I have my daughters enrolled here, and they truly love it. I really appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I especially love that so many of the teachers know my girls and greet them by name--it makes such a difference. I value that the school follows a set curriculum and that my daughters are also learning Spanish. The structure is wonderful, and I appreciate how their learning at school reinforces the values and teachings we focus on at home. In full transparency, the beginning was a bit challenging. Since my girls were only two at enrollment, they were frequently sick during the first six months and missed quite a bit of school, which required me to rely heavily on my mother-in-law during that time. I also felt that the two-year-old classroom experienced a higher level of staff turnover, making it difficult to keep track of who their teachers were. That said, now that my daughters are older, there is much more stability in their current classroom, and they are truly thriving. If you love your child, please do not send them here. I normally don't write reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience to help protect other families. This daycare has shown a clear lack of care, accountability, and professionalism toward the children in their care. From the very beginning, I had concerns. The initial tour provided by Bonnie was disorganized and unprofessional -- I should have trusted my instincts then. We brushed it off, thinking maybe she was having an off day. Our baby started here at 5 months old, and on his very first day, he came home with a scratch that looked like someone had dug their nail into his skin. When I asked about it, Bonnie simply said, "We have cameras, but we can't rewind them to check what happened," and brushed it off without offering a clear explanation. A couple of months later, while checking the classroom camera during my lunch break, I witnessed one of their staff members, Khloe, yelling at my baby. He was left sitting at a table for about 30 minutes waiting for a bottle -- with no toy, no comfort, and no interaction. The bottle warming process takes only a few minutes. When I arrived immediately after seeing this, Khloe admitted she had lost her patience with other babies and took it out on mine. Despite reporting this incident to Bonnie, the staff member remained employed, which showed a complete lack of concern for the children's well-being. Additionally, my baby frequently came home dirty, hungry, and extremely tired. The environment was unclean -- staff walked across carpets (where babies crawl) with outdoor shoes, and the toys were visibly dirty. After moving my baby to a new daycare, he is now thriving -- happy, clean, and well cared for. The difference is night and day. I rarely write negative reviews, but I cannot stay silent about this. Parents deserve to know the truth. Based on my experience, this facility does not prioritize the safety, cleanliness, or emotional well-being of the children in their care. read more

I'm only giving this place one star because that is the only option. The first day that I dropped my son off who is two years old he was so excited to be there. I walk in the center and the first thing the receptionist said was, "Do they know that you are dropping him off turning nap time?". Not hello, how are you, but an immediate irritation about me dropping him off during nap time. No one had ever told me that I couldn't drop him off at that time. The was the first of me hearing this. I walk him to his class with Ms. Tiffany. He walked in so excited. I notice her throwing things around the room, frantically cleaning. She threw a pair of socks on one of the children's bed which almost landed on his face. She was clearly overwhelmed and I thought to my self, this isn't going to go well for him I could just tell because he isn't use to being around that kind of aggression. She also told a little African American girl who got up off her cot, "Go sit down, you're not new to this, you already know the drill". I literally cried in the hallway because I was nervous about leaving him, but I had to leave him to go to work. While I was at work, the image of her aggressively throwing things just did not sit well with me so I left work after being there for only an hour. I walk in to the center and the receptionist look like she saw a ghost. She wasn't expecting me so soon. She says, "I'm not going to lie mom he had a terrible time". I was only gone for an hour. How is this possible? Why didn't you call me like I asked you too? What happened? So apparently Ms. Tiffany forced him to stay on his cot because they have to stay there from 12:30 to 2:30 for two hours. These are two year olds mind you. This was his first day. Of course he was going to have a hard time with this rule. She has no situational awareness. She didn't care that it was his first day and he was only two she forced my baby to stay there until he cried his self to sleep. When I went back there to check on him. He was still hyperventilating and whimpering in his sleep. As a mom that broke my heart. They told me he had been sleep for 45 minutes and when I went back there my baby was still crying in his sleep. Not only that when he woke up I noticed that he had partially lost his voice from crying so hard. I'm so happy that I followed my first mind and went back because if I didn't I would have never knew that had happened because as you see they never planned on calling me to tell me. Please don't send your kids here unless you don't mind them being held down and forced to stay on a cot for two hours everyday which is nearly impossible for a toddler. I'm sure I can expect a nice message from the owners account to try to save their reputation, but I can guarantee you that everything I said on this post is 100% true. I wouldn't trust this place. After briefly observing Ms. Tiffany's class I saw the way they aggressively talked to the kids to make them lay down for a 2hr nap time. I witnessed one of the staff members snatch a child up by her arms because she wouldn't sit still in her cot. I understand that kids can push your buttons but it doesn't look like these people practice patience with them. That's a big red flag. Also, when I interviewed with Ms. TIffany she jokingly said that her brother told her " you have to be nice to the kids". Like, if your own brother knows you have a mean streak, why would I trust you with my child?? I don't play when it comes to childcare and it seems like this place will can cause emotional stress on your child especially when they don't want to lay down for "2hour" nap time. At first glance I was excited about bringing my youngest daughter here. She is three years old and her Dad and I wanted to get ahead start on her education. I went on a tour guide and surprisingly everything checked out. That quickly changed after the first week. I noticed that my daughter went from being excited about going to "school" to crying every time I dropped her off. I thought maybe it was because of the change in our schedules but after the third day, I asked her why she cries when I dropped her off. She simply said because her teacher, Ms. Tiffany was mean. I know it can be stressful managing the younger aged kids but to be mean to children is just cruel. There should be stricter guidelines and education requirements that help train these educators on how to professionally manage children. Thankfully I was able to find her a better more suitable program for her and she doesn't have to continue there. Children's Lighthouse is an amazing place for growing children. My child has been there for almost a year and she has learned so much!! The goal really is to have your child learn. They learn life skills, about nature, how to be a friend, plus all the other stuff like songs, counting, and colors. I appreciate the security of Children's Lighthouse. The front team really get to know the kids and who picks them up and drops them off. The in-room cameras for parents to watch are just an added bonus. I plan on keeping my child at Children's Lighthouse until she goes to middle school. (They do drop off and pick up to the local elementary schools!!) read more

I was very unsure to put my son into early education school, from him still being in diapers and him being an only child I didn't know how he will adjust to a new environment. My son in 4months loves the school, is fully potty trained, has kids around him learning over all. He is a very happy child I'm grateful for all the help everyone in this school has given not only my son but for me as well. I feel they are my family when I walk into the school with my son. I been taking my son to lighthouse since he was 1 years old and ever since Leslie and Janice left the new management (aubry) the lighthouse had not been the same and there new staff Bonnie and princess they have no idea how to run a daycare. I feel like they are taking a lot of money every month from my mom's checking account and always telling us we owe hundreds and thousands of dollars to the daycare. I don't know how these staff make so many mistakes and it's been so horrible since. If u don't want to get jacked and people not really taking care of your little ones don't bring them to the lighthouse. Trust me!!! I wish Yelp let you give 0 stars. A few months ago I contacted the state because of an awful incident where an older boy physically hurt my daughter. There were several incidents before this where Children's Lighthouse was negligent and allowed other older boys to touch my daughter. Bonnie talks a big game, but nothing was ever taken care of as these things continued to happen. They stopped reporting any incidents where my daughter got hurt due to the unprofessional, young, and careless employees. These employees continued to play it off as my daughter continued getting hurt by other children. When I finally went to the state, Children's Lighthouse had decided to report an unusual occurrence, which is comical because they stopped reporting to me a long time ago. They only care about themselves and their money. When I asked for a meeting to remove my daughter from their "care", I asked for the owner to be there. The owner Aubree Fuentes did not show up and during this meeting, it was insinuated that my daughter was lying. I asked for the video to be pulled, since they supposedly have cameras, but they never got back to me. This facility is disgusting and full of rude and careless employees and management. I know there are plenty of good reviews, but don't be fooled unless you want to compromise your child's safety. read more

I had to put my 2 month old in daycare so I could return to work and to say I was feeling all the emotions would be an understatement! I have been so pleased with the whole staff! I get a daily report everyday after I pick up my son that notates diaper changes feedings and even little photo updates of his day! We enrolled my daughter in September of 2023 and were quite pleased initially. The place is clean, secure, and the classroom teachers seemed nice and still were until our last day. My daughter was 18 months when she enrolled and anyone with kids knows they pickup bad habits such as biting and hitting. Age appropriate behavior according to the daycare and pediatricians across the globe. The daycare started off by calling us to come pick her up for her biting, so me or my wife would have to leave work early to come pick her up. This happend about four or five times in a matter of a two week period. Then the next step was they suspended my daughter. WHAT DAYCARE SUSPENDS A TWO YEAR OLD FOR AGE APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR?? A three day suspension, so I had to take three days off work and these crooks were still trying to charge me for the days that she wasn't going to be there due to their forced suspension for my daughter. I understand that for the weekly tuition, if you excuse your kid on your own you still pay for the day, but when they suspend and still try to make you pay? I argued that point and the Owner tells me they need to charge because she is part of the head count. How is she part of the head count when she isn't going to be there??? Also, according to their biting policy they are supposed to suspend after a third occurance in a certain amount of time but they did it after twice and when I asked why they did that they said they made an "executive decision". I dont recall in our contract being able to bend the rules due to "executive descision" whatever that even means. Anyways she was being "nice" and only partially charged me for those three days while my daughter was suspended. After her return from the suspension, they recommended she has a teacher shadow her aka be her bodyguard. An extra 150.00 a week on top of the 380 weekly tuition. By sheer chance after all this written above had unfolded my daughter had an semi annual check up with our pediatrician. I explained to her our situation here and she told me get her out of here asap. She said it sounds like their way of redirecting her biting is to constantly send her home which tells our daughter "geez, if I bite someone an hour later mommy or daddy show up to pick me up and I get to spend the whole day with them". So they said my daughter bit again after returning from suspension ( fighting for a toy or something along that line), so the following week they had the security guard shadow my daughter. No agreement/consent in email,text, or addendum. My wife watches the camera and all the extra teacher did was follow her around literally all day. Another teacher was holding her hand the whole time on a different day. My wife got upset about the latter and called the daycare on the spot and the director apologized and said that wasn't how it was supposed to be done. If your a liscensed and professional daycare with that extra teacher, wouldn't you have her teach my daughter about the biting via books/songs, and not just shadow her around, especially considering they expected us to pay for it? And the nerve of the staff to tell me " She's going great!" since the addition of the extra teacher just for my daughter. Well, if an adult is literally being a bodyguard for my daughter no shit she's going to be doing good then right? Comical. My pediatrician wanted to talk to the director about my daughters biting to see how the redirection was being applied and also give suggestions to make it work. We had a appointment via telephone with our pediatrician and the director. We told the director the day before about it and I called her four hours before the appointment to remind her to please be available at 4pm for the call. The doctor called at 1545 and the person answering the phone said the director wasn't available, then she tried again at 1615 and again said she was on the phone and wasn't available. What a joke, the next day we got a superficial apology from her for missing the call, but me my wife and even she knows she didn't want to hear a dose of reality. CONCLUSION: Your children are looked at through the owners eyes as dollar signs running around and the second your child is anything of an inconvenience she will do whatever is necessary to get you to leave. She doesn't care about helping the kids, she's just concerned about padding her bank account. I think that the fact that you can suspend a two year old and also try to up charge more money says it all. Treating my kid like she is a criminal. My daughter has no clue whatsoever, shes only two for gods sake. I could understand if she was 4 or 5 and still doing these actions then that's on us as parents due to us not disciplining her and not taking the daycare complaints seriously, therefore we would deserve these kind of actions. But this is not the case for my family. read more

Our kids are well prepared for grade school with this great start! The teachers are wonderful & caring. And we love all of the special events that involve the families. The staff is all kind and charismatic in their greeting, and will even spark up conversation with our talkative 4 year old. Childrens lighthouse has been a tremendous help as I am a single parent and work 8-10 hr shifts daily. Initially, me and my kids felt scared because this was the first time we were in this situation where I had to take them to a daycare. First days were very hard because as a parent you see things on TV and can't imagine any of that happening to your children. But fortunately I can say that Mrs. Leslie, Mrs. Janice, Mrs. Rita, Mrs. Princess and Mrs. Mindy have all been very welcoming and trustworthy. My godchildren and I toured Children's Lighthouse in October 2022 with hopes of sending them here since they needed to be in school. When I toured the school with Princess, I was impressed with how structured the school was. After the tour, Princess gave me a form to sign which mentioned their non-refundable enrollment fee and informed me once I provide the enrollment fee for the kids, they'll call me with a start date. So, about a week or so later, I returned to the school and submitted a check for $175 and the signed form. Subsequently, I received 3 packets for each child and was told to complete it but don't date anything until they call with a start date. My godchildren are also my foster children so, I had received an emergency child care referral which is also known as the Bridge Program and they pay the school directly for childcare. I informed the lady from the program that I would love for the kids to attend this school so, they sent the enrollment forms to them to complete and remit. Consequently, the enrollment forms were incomplete, according to the Bridge Program and the referral was denied because it had expired. So, another referral was resubmitted which gave the school another 30 days to rectify the situation and coordinate with the Bridge Program. I received a call from Princess last week saying they'll have space for the kids by mid-December. I was thinking all was well until I received a call from the Bridge Program explaining the kids cannot attend this school due to there being "religious instruction" and I would have to find another school for the kids. Although I knew the enrollment fee was non-refundable, I called the school and inquired about obtaining a refund since the kids cannot attend the school. Bonnie, the director, said she'll look into it and call me back. She never called back. So today, I called the school again and told the lady about my conversation with Bonnie and I was able to speak with her. She specifically said "I spoke to the owner and we can't refund you because it's not our fault the kids can't go to school here and it's a non-refundable fee. And it's our right to keep the money." Keep in mind, services were never rendered but I got off the phone with her and called the Bridge Program. Come to find out, the school was at fault for the kids not being able to attend because they chose not to enroll. I decided to cut my losses and find another school but I'll never recommend anyone sending their child((ren) here. The right thing to do was to refund my money but evidently, that didn't happen. I'm confident I'll find a school who will deliver and go the extra mile for me and my godchildren. read more

Having to move around due to military comes with the struggle of finding the right school for our son A place that is welcoming nourishing and caring. This place has been that and more!! Every staff member greets my son with so much joy every day. After having a horrible experience at another facility When we moved to the area I really felt like my son would not adjust going to school again like he did at our previous duty station. Ms Mindee and Ms roya have been truly amazing since day 1. The way my son talks about them Makes me feel at peace while I'm at work. Aubree (Owner) is always there to answer any question I have. Since the first day I toured this school with her I knew she was running Not just a "daycare" this is a place where our children should feel loved heard and seen. My soon is super shy but him coming back and everyone welcoming him remembering him helped him feel more comfortable. I love the staff here. I reserved a spot for my daughter (150.00 deposit) with the promise of enrollment in 3 weeks (March 2022). After 3 weeks I contacted them and still no spot available. I understood because every place is short staffed at the moment. However, 2 months later there is still no spot and no time frame for one to become available. Again, I understand. I spoke with the director because at that point I needed to go to a place with an immediate opening and she understood and promised to return my deposit due to them not having a spot available. Here we are almost at the end of May and I have called and left messages and spoke directly to the director with no resolution. I have been told the owner is not in, but not given any contact information to talk to her directly also. I have been told it was mailed back to me twice although they have my correct mailing information as I have not moved. I feel as if I'm just getting the run around at this point and as of today still told the owner will "maybe" be in next Monday so I can call back if I want to. Beware of giving a deposit to this business because I am out of 150.00 and got nothing in return but a headache!!! read more

My nephew attended this school for approximately 2 months . Instead of receiving the care that would make a mother feel comfortable enough to leave her child , my nephew was being singled out daily . Watching the cameras , his mother would see other children hitting my nephew .. and nothing would be done : the second my nephew did anything he was disciplined , and his mother was called at work to come get him... almost daily . Look, he's autistic, I understand it's a job but he shouldn't be treated different because of it . Your staff went in to work with children , some easy some not. Instead you tell us " we don't have the staff or equipment for special needs" You are a disgusting place. read more
