I've been with the Kindercare family for thirteen years. I want to emphasize family because that is what the staff has become to me. My two oldest children stayed at Kindercare from the infants/ ones class until kindergarten. I have since returned to Kindercare 11 years later, welcoming another daughter into the infants room. Kindercare staff are the only people I trust with my children outside of family. I have developed relationships with Brandie and her amazing staff such as Tia and Maria who have been there since I first started. Kindercare has an amazing curriculum, friendly staff, great communication. They also provide updates and pictures of my child throughout the day on their user friendly app. There's no other place I would recommend to new parents! read more

Our daughter attended Kinder Care (Canyon Crest Site) for 2 Yrs; and has recently been dis-enrolled at our discretion. Unfortunately, I cannot say that it has been a positive experience throughout her attendance because there have been several challenges amidst a few "good months". Initially the site seemed inviting and welcoming but we soon discovered that this center was largely focused on quantity over quality, numbers over value or the importance of establishing interpersonal relationships with clients/families. While we understand children's temperaments and personalities vary, we feel that several teachers/ members of staff did not demonstrate the capacity, grace or patience to work with children effectively (at least not ours). We were constantly called away from work to pick our daughter up for nuances and incidents that we felt could and should be handled by skilled/trained staff. Coincidentally there were rarely incident reports when our daughter was in the receiving end. Our daughter is very intelligent, inquisitive, confident, outspoken and decisive, she's quite vocal about how she is treated & independent but this was often misinterpreted as a negative behavior and observed as problematic. We as parents' worked diligently to address any/all issues that could be addressed concerning behavior but ultimately observed that as she was continuously being disciplined and her negative behaviors highlighted' we observed her slowly lose her spirit, zeal, fervor and enthusiasm to attend. At best, we dis-enrolled her because we don't want to curb her enthusiasm or change the trajectory of her scholastic experience at such a young and impressionable age. We would like her free-spirited demeanor, creativity, and exploration to be cultivated, supported and encouraged wherever she journeys next We are grateful for the opportunity for our daughter to have attended, garnered the friendships and interactive skills she has. read more

This is the best center I have ever had my son at! My son went here for Todder-Two years old and I am genuinely sad he is leaving this center. I could tell my son's teachers (Toddler-Ms.Rita, Mrs.Alyssa, Ms.Averie/Twos-Mrs.Bri and Mrs.Liz) cared about him, his well being, and development. Not a single morning that we arrived at the center were we not greeted with a warm "Good morning" and same with leaving we always left with a "Goodbye have a good night" etc. I felt my son's classrooms were a safe and stimulating environment for my son to learn and grow. What truly sets this center apart is their dedicated team of teachers and staff. They are not only qualified professionals but also compassionate individuals who go above and beyond to nurture my child's unique talents and interests. My son has flourished under their guidance, gaining confidence and social skills while exploring a diverse range of educational activities. Communication with staff has been exceptional. They provide regular updates on my child's progress and are always available to address questions or concerns I have. It's clear that the center director Brandie prioritizes open and transparent communication with parents, fostering a strong sense of trust and partnership. Overall I am incredibly impressed with this center. They have exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and i feel grateful to have found such a nurturing and supportive environment for my child. Stay away, protect your kids from this place ! It's a joke! Stay away parents, this place is all about numbers & money . Staff had 0 empathy and not enough employees. My daughter was enrolled for about a year . No major issues until recently. Within past 3 weeks my daughter was bitten 3 times ! I understand this is somewhat normal behavior amongst 1-2 year old. The first time I was somewhat ok with it and understanding . The second time we met with the director and received a BS explanation. The 3rd incident involved the same director I met with, she witnessed it! To my understanding teachers/ aids don't pay close attention and are on phones rather than watching kids and doing their job...We began to look for an alternative daycare . A few days later , mom went to pick up our daughter and to her surprise, a teacher by the name of Zoe manhandled my daughter without realizing that mom witnessed! As she was called out on it, she began to back pedal and realized she messed up in front of mom! That was the final straw for us. I can only image of all the horrible things that happened to my daughter and other kids when parents aren't around . We reported this information to proper authorities and I truly hope this place gets shut down or loses their license. Thank God we found a new daycare . To make matters worse, on the last day our daughter was at this hellhole, she contacted hand foot and mouth virus and passed it on to my 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter! I will forever be hurt and traumatized for the way my child was treated here. My son has been going to daycare since he was 1. Due to military orders this location was his 3rd school so I figured it would take time to adjust . The first week he cried everyday at drop off and pick up which is a bit normal because it was a new place new faces. Due to COVID regulations parents weren't allowed inside the building so the communication was always at the door but communication was only there if YOU asked I always had to ask they didn't really even know my son was new to the center the first day . They were always in a rush to get kids in and out. The second week got worse my son did come home saying that when Ms Tia would tie his shoe she would pull him he would he would ask me in a panic while getting him ready to not to put shoes with laces on him and would Insist on Velcro or slip ins shoes he would say "I don't want that Ms tia to get mad " I would always give the staff the benefit of the doubt and To be honest I have always very timid to when it comes to confrontation but it was my child so I would ask at the door every day at drop off whatever came to mind that my child would talk about at home but always so respectfully. I respected them and blindly trusted them. The end of the second week he would tell me I don't wanna go to school because my teacher doesn't like me she doesn't like us ..that was very odd for me when I heard that four year old to say The teacher doesn't like them. To feel that an adult doesn't like them. Every time I would ask questions at the door they would always give me a run around in very short answers again I never was rude when I would express the things that my son would tell me at home and when I say it was everyday he would come feeling uneased. I didn't anticipate the weeks going forward it would get worse pick up drop off at dinner time every time he thought about school he would get sad and still say that he didn't want to go. When every other school he has enjoyed. Mid second week I had this gut feeling so I put him on a waitlist at Another school. In my job field I work with clients and I would ask about their childcare to seek other option when I heard a few of my clients speak poorly about this facility I knew I had to take their word into consideration. We are new to the area any time I would ask people around me or would look at Riverside community pages I would hear really negative things about the school so he would kind of reassure that something was wrong and I should maybe look somewhere else. Of course a few good things but any negative thing was truly confirming to me it was poorly ran. There are so many little situations that have been leading up to the last week(4th week) but a parents worst nightmare came true when a teacher who had transferred from a different KinderCare to this canyon crest one reached out to me through a note in my sons pocket asking me to call her .I immediately Did. After about an hour or so on the phone She told me she just wanted to confirm that all my feelings and concerns were right... my son was being miss treated and pretty much neglected she said that that facility did not treat kids with kindness like she waas used to from her 10years with the company she told me every situation she was able to witness when my son was mistreated and clarified that my son was never acknowledged. After collecting many disturbing emotional details details I called licensing, the riverside police department and corporate . I had an internal witness and my case is still under investigation through licensing. The police department did as much they could do and also reported it to licensing. When I called licensing and gave them details and the situations seen by the teacher and the things my son would express to me they said that rough handling a source of physical abuse and the way my child and the other children were talked to and treated us verbal and emotional abuse. I want to start off by saying that if you're considering this daycare please go somewhere else. We first picked this daycare based on the location, being that it was close to our home. After a week, my wife started to express some concerns to me about our son truly feeling a certain way, not only about the daycare, but also his teacher Ms. Tia. My son expressed to us that she would be very rude when he would ask for help to tie his shoes. This became an alarm when my son would not let us put on shoes with laces on and he would say "Make sure they have extra bunny ears so that Ms. Tia won't get mad at me." My wife expressed these concerns to Ms. Maria (Office aid) and Brandie Rubalcaba (Director of facility). We even asked Ms. Maria if our son had made friends because we thought maybe that was the reason. Her response was that she saw him sitting on the bench by himself during recess period because she thought maybe he was shy and did not want to play much. We then asked "What do you do when this happens? Do you encourage him to socialize?" She then responded with, "Good question, let me ask what Ms. Tia does." This daycare is truly and example of poor teacher and director behavior. They truly demonstrate behavior that should not allow them the opportunity to work with our children. I want to share how wonderful and diverse this center is. My daughter is in Ms. Tia's class. She is my youngest child. My 12 year old and her have gone here. It has been a great experience. I came on here to share a review about how she learned about Ramadan at school today. I started reading some of these reviews and am appalled at some of these parents' obvious exaggerated posts. In our society, to many people are quick to leave a terrible review before they share a good experience. Parents, if you want quality care where your children are learning and making friends, bring them to this Center. Teachers and management are great. My daughter was so happy today on the way home telling me all about Ramadan. I scheduled a tour last Thursday on 3/15. First impression was not so good, when I walked to the front a lady(parent) asked rudely "do you even have a kid that goes here" like is it any of your business right. But I kindly said I have a tour today . LOL so rude. She didn't want to let me in since "she didn't know me" so she went to call the assistant director since the bell wasn't working . I went in & she was very nice but didn't explain everything too well and seemed in a rush, it was literally a 15 min tour. I love KinderCare Canyon Crest! I have been a very happy client for many years! And constantly recommend the center. My child is excited to attend, looks forward to spending time with his teacher and friends. I am so proud of all the working individuals at this center, 2020 has been nothing short of an experience for everyone. I am so grateful for all the teachers and what they do to keep our children safe. My child has attended this center since he was 7 months, and every one of his teachers have been amazing! I look at the bad ratings on this and honestly can't believe what is written. My son has been going to KinderCare since he was 7 months old, and he's now 5. I mean honestly, as parents we strive to give our kids the best and there's no way in the world I would have left my son at KinderCare all this time if I didn't think he was in capable hands. The staff is amazing, and have bent over backwards to make this a wonderful experience for my son. Ms Brandie, Ms Michelle, Ms Alicia, Ms Jasmine, Ms Tia, Ms Maria, Ms Taylor, Ms Nicole, Ms Alicia, Ms Krystal, Ms Brianna, Ms Stephanie, Ms Sandra, Ms Annie, Ms April ... These are just a few of the many wonderful women who work at KinderCare. All of them have interacted with my son at one time or another during his 5 year attendance, and all of them at one time or another has served in the role of teacher, mom, nurse, advocate, counselor and confidant. Everything I have ever asked for they've done, and everything they thought I needed to know they have told me. There were no secrets, and this shared experience made my son's preschool experience more pleasurable for him and for me. I have never encountered a rude person there even if I did not know them. And my son felt comfortable around everybody. The center has a lot of kids to manage and I think they do a excellent job. The location is clean, colorful, bright, airy, and invokes a sense of learning and encourages children to be independent thinkers. This is what you want from a center, you want to be able to leave your child and know that they're going to come home with a good learning base, and able to tell you what they've learned that day. We've been to numerous birthday parties and have had parties at our home with the KinderCare families. This would only happen in a place that fosters togetherness. I feel sad that my son is growing up because I would love to leave him at the center! I'm even considering working there part-time as a volunteer, that's how much I like it. Anybody who's thinking about using the center will be in for a treat. I don't leave reviews lightly because I myself am a very particular mother, and I would not endorse a establishment unless I felt it was truly worth it. I have very high standards and I will say that on a scale of 1 to 10 the Canyon Crest KinderCare is a solid 10 plus. I normally don't give reviews on here unless I really feel like I need to inform people, but this place PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN. You would think they would be a nice school because of the location, but it is far from it! They wouldn't feed my daughter (4years old) because they said she didn't ask for food or water. I've also seen them yelling at the little kids. This place is not worth the money and all they care about is the money. They are very unprofessional and gave me attitude constantly (especially Maria) when I would express my concerns with my daughter. Then her public school finally called me after 6 months to let me know she can finally start school and when I informed them they said it's not my problem you owe us this week plus 2 weeks pay but when they shut down the school multiple times randomly they were able to cancel right away for the inconvenience? Yeah Thai school is terrible please be mindful what you're getting yourself into with them! They're worse than salesman! read more

This is the closest day care to our house. My son is only 2 1/2 years old. Since I am a stay at home mom, the only reason we would like for him to be in day care is for him to be able to socialize. We inquired last Friday and they gave us a free / guest day so we can see how our kid will do in the day care. I brought my son last Tuesday, St. Patrick's Day and when I picked him up he was so ecstatic. He went to the 8am-12nn schedule. I would love to bring my son here. My daughter attended this daycare since she was 2 years old for 3 years. By far the best daycare I could have ever asked for. The staff has literally become my family. There's not a single day that I'm not happy with my decision to place my daughter in their care. They potty trained her. They taught her ABC's, and she went into kindergarten being able to recognize all her letters, shapes, and able to count unassisted to 30. She knows all her sounds and colors and can write her first name, all thanks to this place. Not to mention they have the best photographer that comes in and takes pictures of the kids at least twice a year in addition to Lifetouch Photography. I love all the memories we've made, the lessons she's learned, and the life long friends we've made during our time at Kindercare. If we hadn't been moving, I would have enrolled her for kindergarten here as well. My grand child attends school at this location. Trust me when I say this no one asked me to come on here and say anything. I really love Kindercare. In my opinion, the teacher's go above and beyond to teach the children to get them ready for kindergarten. I believe no other daycare will take the time to work with children like the teachers do at all the Kindercare's. These teacher's have to take on a lot all day every day. By keeping children safe, happy, clean, and busy until their parents pick them up. I know all to well what these teacher's go through. I use to be a kindergarten teacher. Everything will go so amazing until a negative parent enters the building to enroll their child. I was so appalled when I witnessed a parent aggressively shoving a blue folder into a teacher face saying here give this to the director. That disgusting parent was dropping off her son. This happened last month. I felt so bad for that poor teacher. The teacher handle her self very professional she politely took the folder and said ok. These amazing teacher's are putting their health at risk to educate children. They don't ever deserve to be mistreated or to be humiliated in front of everyone. I was impressed by how clean and friendly the staff at Canyon Crest was. This is a secured day care center which is very important in my book. I have visited many centers and I am always surprise on how easy any stranger can walk in the center, but this was not the case at Canyon Crest in Riverside. Horrible place! Even the licensing on their inspection mentioned to the teachers and the director on how they were treating my child differently than others. I came in early to find him locked into the bathroom, which I had been wondering why he was so fearful of the bathroom when usually that's the place he enjoys the most. (Bath time). My two year old got STAPH infection 3 times in less than a year from attending this daycare. That tells me how disgusting it is. He got bite several times, scratches and suspicious bruises. Not to mention my son is disabled and they would let him starve for 8 hours everyday due to their "government food program" I wasn't aloud to bring him any special foods nor would they give him any different snacks at meal time. Wouldn't call me if anything was wrong. My mother even had to talk with them about her findings on early arrivals. They DO NOT CARE about children. Needs better management and training. Or have ppl who r compassionate towards children/people in general. Do not bring your kids here. I wish I would of went with my first instinct, when I had my first encounter and the screaming children they wouldn't help on the playground. Next time I will pay attention to the omens being shown to me by my higher power. This place needs negative stars. Such a shame to have evil people trying to teach our future. The director at the Moreno Valley facility had been extremely rude to me. So, called corporate and was planning on changing facilities to this location. This director was extremely rude to me also. As if she was trying to get me not to put my son in her facility because she was friends with the other director. I ended up not brining him here because I felt it would be an unsafe environment for my son seeing how the director acted. Kindercare has clearly hired a bunch of drama queens and are building a bad reputation by keeping them. Since moving my son to a new facility outside of Kindercare, and talking to other moms, I've learned how many others share the same feelings about Kindercare facilities. I hope for the children's sake they replace these people with kind hearted, kid loving people. read more
