he leaves and I appreciate the way she treats every child fairly while also holding them accountable. As far as daycares go, i think Kids Inc. is the best and would highly recommend them for their caring staff and interactive learning. My son loves their garden as well. read more

We received a call from this place yesterday that our daughter had lice. She had told my wife and our social worker last week that some kids had bugs in their hair. We did not receive a notice from the school. When my wife went to pick her up yesterday after being told she had lice, our daughter was playing with other kids. When I called and talked to the owner today, she was unapologetic and said they are not required by the state to notify parents of a lice outbreak. She also said they sent one out yesterday "as a courtesy". She also said that we are partly to blame because we didn't call her back within an hour and we did not notice our daughter had lice over the weekend. read more

If I could give a 0 rating i would. I will not go into complete details but let me just say the following: 1. TEACHER AND DIRECTOR TURN OVER HIGH 2. NO LEADERSHIP 3. NO COMPASSION- only want the money 4.QUESTIONABLE TUITION POLICY AND PRACTICES 5. TEACHERS YELL AT STUDENTS AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE KIDS. Only money! I am grateful that they called 911 for my daughter who is a severe asthmatic and did call me at work. However, the next day, i called to speak to the director and the Regional director, Ashley, a very condescending and pretentious individual did not even ask how my daughter was doing, just asked when I was going to pay. Jeanie Smith is the founder and apparently there is no way to get in touch with her. She has to call you. She should be ashamed to call herself an educator. Send your children else where..I recommend Sunrise Pre School. I suggested that the administrators take a time out and work on their human service skills, educational needs skills and customer services skills. read more

We were referred to this daycare, or as they like to say-learning center, by friends who also attended. We brought our son to Kids Inc for close to 2 years (from 1 y/o to a month before his 3 yr birthday). We were always satisfied and impressed with how much our son was learning and creating long lasting friendships. We made the decision to go elsewhere after putting up with too much drama from the staff and the director, Stephanie. While in the 2 y/o room; we had to address favoritism with the director and she went to the teacher and told her which parent had a complaint which caused friction for my son. Once we moved to the 2/3s room, a teacher in another room had quit and my son's teacher felt it necessary to share that in fact that teacher was fired. When I asked the director, regardless of the situation, why teachers were sharing this information with parents; again the Director went to the teacher sharing with her which parent was upset and why. Our son had less than consistent teachers in his classroom in the 10 months he was in the 2/3 room (6-7 "permanent" teachers)...turnover is a huge RED FLAG! His last teacher would yell at him every day; he would come home begging not to go back because his teacher would yell. When I went to the director about it she told me none of her teachers yell. I challenged her with, my child doesn't know about making up stories yet so I believe him, let us transition classes and that will be a resolution. The director told me there were no spots open and we would have to wait 2-3 weeks; then proceeded to move other, younger children to the older class. A friend of ours, has a daughter there the same age as our son. During the spring/summer-in Arizona no less-a teacher left the child OUTSIDE alone for 10-15 minutes! My friend opted not to take legal action because her child was fine; but seriously THAT is NOT acceptable! Needless to say, the week we left 4 families also left. Again, another RED flag. Glad we left, future/potential families beware!! read more

I would not recommend this business for many reasons. My infant-1yr has gone without food, has been injured without it being reported to me, has been given spoiled juice, & inappropriate food for their age. The staff is NOT friendly. I believe the teachers do the best job they can working under the stress of this place. My child has been sick so much while attending there. Every time they get well & they go back, by the end of that week....SICK AGAIN! Pink eye twice. I know this is common to day cares, but this seems excessive. I just don't believe they are disinfecting the toys and surfaces enough. We're out of here! read more

What can I say? How about undeniably unbelievable. My less than 2 year old counting to 10, 12, 15? What if I told you she also knows her abc's, and just the other day read three sentences from the Cat in the Hat book? How about math concepts understanding basic addition? It's all happening and at such a rapid pace it's unbelievable. The kicker for me that this was a sound decision was when I picked up my sweet little pumpkin tonight, she was having so much fun playing puzzles and with the other children she didn't want to leave. LOL! The class rooms are organized, the children are taught manners and always busy learning and occupied ... again ... What can I say? EXTREMELY SATISFIED! My boys have gone to Kids Inc for the last 2 1/2 years and I would recommend this school to anyone! They have some incredible people on their staff and have an extremely low turnover. The school is very organized and very clean. If you have a concern, and bring it to their attention, they hear you and they address the situation. We have watched our kids grow at Kids Inc and the teachers have been a huge part of their lives. We were so fortunate to be placed in Ms Shannon's class and my oldest thrived. She is absolutely amazing. We wouldn't have made it through the mornings without Ms Haley. I could name drop a dozen more, cause each one of the teachers has made a difference in the education and growth of my children. My family has been in every classroom, from infant to school age, and all have been great. We are moving and will be sad to leave this wonderful establishment and wonderful women who work here. These women truly care about your children and we care about them. read more

If you are thinking about enrolling your infant, please take care in interacting with the staff and observing the infant room. Perhaps ask for a trial day if they will accomodate the request. My husband and I toured the facility and initially it looked wonderful! It was spacious, bright and the baby room had many new looking swings, bouncers, etc. However, beware. All those swings and bouncers are there for a reason: the kids are plopped into them, receiving litte attention while the teachers talk amongst themselves ( this was primarily noted in the morning/early afternoon). When dropping off/picking up my 3 month old son, I noted that babies were left crying with little attempts to redirect behaviors by the teachers and were often completely ignored. They were left on the floors with little interaction or in swings that are not even turned on. On one occassion, a baby who was newly walking was at the window crying for their parent who had just left, and the teacher completely ignored her. When asked if she was going to help the baby, she said "Oh, that's just how she is. We can pick her up but she just cries anyway." Well, this was a red flag for me! The teachers, while most are very friendly, appear to be college students/part time staff with varying schedules, so there was little consistency in the room. In my experience, little ones especially at an age where they are learning to manage seperation anxiety, really need consistency of care. We decided to withdrawal our 3 month old son. When we gave the director Stephanie our withdrawal letter, she got very defensive. I told her about the situation with crying children and she basically told me "that is not what my teacher said happened." It was clear that she was not interested in hearing my concerns and pending the end of our conversation simply walked back to her office without saying "good bye" or "thank you for your feedback and I am sorry that it dod not work out." It was a very unprofessional departure. In speaking with other parents who have children attending the 2-3 year old rooms, they have noted increasing classroom sizes that lead to a chaotic environment. Overall observation: the facility is beautiful, however, if you are seeking a nurturing and interactive infant room with consistency you might consider looking elsewhere. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I will never take my daughter to to this place again! I am a pretty open minded person on how it takes time for a child to adjust, but when I was noticing certain red flags with my daughter I brought up these concerns with her teachers. I kept hearing the same thing, "it takes time," or "she was great today." I was completely ignored!! I have never had an issue with changing her diaper or getting kisses from my Little girl. Every time I do these things she says "I'm sorry," and gets upset!? Why is she doing that? I asked to cancel with Kids Inc and was told I needed to send a written letter or email. So I did this and found that the email given was false. I go in the give them the letter and pick up her things. I got back almost ALL the diapers I sent with her for the two months she was there. Her report cards told me that she was wet at every changing, so why was she not changed!? Every time I went into the class rooms the kids were crying and unhappy. I made the comment to a teacher in the twos room about how every one seemed unhappy while picking up her things and her response was "They are all playing so it's just noisy." Really? I even made it a point to show up on my lunch from work to view through the window to see how my daughter was doing. She was by herself in the corner by the door quietly playing with a toy. Kids were wandering around crying. I just felt at that moment that this was not ok. I gave this place two months to prove me wrong and it ended up being the worst decision I've made with my baby girl. read more

If there were more stars- I would give them. I have three children who have all attended this school in various classrooms with very stable faculty. We left briefly for another school and came running back. My children were welcomed back with open arms by both teachers and friends. They are learning so much and they are happy. Ms Liz, Katie, Kristin, Mary Lou, so many of these wonderful teachers. They do seem invested in the kids. I have personally had a fantastic working relationship with the director with no issues whatsoever. This school has been far and away more flexible with regards to scheduling and accomodations to my family. read more

My daughter began coming here as an infant in 2015 and everything was great for a while. First, I will say that since day 1 I was offered a "discount" but the catch was that since I had said discount, I would be required to pay cash only. Tuition is due Fridays, I paid on Monday's considering every time I would pull off the amount needed I had to take out an additional 10$ as ATM's limit you to multiples of $20. Due to the front desk never having my change and taking days to get my change to me, I just waited until I could get into a bank over the weekend to pull out the exact amount. I had asked numerous times why I wasn't able to use the online portal as other parents can and was told because my discount couldn't be in the system *SKETCH*... Thanks for the discount but this is inconvenient. Anywho. I went through a hardship that ended up causing me to slip a week behind. This conversation with Stephanie was extremely degrading. She is the most bland, blank and condescending person ever but she smears a thin coat of fake smiles over top of it to try to fool you. This is one issue. NEXT: My 3 year old has come to me and told me a 6 year old boy from the school age room came in to her class of THREE YEAR OLDS and was calling her friends mean names. When she told him to be nice, he told her "Shut up, dumb baby". Now, idk why there was a child of that age mixed in with toddlers or WHY he decided it was ok to talk this way to them.. But later I found out this child was Stephanies son. When I told the teachers about it, they rolled their eyes and sighed like this was a known issue and said "we'll talk to him about it". Never happened. THEN, my three year old comes and tells me another little boy asked her to show him her butt when they were in the bathroom. Again, I brought this up and the response was "We will just have to keep them separated" WHY ARE THE BOYS AND GIRLS POTTY BREAKS NOT ALREADY SEPERATE!? And why were they so out of earshot that no adult heard this? As if this all is not alarming enough, my nephew was enrolled a few weeks ago and has a speech impediment. He is showing early signs of autism and was BOOTED out due to hitting and biting (which any child with communication blocks can have tendencies of doing). He was placed on a joke of a "2 week behavior plan". My sister came in 2 days in a row and sat all day to watch and see how her son did. She stood in the lines when they did, sat at the tables for snack like they did.. no issues that she saw. Two days later, my nephew was sent home with 4 incident reports within a total of 30 minutes of each other. Things like "throwing peas on floor during lunch, backing into cabinet doors, screaming loudly, knocking over a chair during story time" sounds like a normal temper tantrum to me. Anyways, they booted him out for this. I used to adore this place but it has progressively gotten worse. I would highly advise anyone to avoid this daycare. read more

I do not recommend this center to anyone looking for childcare. The location at 2019 S Bluejay has a current director that is extremely verbally aggressive to staff and parents. She talks down to people and is overall not well liked. Many staff have now left in the short month she has been there as well as a few families. This facility is a great place to take any child. I have worked in other daycares and realized how structured and friendly this place is compared to others. The teachers are all so friendly and care about their job. The rooms I recommend the most are the infant, ones, two's, and four year old room. The school age program is not as structured or intense as I would like it to be. There needs to be more involvement and challenge with the curriculum. The classes are suited for the children's ages. I love that they have a splash pad. The director, Stephanie Trygstad is amazing. read more

The facilities are great and attract you to the school at first. They have huge classrooms and a great location. Although it doesn't take to notice that along with the large facility also has extremely large numbers in the classrooms, a high turn over rate of staff and lack of properly monitoring those entering the building and the classrooms. The front desk is almost always empty, you have to track them down in the hallways. It couldn't be more different than the previous daycare I had my child in where you had to check in with the front desk before being able to enter the door that allowed you into the area with children. This daycare is not even built in a way where they can offer this type of monitoring. The director is unprofessional and lacks concern of the children's safety. I wouldn't recommend this daycare to anyone as it has been an unbelievable let down and something I never would have thought I would experience after carefully researching and visiting many daycares before my decision. I would proceed with caution if this is the daycare you choose for your child. read more
