We previously had a bad experience at a different daycare, so upon enrolling her (my 10 month old) we were pretty nervous. I am very happy to say how happy we are with this daycare. Tara, the director, gave us the tour and she was very friendly, open, and honest. I normally see Ana and Alondra in the front, and they are very sweet, vibrant, and happy. My daughter's teachers are ANGELS- Alyssa should open her own daycare like the role of being a daycare teacher fits her so well as she's so warm and gentle. Brenda, Araceli, Maria are all just as amazing and attentive. When I have a break from work, I pop into the cameras, and I see some of the most sincere gestures like Alyssa rocking a crib for a baby that I'm guessing needs a little motion to sleep, I've seen Alyssa give the most tight and warm hugs throughout the day, and each baby gets the care they need. All of her teachers are trained well and great at reading cues. My favorite thing about my daughter's class is the structure and organization. I never have to question anything. Although I believe this business treats the children with care, the teacher's never seem to stay long. I've met several different teachers and staff within a short amount of time that I am simply numb and uninterested when I'm introduced to someone new. This facility also should consider where the staff park, as well as, where they park their buses. I find it very inconsiderate for those with babies to have to park further away from the school because the school buses and staff are parked closer. There is a large parking lot near the dumpers, is that not for the staff? Also, they charge you for everything and even have the nerves to have sign up sheets for parents to bring stuff for random parties. We pay enough for our children to attend there, so I would expect them to take the cost out of what I'm already paying for tuition or simply stop having the parties. Overall, I would say look somewhere else, unless you're free-spirited and don't mind lots of change. read more

This school is more than just a daycare/school, it is family to us. The staff - from Director, Front Staff and teachers have been amazing with our child. There is a genuine atmosphere here, which is a great feeling for 2 working parents. There are times during the weekend that if we pass the school our child will beg us to stop to go to school. Our kiddo learns so much here and we are just beyond thankful for all the love and support that is given here at this school.We have loved Room 4, 5 and now 6! read more

My daughter has attended CLLC since she was 6 weeks old, but she is now 2 and have withdrawn her. This school used to be AMAZING! All the employees were loving, caring and I had nothing but trust with them. Since then there has been a huge employee turnover and they've been thru multiple directors as well. Over the recent weeks various events have occurred in her class and surrounding ones that had me concerned about my daughter's safety and well being. My daughter has been attending Children's Lighthouse Woodcreek Reserve for a little over a year and we have nothing but great things to say about the it. All the teachers have been so wonderful with my daughter from Room 4 until 6 now. Miss Susie and Miss Sharon in room 6 are amazing and I can see how my daughter is learning so much but more importantly we feel our daughter is well taken care of, safe and socially engaged. Her teachers even supported us during the difficult time it was for my daughter to have a new baby brother. Management very poor at this location. Leadership starts at the top. There are much better choices very close to this one that will allow your child to grow and learn in a positive, fun environment. I have never posted a review before but our children are our world and I want everyone to be aware of this location. I was planning on moving our child here once we made the move to Katy. I called on several occasions and each time the service was subpar, but the third time was downright horrible. I called to begin the process for enrollment and was told that they would have to check the availability for the classroom and would get right back to me. Two hours later, I called and was transferred to the Director. I told her who I was and was advised verbatim, "This is "name", the Director and I told you FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO that I would call you back when I knew the availability..click". Not only was she very rude but she hung up on me. I checked the time frame on my phone and it was not fifteen minutes, it was a little over two hours. The only reason I was calling back so soon was because I wanted to visit at lunch to sign the papers before I went out of town. She NEVER called back. I called another location that was only 2 miles further from our home and was met with kindness AND they did not even need to put me on hold to advise of vacancies for my child. I have told my story to several friends in the area and one of them said that word around town is the management is not very nice and they have a hard time keeping employees. High turnover is always a good indication of the environment... God works in mysterious ways because I am SO thankful my child will not be there. read more

My daughter has been attending Children's Lighthouse - Woodcreek Reserve since she was 9 months old and is now almost 2. From room 2 to room 4, she has enjoyed each of her teachers and has a very special bond with each of them. Miss Nita and Miss Celina (Room 2), Miss LaTonya and Miss Chelsea (Room 3), and Miss Noslen (Room 4) are absolutely wonderful with her and all the other children. Each of them treats my daughter as if she was their own therefore I do not worry about her health or happiness from the time I drop her off in the morning until the time I pick her up in the afternoon. I cannot say enough positive things about any of these ladies! Additionally, the staff at the front desk is amazing! We love Children's Lighthouse of Woodcreek!! Ms. Tonya is fabulous, she is pleasant, professional and fun, personable and bubbly for our little 5 year old. Ms. Rene and Ms. Katie know how to be a ray of sunshine as well. Ms. Bree is amazing, loving, caring and experienced teacher. Our daughter doesn't want to leave in fact she wants to go home with Ms. Tonya who is management and Ms. Bree and the other teachers!!! We wish Children's Lighthouse offered Kindergarten we will be sorry to leave:) Only reason not 5 stars would be other lunch options for a semi picky eater as our daughter can be or a bring in your favorite lunch day..but we understand there are too many food allergies!!! I'm not sure who the other reviewers have spoken with at Children's Lighthouse in Woodcreek, but I have to get on here and defend them! This is my oldest son's third daycare since he was 6 mo. old, and I must say that this is the best daycare he's been in so far. Its a great facility with great directors! They always greet me with a smile and know both my children personally! The teachers really care about the kids there, and I can tell! Sometimes the administrative process can be a bit slow, but give these ladies a break - they have a TON to do, and they can't always drop everything to be at your beck and call! My 3 yr old LOVES it here, and my 10 month couldn't be in better hands! Don't let one or two bad reviews hinder you from looking into this great daycare! read more

My child attended this school for almost 2 years. For the first 6 month it was good, but went downhill from there. There are so many complaints I had about this school. First off the lady that runs the front desk is very rude and fake. To me the first impression is your staff you have working at the front desk. They could also never keep their employees. They had a few teachers there that were really really good and really loved their children, but they let them all leave because they didnt want to pay them. Goes back to the old saying... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!! Children want stability and they dont want to have to go to class with a new person everyday!! They also want to charge you a fee for EVERYTHING!!! In the course of a year i think i added it up to be about 300-400 dollars extra in fees not counting the tution i was already paying per week. Anytime i would ask about these fee's and what they were used for I was told its mandatory you have to pay them. So unless you are just desperate for a daycare I would not sugguest going to this one. You will regret it! The only reason we stayed for 2 years was only because my childs last 2 teachers were awesome and he does not do change very well at all. Once I found out his teacher was leaving due to not getting the raise she asked for, we left and never looked back. I would NOT recomend this daycare to anyone in the Katy area!!! read more
